Try different plug gaps. A fouled plug can often fire a very small gap of around .010", especially with plenty of fuel and compression; and if lean or low compression, it might only want to fire with around .050". Try one of each and see what works! especially if you don't have clean plugs to put in.
I like the shots of what you are doing in the engine bay rather than the pulled out shots. You do enough of these start up videos that you should have a standard kit, including strong battery, starter fluid, tire inflator, fuel lines, fuel filters, hose clamps, etc. Also include some basic repair items, such as belts, plugs, wires, etc for the model of vehicle you are targeting.
I prefer the engine shots, but a good addition would be like a go pro or something records from the rear to show if smoke or junk shoots out of the exhaust, thats always fun :)
@Junkyard Digs sorry for the @ but i have to ask, where is the squarebody now? haven't seen it in awhile, and when i have the money, i may be interested in it.
I had a 76 Chevy 350 3/4 ton pickup with a 4 speed. That fan was a pain always running. I put a toggle switch at the bottom of the dash to turn it on and off. The center carrier bearing of the driveshaft wore out and the idler for the steering froze and got noisy after 50K miles. Other than that, the fuel 'economy' was poor, but it ran like a race horse with an Edelbrock intake.
