Jim Carrey played fire Marshal Bill on the show a living color
I’m with Mook, Toasty Toad is perfect!! I think a drag car would fit it best
These old Chevy inline 6 are bulletproof! I remember my old fourth gen Nova had one
You know everyone is backing Mook on this one. Toasty Toad.
Laughed so hard, I had tears in my eyes after watching the ATF fluid shooting everywhere. This revival is almost as funny as the Satellite revival you did with Thunderhead289. Enjoyed the video👍
“Make it rain!”
Proceeds to make a hurricane
call it Burnie the burn chevy
Timestamp?
The Phoenix. She literally drove out of the ashes.
Yes awesome name
I thought supernova was cool but this tops it.
Strong "Christine" vibes when it started moving. :-) LOVE IT!
Seriously, someone called Phoenix is reviving a car from the ashes? 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣nice
He should call the car Fuego Nova it fits well
I enjoy the revivals every time. But I’d love to see one of these as a project car and get restored.
Hopefully the Wildcat that's a beautiful car
Yep Moog nailed it THE TOASTY TOAD its a keeper.
Yeeeees please toasty toad
I have worked on cars alone for a long time, did the same stuff they did, million trips to town, didn’t block a coil wire but forgot similar key components to starting an engine. Glad to see I was not alone.
I KNOW this will sound crazy, but what IF you “sorta” build that thing with a 70’s look, rebuild the 6, and put a huge turbo on it? 🤷♂️🤪 Might could go with a 5 speed and keep the siders.
Thomas , no joke their are guys that turbo those 6 cylinders , but yeah that would be very cool and different not what everyone else has!!!
@@novadiecastman5251 how do those straight six engines run with a turbskie?
Barra swap 😉
@@tomjoad8272 I know that their is a group of them that race at cedar falls raceway here in Iowa, as a Matter of fact I have sold Tom 2 stright 6, one from my nova and one from a nova I parted out ...
6's are awesome
Please genuinely fix up the nova, I would love to see a series on fixing the body and paint, SAVE THE TOASTY TOAD
I would love to see this fully restored
Why? 73 is uglier then my sister. Doesn't even have a v8...
@Fake Treyten :)
I definitely would restore it and drop a V8 into it.
@@SaveAmerica-TRUMP2024 thats your opinion.
I would just make it mechanically sound with new goodies underneath, leaving that beautiful burned patina. Mad Max that nova out!
I’d like to see Ol’ Smokey there fully restored and doing some burn outs!
Have you ever watched the movie Christine? I think you should call it Chrustine.
Definitely a good name.
I knew I was getting Christine vibes from this
Exactly what I was thinking
So "Toasty Toad" it is, Mook nailed it :P
Mook called it. The "TOASTIE TOAD "
31:50 This makes me think of the movie "Christine."
54:48 oh yeah fellas we've all been there and know that face!! Mook doesn't approve of the crusty crab
Oh man this is definitely one of my favorites you have done!!
If Luke was there he would have rebuilt the starter on the tailgate of his truck day one.
Too bad they wouldn't give you a garden hose give it a wash when you got out.
It's ironic that you were working with someone called Phoenix. Having risen from the flames, that Nova IS a phoenix!
56:45 The defining moment in this nightmare. I love it🤣
Took me awhile to get over using a DSLR but GoPro and phone camera works just as good for TH-cam
Yeah, great for walking around CoPart but people producing 'real' content need the flexibility and quality of a DSLR. As usual Randy, you are talking rubbish. Junkyard Digs are clearly doing things right as they have a subscription level and number of views per video that you can only dream about. Kevin, if Randy ever approaches you for a joint venture do youself a favour and walk away. But please do more content with Derek!!!!
You’re the man Randy. Respect from Lawton!

@@AutoAuctionRebuilds thanks for the reply! Feel like I’m talking to a celebrity!

Thatd be the trans fluid we dumped in
@@JunkyardDigsyeah, just playin'. Love your work 👍
The only names I could think of was the MelaNova or CarcaNova it's covered in cancerous bumps and lesions after all. Had '72 Nova with 307 3sp Standard on the floor.
Next time change the starter snout, that way you'd have a decent starter. Only two starters for that car, large diameter turbo flywheel, and smaill diameter, powerglide. The only difference is the snouts, one straight bolt, the other stagger bolt.
When you started moving that card reminded me of Christine
Crispy dragon. It spit fire at you, it has an attitude, and it breaks shit.
When are you gonna put a ring on Mook man ? You guys are made for each other !
Cringe
@@lucasrustt mook is cringe lol
Well, were waiting
I am glad your doing something for her I have had my 74 for 27 years was in family when she was bought new this would break me too see mine done this way
