You may never read this comment, but this guy has mastered this game completely, I have never seen another TH-camr that has worked on any single game this hard, I paid the $14.99 for the ps4 version of FF7 just because I missed so much when I did this in the 90's. Amazing videos, thank you.

The Mind Sources Farming part reminded me of late night/early morning infomercials.
I didn't have a problem with aqualung hitting Yuffie because I equipped her with an armor with a 0% magic defense it hit her every time. I equipped Yuffie with final attack morph, final attack revive and revive Quadra magic, had no problems
Fun fact magic defence doeesn't even do anything anyway except mbarrier in the older versions which i play and that has caused me SO many deaths also the best way to beat emerald weapon i found is w summon knights off the round mine and final attack phoenix thats how i killed emerald weapon
@@simonpugh9750 im pretty sure that magic defense % worked in the original game, yes armors didnt actually give you extra magic defense, but they still gave you dodge chance against em. Mysitle was the best armor because it gave 60% chance to dodge magic attacks for example.
Mine is do not give Yuffie the luck source until the other characters maxed out their Spirit stats for Mind Sources and the HPMP Materia on her then attack one ally with Demi or in my case use T/S Bombs on the character with the highest HP (in my case, Cloud). Until Yuffie has the highest HP (for the Serpent to attack her with Viper Breath)
@@alster724 just hit the serpent once with 9999 dmg and then use l4 suicide on it, and wait for it to use dragon dance on yuffie, kill off one character so theres a higher chance of the serpent hitting yuffie and equip her with hp mp so she can die by one hit, this way i got 255 on all stat in about 15-20 minutes for 1 character
Or you could have equipped her with the water ring, which absorbs water
Advice: if you’re gonna do the W-Item glitch method, save luck sources for LAST. It’ll make Mind Sources a hell of a lot easier.

that way, Yuffie gets hit. Tbh I had no issue, she was always getting hit by Bolt from the Magic Source enemy and Aqualung by the Serpent.

running in circles in the galnika..oh my god this brings back memories. i wish i would have recorded my hours back then but ive spend sooooo much time source farming, leveling and AP farming with the pots in the crater. i dont even know how i could do that since today i hate grind in games, but back then in the late 90s' during my teens, i had no problem doing circles for 6 hours straight 7 days a week. and for what? just to beat emerald and ruby to brag to my classmates and show how nerdy i am :-/
now, nearly 20 years later, i learn tips on this what would have been sooo usefull for me back then. i never used yuffies conformer for the moprhing since i didnt know about it. information and tricks were a different thing back then, especially, if you dont have internet and your only source of information is what magazine and guides, thus leading to 200 hours (aprox) running in circles and morph everything by hand with damaging it so it can be morphed while a crit might killed the thing and thus no item for you.. it was such a pain, no wounder i repressed that memorie untill i saw this video :D and today i dont even rember if i reached the 255 stats for the whole party or if i stuck with some kind of an "204 ah, good enough"

Regarding Yuffie, she can’t evade anything if you use a dazer on her.
There's no reason to split your Final Attacks between two characters for Mind Sources. Just give Yuffie Final Attack + Morph, Final Attack + Revive, Quadra Magic + Revive/Master Magic. Make sure the Revive materia paired with Quadra Magic is at least the same level as the one paired with Final Attack or use Master Magic.
Serpents will use their breath attack against whoever has the most HP. Use Magic Hammer to pacify him, then spam Demi or TS Bombs on your own characters until Yuffie has about 400 HP and the other two characters have even less. Be sure to attack the serpent once because it has more than 9999 HP, then give it a Turbo Ether. You'll have plenty of time to duplicate 99 Mind Sources while Yuffie spams revive and you'll be nearly set up for the next battle. You might want to give Yuffie (or anyone, possibly) a high potion between battles so that it will take the serpent two turns to kill Yuffie, giving you enough time to attack it once or, I suppose, you could double up on the Final Attack + Morph combo to eliminate that need.
For anyone using the morph dupe method for farming power sources, I suggest using hi potions or turbo ethers as the "junk" item to sacrifice, the green bug enemies and blue carrot enemies found in the same area morph into hi potions and turbo ethers respectively, so they can be easily replaced, possibly even within the same battle in the case of turbo ethers.
Great video. For the last part, you can give yuffie both of the final attack setups, and kill the middle character yourself beforehand. You can also give her cover. No need to worry about whether two characters die or not.
I give Yuffie mega all materia so she morphs all enemies at once. I also set up several linked combos of counter and morph. You'll usually never get the chance to use the mega all morph bc 1 or 2 hits from an enemy will trigger enough morph counters to end the battle right there on the spot. Edit: I forgot to mention, give Yuffie a mastered cover materia so she gets more chances to counter with morph.
I love to add the 'Steal as well' materia with the morph. Gives you a good chance to steal. With Yuffie's conformer, you've gt a pretty good sustitute for mug.
If you are playing FFVII via the original Playstation or through PSX 1.13 Emulator there is a simple method to source farm the the solo enemies.
Be sure to be in your W-Item screen and used the single item to open the top slot in your item inventory right as the enemy is about to be morphed. When morph is about to hit the enemy open the CD door (or if you are using PSX 1.13 Emulator use the eject CD function). The enemy will be morphed, you will be left with no enemies, you will have the stat item in your inventory BUT the battle will not end. This is the opportunity to use the W-item glitch and duplicate as much as you want. When you are ready to continue the game, just insert/reload the CD and you will win the battle.
Imma try this once I get there, if it works (I dunno why it shouldn't) I'll come back and praise you

Hey just a heads up man. When farming power sources at nibel reactor if you go through the hidden screen north of the door behind the reactor you will fight ONLY screamers.. this should come in handy

Tip for magic sources: you don't really need to put ATB on active provided you have enough dexterity, so you don't have to fight against time. At low dex the eight eyes attack animation would start before you get to your second turn and your atb gauge stops (that's why he recommends active i think), but around 150 dex you get to second turn more often than not, and with 255 i never missed it

Use Yuffie with low HP on 1 enemy sources.
Use her conformer weapon conveniently found in sunken boat.
Pair:
Master Magic - Quadra Magic
Final Attack - Morph
Final Attack - Shield (or a cast that takes longer that helps your allies, I feel shield is sufficiently long enough)
Yuffie dies, and final attack morphs enemy. While she is doing that, another character W-items and uses first item while waiting on Yuffies morph to finish, then the source appears in menu and you W-item farm while she is casting her shield final attack 4 times. Rinse and repeat.

There's an easier way to do the 2nd method, equip yuffie with final attack (FA) and Morph, FA + revive, FA + Quadratic Magic, HP-Plus + HP MP
just wait for yuffie to die and ready up the W-Item Duplication glitch. so you have plenty of time to dup every single source except the one from 8-eyes since you cant use W-Item glitch while dead.

An advice against 8-eyes at battle square: have Yuffie equipping the enemy skill frog song. You can cast it on one of the two opponents before the other attacks her to gain time.
Thank you sharing this video.. To make the magic source duplicate easy I add extra materia myself 2x(Magic Counter + Seal unrank) + (Quadra Magic + Seal unrank). Yuffie will count with morp first then she will counter with Sleepel four time, so I have no problem putting the 8eye to sleep and now u can duplicate as long as you want.
I found using demi was really usefull to lessen hp without killing
Demi does 0 damage on the Serpents. It is great for everyone else in the ship though.
It's been a while since I've been to this channel, but it's damn good to be back lol. So glad this is still here!
Found a grinding point for Mind Sources (if you're on PC, you can use the Save Exploit to give yourself the W-Item Materia), in the Whirlwind Maze, on the screen where you fight Jenova Death & give the Black Materia to either RedXIII or Barrett, you can fight two enemies here that Morph into Mind Sources (Killbins which are like D&D D6' in Cube Form & Dragon Rider), the Killbin enemy comes in twos while the Rider is Solo, there's also a Save Point here so you can use it to power level your characters Mind Stat. Be aware though that once you proceed past the last WM Barrier (continue the story), you'll lose access to these enemies.
I did this manually (running around in the Gelnika for countless hours) to max Cloud out only once. The thing is, I remember being able to use about 60 or so MORE sources after a stat reached 255 before he stoped taking them. I’ve always wondered wether or not those extra sources were actually doing anything or not...
I believe that happens because he was wearing armor...
Unequip all materia n use the worst weapons and armors u have before using sources, so you can see the near base stats ur chararcter truly is....
Using Demi is a good way of lowering enemies HP without killing them.
Serpents are immune to Demi so use Coin instead. Serpents have 14,000HP so throw 60,000 gil at the serpent twice to take the Serpent down to precisely 2000HP. Equip Gil Plus to make this method easier on the wallet.
More efficiently you can attack once and do the maths. e.g. if your attack does 6500 points of damage, throw 55,000 to take the Serpent's health down to 2000.

Serpents are susceptible to L4 Suicide Enemy Skill, then Morph...even Vincent can do it pretty easily. I put on a combo of (Hades/Added effect) + (Morph/Steal as well)on weapon, I made mi first million Gil selling aurora/Bolt/fire armlets

dude... hours not even a day. even the mind sources you can get 99 a cast apply them to a character and repeat quickly if you use inks from those things in the hallway. gelnika is the one-stop shop for sources

Really nice touch that you added in the stat sheets before/after adding the sources while the character is on level 99. Well done!
Great video as always. There is one thing I'd add though.
On the last part, you can stack extra Quadra Magic+(friendly spell/Master Magic) combos and itll give you one more spell cast per materia linkage up to 8 total (so 4 from the first pair, and 3 more pairs + the initial cast).
More time to crank that select cancel out, more sources per fight.
Also, you can use this with any friendly spell. I go with Revive, saves time reviving afterwards and takes less AP to master and thus duplicate
I just noticed this was working. I have just got sneak attack. I put it on with morph. I had Mega-all on Yuffie as well. So when sneak attack triggered she morphed all of them. I was like WHA! :P Because I was source farming with counter morph and counter mime and cover. (Not the best way because serpent will sometimes ignore Yuffie and attack the other 2 with magic till it runs out of MP.) Counter morph does not stack with Mega-all. Thanks for the video.
Probably super late but... I found a way to farm mind sources from the serpents in the Gelnika easily. Hassle free and 100% guaranteed for each battle.
Just make sure Yuffie has, as you mentioned, master Magic with Quadra magic, final attack morph, final attack with shield and final attack with restore. Also make sure she’s wearing the HP < - > MP Materia so she’s always on low maximum HP.
Before the battle, kill Yuffie. Soon as you start a battle with the Serpent, cast Life (not Life 2, but simply Life) on Yuffie. Once she’s up, she should be safe even with very low HP since the serpent never attacks her. So, with another character, attack the serpent dealing 9999 damage (which you should easily do with any character that’s level 99 and has 255 STR or even close to it). If you manage to attack it for 9999, which again, you can do with a REGULAR ATTACK, the serpent will ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS counterattack with Aqualung, thus killing Yuffie. Be ready to use the dummy item and glitch the source.
What’s more, even if Yuffie for some reason dodges the attack or survives it, the Serpent will keep casting Aqualung for the remainder of the battle.
Doing this, I’ve managed to farm sources 100% of the time while encountering the serpent. Just be sure to attack it for 9999 damage at once. Doesn’t matter how you do it, just make sure you hit it once for that value.
I’m pretty sure that’s easier and less frustrating than a challenge run in FF X ;)
You don’t need Final Attacks on any other characters, just have multiple Final Attacks on Yuffie. Final Attack - Morph, Final Attack - Shield, Final Attack - Revive, Quadra Magic - Master Magic, HP MP Switch, have Yuffie Morph the serpent once, and Cid Morph the serpent, that will knock its HP down low enough to hit with aqualung, as soon as Yuffie gets KO’d start the W-Item glitch with Cloud. Works for Magic Sources also, just attack with a normal attack once, then use Demi Magic or items to lower HP and wait for it to KO Yuffie for her to activate Final Attacks.
When It comes to farming mind sources I find it helps to use laser on your characters (enemy skill) and equip zero m.defense armor on them. While whittling down the serpent it helps to use comet 2 or 3 times and Matra Magic (deals about 500) to make it use aqualung. Now whether or not it hits or misses your characters is up to luck but I'm doing this now and I only need to do it another couple times to Max out the spirit stat of my endgame team (Cloud, Yuffie and Cid). Anyway thank you very much for making this guide. This and your other videos helped me a ton.

@@4-8Productions Just go into the fight with all characters on very low HP, but with yuffie slightly higher, Have someone sneak attack with comet or contain, then he'll hit yuffie with that weak attack 1st if she has highest HP, killing her and setting off the final attack deluge whilst you duplicate. I use Final attack with Revive and FullCure, as well as Quadra Magic with Revive and Full Cure, can hit 99 every time I get a serpent (as long as the Sneak Attack works, 80% when Mastered)and I just run from everything else until I get a Serpent and make sure everyone's MP is high (HPMP on Yuffie is handy)
Farming mind sources is easy thanks to another glitch :) Go fight a serpent in gelnika and when Yuffie is dealing the finishing blow, just open your playstation tray, OR if you're playing on an emulator, select the option 'Remove ISO'. The game will stay in a temporary state when nothing loads until you've put the CD back in. You'll have all the time in the world to farm 99 sources and then just close the tray or select 'Load ISO' once you're done.
one of these days I am gonna search my old video game collection for my copy of FFVII. I am a little worried I lost it to time though. I have lost a lot of great old gaming stuff over the years. if I can find it though, I am gonna re watching all these videos for a refresher course!
The serpent appears as the second fight after entering into the gelnika...leave the room and come back I have a good way to do it thanks to this tutorial none the less. I love 4-8 its great

Probably been said, but you can use the w-item glitch multiple times in battle. Also, in sunken gelnika in the short hallway where you get luck and speed sources, as there is a mix of enemies you can get 99 luck and 99 speed sources from doing the glitch twice in the same battle
For the Mind and Magic Sources, you can use multiple Final Attack Materia to buy enough time to dupe to 99. An example for Yuffie:
Conformer: Final Attack - Morph ; Final Attack - Revive ; Final Attack - Shield ; Quadra Magic - Master Magic
Whatever armor: HP MP (rest of the slots can be whatever, as long as they're not Counters or something else that can screw up this process)
After the enemy kills Yuffie, she'll Morph the enemy, cast Life or Life2 four times, and then cast Shield four times. You can replace Revive and/or Shield with any other Magic Materia that targets party members by default and has a reasonably long animation (FullCure is another popular option).
Awesome video taught me things I don’t know yet. Maybe utilizing hptomp materia to drop yuffie beforehand for mind sources. That’s what I’m grinding atm. Mind and magic sources. Thanx again for the tips
Final attack morph, final attack revive, final attack restore, final attack full cure, and final attack heal+ HP/MP on Yuffie and you have lots of time.
Magic Sources can also be duplicated from Unknown 3, the weird-looking stingray-like monster in the Gelnika Ship.
Just use the same strategy in Serpents for Mind Sources.
Attach Yuffie with the HPMP Materia
Single attack and wait for Unknown 3 to hit Yuffie (provided her Luck stats are not maxed out since Luck increases the chance of your character evading enemy attacks). As of date, I maxed out all of Cloud's stats.
To solve that last problem: just give the sources to Yuffie to powerup and don't give any to the other characters and strip them of their weapons and hear.
I just want to let you know, about those Mind sources...
Using what you taught me in this video, AND using the materia smuggle glitch you discovered, I was able to source-farm mind sources in Whirlwind Maze quite easily! (From the Killbox enemy iirc - they look like multi-colored dice.)
I finally can source-farm mind sources in a reasonable manner! Unfortunately the killboxes' appearance rates are pretty low, so I only stuck around to max out Spirit for my main party. But thanks to your channel and your efforts, I could make it happen! Thanks!!!

Yup the sheer number of hours I pumped into my "perfect run" save back in the day doing Source farming so every character would have max stats is kinda mind boggling to me nowadays. I don't mind grinding to some extent but these days I just do not have the time for it. I had a few tricks to farming faster but I honestly don't remember using Yuffie (which most likely was a huge mistake on my part) I did however remember using Morph all to speed up those mutli enemy fights as well as having morph on counter hit. Most fights didn't take that long regardless but it was still HOURS of grinding getting even one character to max stats. The payoff was great tho :) being able to steamroll even the weapons was so fun.
This is still super useful since I'm playing VII on the switch. I'll be using this strategy.

Goys, I finolly found a more effective way for the second method to gain magic source 6:45. The way is to delay A-dai attacks as slow as you have enough time to use w-item glitch for max 99 magic sources. First,
1) Change your all *3 battle configurations* in configuration menu to slowest.
2) Have this pair of materia for Yuffie:
*Morph M.* with *Level 1 Counter M.* (why? As you morphed one A-dai, you need a low counter success rate for Yuffie to counter-morph another A-dai to decrease the chance for it to die faster so that you have more time to use the w-item glitch. Level 1 counter has 20% success rate so there is 80% chance Yuffie will not counter.
3) Next, get either one of these pairs of materia or get both:
- *Max level Magic Counter M.* with *Level 1 Seal M.* (sleepel)
- *Max level Magic Counter M.* with *Max Level Time M.* (for "stop" effect")

You sir a genius I struggled to get sources through the game and I never bothered using the morph materia but now its very handy I been trying to beat Ruby but I was 100 on attack and thats very low for him.

i remember doing the morph glitch on the original ps1 game, it was way easier back then using it on the serpents, you just had to open the lid of the playstation after morphing and the game got stuck in the encounter even though all the enemies were dead, after duping to 99 you just close the lid and the it went on
What I did was HPMP Materia then T/S Bombs or Demi Magic for Mind Source Farming.
I always wondered how much of an effect these things had, therefore I just gave all of them to cloud 😅
there is another way to make it easier i seen a speed runner go to the church where you meet aries after all is said and done in the game and i think the mugger steals your top item so as long as there's 2 enemies (muggers) and your top item being a source with a quantity of 1 and he steals it the other character gets w-item rdy an the 3rd steals it back its placed back into the inventory upon which u start duping. Not sure if i explained it right but its done along those set of lines. if u watch the ff7 agdq speed run i think thats where i seen the glitch
yeah i don't know why death doesn't just use this method, i remember using it back in like 2002-2003 ish
The only problem with this strat is that Vices steal a random item from your inventory. At this stage in the game, you're likely to have at least 100 different items/weapons/armor/accessories. This would give the Vice less than 1% chance of stealing the source that you're trying to farm. In order to be effective, you'd have to be willing to sell most of your stuff, including unequipped weapons/armor/accessories. If I remember correctly, the speedrunner at AGDQ only had 4-5 items, and still had to reset several times.
Every now and then I go back to playing FF7 and recently have started again. Each time I do I always learn something new, and your videos have shown me a number of new things I never knew! New sub right here! :D
Along with source farming, you should Limit Break farm.
Also, use the materia that increases your encounter rate for faster source farming. Two Preemptive Strike materia on your 3rd party member could also help. Not to mention that Sneak Attack - Morph method gives an 80% proc rate, per combo, to start the battle already Morphin' the target into a Source. If Yuffie has all 8 Sneak Attack - Morph materia combos, try giving other characters such materia combo for slightly better proc rates... but they'll deal significantly less damage.
That morph trick is such a lifesaver
I haven't seen this in any guides, but the Dragon Rider enemy who spawns in the "rocky path" section of the whirlwind maze can also be morphed into a mind source. I just wanted to put that out there for anyone who farms mind sources in whirlwind maze. The Killbin enemy is a rarer spawn.
I equiped Yuffi with the conformer and the following materias: Morph+Counter; Morph+Stealaswell,Morph+HP-Absorb;Cove rand HP-Plus.All mastered.
And put in some Enemy Lure for good measure.
Morph and Mega-All in Yuffie's Conformer is great for morphing multiple enemies in the same battle.
Morph glitch can be used for all enemies in the Sunken Gelnika on console, if you pop open the disc tray as Yuffie attacks and your W-Item character has used the first item you are sacrificing, the Source will occupy the vacant slot and the battle wont complete until you close the disc tray. Dupe till you get 99 sources and then close the disc tray, works great for me!
It only works with the PS1 version (and maybe playing that version on a PS2?). Doesn't work for PC or any digital store versions like PS4/5.

You can also get power sources from the triceratops tanks near the Gongaga reactor and guard sources from monsters near the Corel reactor and the screamers on Mount Nibel.
Okay i know this video is pretty old but... you do know that you can simply do this: Let Yuffie or whoever kill an enemy. Quickly let the other character do the double item command. Now when the enemy dies you have a few seconds in which you can use the morph glitch until the victory fanfare comes - even though there are no enemies anymore

There's a tricky, and potentially risky, strategy using the Vices in Midgar (just outside the church) for duping anything they can steal from you. Let one steal something (and if you're lucky, it'll be the Source you want to duplicate), then kill it before it runs away, but set up the dupe before the item gets put back into your inventory. It's tricky, because they run away pretty quickly after stealing, and it's risky because they can steal ANYTHING. That includes your one of a kind gear.
If you're _really_ good, and you get the encounter with two of them, you could Manipulate or Berserk one while trying to use the other for duping.
I have never once been able to do this, but I've seen speedrunners use it for early stat building (well, as early as being able to return there after leaving Midgar, that is).

So my advice for people looking to farm mind sources and want to max their characters is to just get your characters spirit to 170 instead and equip a wizard bracelet. Wizard bracelets have the most materia slots and are probably what you are going to be using if you are maxed out anyway. Plus they give a huge boost to your magic defence. So you actually don’t need to go all the way up to 255 in base spirit to get 255 magic defence.

Hi ! I can help more for spirit sources. You can use HP/MP for you second character, for Yuffie use lot of red mana for make her low. You can kill her for give Phenix down and be back with low hp. Then, you have to change your armor. If you ve got good armor, the monster will more miss attack. THEN, Cloud must be first, Yuffie second and the third character. AND you can give Cover to Cloud for protect other from physical dmg from other monster. On battle, follow this : Attack from Cloud, M. Tentacule from Yuffie (cause he use attack when he low) then give him Ether. Wait for Final Attack Morph and Magie from the third. It's Easy to do 62 Spirit sources without anger. theres an easy spot to find serpents. the gelnika room with the smashed helicopter. the catwalk above the helicopter(as in the right side, the left side is normal encounter). it appears there roughly 1-3 times of ten, comparatively to the 1 of 20 on the main floor.

Serpent is susceptible to level 4 Suicide, (and the sleep part of frog song if you need time to set that up.) That means you can use it twice to get serpent to 1 hp. Then it doesn't matter who uses morph, meaning you don't have to use Conformer and as a result you don't have Yuffie dodging Aqualung. Also, by going from full health to under 1/5th the party's hp in 1 turn it will always AoE on its next available turn (Huge Tidal Wave or Dragon Dance).
Since Dragon Dance is nonelemetal (and only comes out when you're ready for it) you can set the three party members to have the water rings (you steal from them), and Elemental Ice in their armor to absorb all other attacks. This ensures no renegade single-target breath offs your guys, and as a result you can put HPMP on them both to ensure that they never have enough health to survive Dragon Dance while having enough mana to spam quadramagic as many times as you can stomach (or W-Summon Phoenix which would reset them after the battle saving you downtime).

Hey! Just thought I would add my two cents - a simpler way to get magic and spirit sources, using the extended W-item trick of course. I used Cloud + another character for W-item and master magic (to cast Life 1 to dead Yuffie at the start of the battle) for piece of mind, but you can keep the third character dead to increase the chances of Yuffie getting hit by Unknown 3 (Viper casts Aqualung so the fights are quicker).
On Yuffie I had 3 final attack materia with morph, revive and fullcure and two quadra magic with revive and fullcure. You can do it with fewer mastered materia but it will take more battles, minimum requirement is 2x final attack and 1x quadra magic (so, essentially a mastered final attack and a mastered fullcure). Yuffie gets killed quickly (Life 1 at the start of the battle gives her 2400 HP, I usually cast Ice 2 once on her to bring her to

You can also farm power sources from tankasaurus in the ruined reactor in gongaga and guard sources from some creatures outside of Nibelheim reactor
For anyone trying to duplicate magic source and you want to actually put a ties to sleep just use enemy skill Frog song it works every time
An improvement on the magic source duplication in battle arena, have the atb set to wait, use a level 1 counter materia linked with morph. Hover over w-item and wait for one to attack, get ready to use your single item, if the counter occurs then use the item, if not then back out and wait for them to attack again. With this I never had any problem with not getting 99, theres no need to rush. As the counter is low level you have to wait a bit for it to activate but the chances of it going off on the second attack are low if it already went off on the first or it will only go off on the second, both giving you all the time in the world.
Also on atb wait often they won't attack together, meaning there's no chance of ending the battle in those circumstances.
Yuffie with HPMP, Morph-Sneak Attack, Morph-Final Attack.
You can source farm anything in the Gelnika on the PS1 by morphing the enemy, using the W-source glitch, with the lid open. The console retains the memory and doesn't end the fight until you close the lid again.

Little tip, don't make the mistake I made years ago of saving AFTER killing Ruby and Emerald, basically you have god characters and nothing to show them off against. This time around, got upto 255 stats on Cloud Cid and Barrett on my phone, and left R & E still alive, I can take my phone out and kick their fucking arse when I'm on the bus.
