It all depends sa preference ng owner. If I have a 10k gas allowance from my job, I wouldnt mind at all the fuel consumption eff. Maporma ba sya, yes. Spacious ba sya, yes. SUV feels, yes. Matagtag ba sya, for me yes. Underpower ba sya, by the spec yes. But at the end of the day, happy naman ako at contented sa rush ko. Ofcourse If I have the luxury to buy ung mga talagang pangmalakasan na cars, I would not buy them. Ito lang ang pumasok sa budget ko at preference ko kaya happy ako. I learn to appreciate at alagaan sya more. Just my opinion :)

Very helpful and informative review! True, it all depends on the preference and driving attitude of the owner... I like the Rush for its high ground clearance, the advance safety features, spaciousness, sporty modern look and gadgets... fuel consumption depends as with every other car on driver’s style, for sure aggressive driving will be fuel inefficient. Conservative and wise driving yield acceptable numbers 16 kms/liter highway run (50-100 kph range, depending on the terrain, zigzag climb and downhill, flat straight roads) and 10 kms/liter city drive (light-moderate traffic, at 20-50 kph range). Wigo and Vios rides smoother, but theirs is an entirely different type of suspension... as mentioned in the review the ride is very acceptable on city driving. 😊👍 Thanks thanks!
The good thing with Toyota is that it doesn't allow its model to settle at the 2nd place specially against a Mitsubishi. It will be doing all it can to overtake the sales of the no. 1. You know what i want toyoto needs to up grade, just for me ok. I reckon its better if they up grade the rear view mirror. Kasi for me looks so basic lng sya. For me i reckon it was gud if they put a rear view camera. Were you can record things that are happening during your journey while driving. Probably just for an add on to safety features as well.
Just got mine a weeks ago:-) Many features are really good especially safety, which is important. i had just felt small disappointment on the interior center cosole and transmission.. just thinking that could add more leather or piano black accent given it is a 1.1M price., All in all... you have to love it, smooth and steering is relax and handy :-) I bough accessories to make it more beautiful inside😊
kaix , yes, i am not sure why i bought this, maybe just for ego... hahaha..,i got if from concorde, i have to use 3M adhesive just to make it firm, though sometime i used to remove it, i find it useful to have center cupholders while driving:-) Interestingly, I also added leather handbreak skirt and lever cover as well to make it more appealing, they could have done better like the vios handbreak and transmission finished hahaha just my opinion.
Im not an expert when it comes to auto specs but this Rush G is above average for me, I am driving a fortuner (family car) maybe the reason why I am longer for more, but this variant is great. I don't see how this become underpowered, it feels fine uphill not even using power shifters., If you have higher budget.. go for inova or fortuner,. So, comes up, Toyota Rush and Daihatsu Terios to compete with New X Pander. Unexpected the both cars become the best sale. Especially Toyota Rush where consumers have to wait 3 months to get New Rush. How about in Philipine?
1.5L petrol engine with 100hp and 135NM + 4 speed auto + front wheel drive + wagon body + 7 seats for more than 1M php?? what was toyota thinking?? mag innova nalang kayo guys. 2.8L diesel with 171hp and 350NM + 6 speed auto + RWD. konteng $$ nalang idadag nyo. better in the long run.

Toyota didn't really made an effort to this "Rush". And they're selling it for 1M. For an antiquated 4-speed automatic trans, better buy a manual, at least you have 5gears. 1.5Li engine is only good for compact sedans like Honda City or Vios. The tiny Hyundai Getz has diesel engine why can't this Toyota Rush? 1.5Li petrol engine + 4-speed auto tranny + Wagon body = POOR MILEAGE. Got the math?
Kyle Justin if you are spending 1M on a car, you should be critical about it. otherwise, you have a poor judgement. buying a car is not cheap, thats why you have to be critical on every criteria. you have to do comparison to other cars. Everyday Tech i'm gonna give you my "lack of knowledge" the rush is a rebadge daihatsu. Just like the wigo and avanza. Both avanza and rush are body on frame, rwd solid rear axle suspension. Xpander and brv are car based meaning unibody, fwd and a torsion beam rear. Xpander also have a 105hp engine while the brv has the most(120hp). Xpander is the better car for me. But i'm sure you have no idea what I've mentioned above.

Mas malakas talaga ang konsumo ng gas sa city vs sa highway. Engines were made to run fast for efficiency. Your engine is still running even when you are stopped & idling in the city. It is still consuming gas. Anyway you should always consider city MPG & highway MPG. The true MPG lies in the combined average. For example my Toyota corolla get 25 in the City & 35 in the Freeway. My avg MPG is around 29 MPG.
@@delconagher12 alam ko naman yung city mas malakas syempre nakahinto na umaandar yung makina. Sinasabi ko lang na napaka unrealistic ng 10kml sa highway. Now yung sinasabi mo na average na kasama city then they couldve said "Mixed city & highway" in the video. Because seeing these numbers can really make people to change their minds lalo sa mga di pa nakakabili na masasabi nilang malakas sa gas. Kase for us konti lang difference niya sa vios namin (18-21kml) which is napaka tipid na nga sa gas ng vios namin and we were not disappointed sa rush namin.
You just dont get it lol. Im just explaining that fuel consumption readings should be reset when youre trying to get accurate results. What I'm saying is when youre getting the km/l for the city then you can reset it right from where the car is parked. When youre trying to get highway reading for km/l you should reset it when youre at cruising speed or atleast when you are approaching the said highway. That said you can get accurate reults. Now look at 1:17 there is no "Mixed city and highway" result and yet you think that the 10km/l (Highway) in the video should be the average city and highway which is inaccurate dahil di siya pure highway cruising kung ganun. Di rin naman po ako tanga para di malaman na more weight= more fuel consumption. 150 kgs heavier ang rush (1180kg) kesa sa 2010 vios (1030kg) namin. Alam ko rin naman po na pag nagcocompute ng fuel consumption average dapat whole trip. Pero for the sake of the video, split po dapat yung city and highway readings. Now eto naman po nilalaban ko. I can easily get 15-17 km/l sa rush namin dahil may instantaneous km/l reading siya about 16.4 average from mindanao exit nlex to sta. Inez. But these guys only gets 10km/l na para bang nagsakay sila nga puro mabibigat na tao ang sakay e kami 6 na sakay lang pero lumalaban parin sa 15-kml pag nagmemaintain ako ng 80-85km/h.

All talking, rush engine is small not ideal for 7 seater. Second, high fuel consumption. Buy one and you will understand what im saying.

Xpander and brv are car based meaning unibody, fwd and a torsion beam rear. Xpander also have a 105hp engine while the brv has the most(120hp). Xpander is the better car for me. lead footed ata sila. bakit ako pag sa nlex nasa 17 kml pag 90km/h pag sa edsa naman na traffic nasa 7.8-8.5kml? somethings not right sa highway fc. di ata nireset yung km/l reading sa dashboard after makalabas sa city.
Mas malakas talaga ang konsumo ng gas sa city vs sa highway. Engines were made to run fast for efficiency. Your engine is still running even when you are stopped & idling in the city. It is still consuming gas. Anyway you should always consider city MPG & highway MPG. The true MPG lies in the combined average. For example my Toyota corolla get 25 in the City & 35 in the Freeway. My avg MPG is around 29 MPG.
@@delconagher12 alam ko naman yung city mas malakas syempre nakahinto na umaandar yung makina. Sinasabi ko lang na napaka unrealistic ng 10kml sa highway. Now yung sinasabi mo na average na kasama city then they couldve said "Mixed city & highway" in the video. Because seeing these numbers can really make people to change their minds lalo sa mga di pa nakakabili na masasabi nilang malakas sa gas. Kase for us konti lang difference niya sa vios namin (18-21kml) which is napaka tipid na nga sa gas ng vios namin and we were not disappointed sa rush namin.

You just dont get it lol. Im just explaining that fuel consumption readings should be reset when youre trying to get accurate results. What I'm saying is when youre getting the km/l for the city then you can reset it right from where the car is parked. When youre trying to get highway reading for km/l you should reset it when youre at cruising speed or atleast when you are approaching the said highway. That said you can get accurate reults. Now look at 1:17 there is no "Mixed city and highway" result and yet you think that the 10km/l (Highway) in the video should be the average city and highway which is inaccurate dahil di siya pure highway cruising kung ganun. Di rin naman po ako tanga para di malaman na more weight= more fuel consumption. 150 kgs heavier ang rush (1180kg) kesa sa 2010 vios (1030kg) namin. Alam ko rin naman po na pag nagcocompute ng fuel consumption average dapat whole trip. Pero for the sake of the video, split po dapat yung city and highway readings. Now eto naman po nilalaban ko. I can easily get 15-17 km/l sa rush namin dahil may instantaneous km/l reading siya about 16.4 average from mindanao exit nlex to sta. Inez. But these guys only gets 10km/l na para bang nagsakay sila nga puro mabibigat na tao ang sakay e kami 6 na sakay lang pero lumalaban parin sa 15-kml pag nagmemaintain ako ng 80-85km/h.
8.5kml is magastos. Dapat 10-12 city kung totoong matipid
