Very informative and helpful review, our Rush G average fuel consumption is 16 km/liter highway run, 11 km/liter city-suburb driving... acceptable numbers, considering other features of the model... its thumbs up for us!

Yup, rush gamit ko and dumaan kami sa baha lagpas tuhod habang ung mistubishi xpander at honda brv eh naka park sa side kasi di sila pwede. Rush pa din ako.

Just a clarification, the Rush G sits on 17 inch reams and wheels, the E variants use the 16 inch r/w.
yes but still same ground clearance because the tires of E is 215/65 compared to G which is 215/60 only.
Dol Quiano yap agree, what the E lacked in the ream it compensates in its tire height results in the same ground clearance 👍

Why doesn't it have a Toyota made engine? It's built by Daihatsu. Daihatsu in Japan builds 660cc engines for their "K" cars. "K" stands for KARUI which means light. Light in weight and fewer Japanese taxes.
Diesel po ba yan ?
I think power to weight ratio is very weak. 7seat car has a 136 nm of torque and 102ps of power. while taking on hillside we should put in 1st gear.
Tanong ko lang kailan pa naging "powerful" ang 1.5 liter engine at kailan pa naging mataas ang 22 cm? Huwag ikumpara yung sedan sa SUV dahil mag-kaiba talaga yun.

Toyota rush 7 air bag daw pero nung na aksidenti pinsan ko walang air bag respond buti pa yung kabangaan nya na isuzu mux 2017 model may repond na air bag sus Toyota ayusin nyu naman
Maganda yung rush tbh. The exterioir looks anazing, yung makina ok lang naman kasi for family nga naman. But what disappoints me a lot is the interior. I didn’t like the seats and the plastics around the interior.
But overall maganda sya. Disappoint lang sa interior. Kaya nag dadalawang isip ako if bibili ba ako nyan or hindi.

Wala tagala ako pam bili nyan ka c nabili ko Blue power 3.0 na MUX, baka ikaw, tingnan mo ung Rush Toyota Rush Club ng makita mo na madami depektib na Air di gumana, ultimo ung ung ilaw sa may salamin ayaw mag off, ang bilis pa masira gulong, napaka poor ng quality kung yan binili mo 👎🏿

Just done reading comments. Well lahat nman ng sasakyan eh may issue eh. Tsaka wag masyado mag kumpara sa mid to high end na mga sasakyan kasi aanhin mo dn lng yang gara ng sasakyan mo, lakas ng makina mo sasakyan mo, at maluwang na sasakyan mo kng dto ka dn lng sa pinas mag dra-drive dba.

come on man. off roading with a 1.5L gas engine? come on man. It is an excellent vehicle as a people hauler, and being one of the safest cars in its class. But let's not say it is for off-roading. hahaha it is misleading to label it as such.

This SUV or crossover is more suited to be driven in the highway/city not offroad as they claim being only a rwd if you wanna go off road better buy a real 4wd suv like the prado, fj or landcruiser.
As long as you have 4M then you'll be fine

Bro, kahit 100cc lang malaki pa rin ang difference. Lalo na pagdating sa power to weight ratio. 100kph at 4000 rpm ang cruising ng rush. Mas malakas sa gas ang maliit na engine kapag hirap ito compare sa malaking makina na under stress. Daig pa sya ng mazda 2 namin. Ang liit ng kaha pero 1.5 ang engine. Kaya ang resulta matipid sa gas dahil understress ang makina.

it"s not a crossover (a unibody platform, the type used by most passenger cars). The Rush is built on a body on frame construction like the SUVs of old.
