Hi, do you know the name of the batteries you are using? I have the same camera but there is a different battery in mine and I can’t seem to find it anywhere either in stores or online. (Sorry if I double posted this comment)
Hi, the original battery was a px27 which contained mercury and is now banned, it's voltage was 5.6v I now use a 4LR44 or 4 individual SR44 batteries in the camera, voltage is 6v so the meter may be a bit out, doesn't bother me as film has good exposure latitude, adjustment of the ISO/ASA dial can be used to compensate if requires check with a good meter if concerned 4LR44 batteries are readily available, keep us posted on things, very often these camera suffer problems with shutter magnets, best wishes, great cameras with sharp lenses.....
Stay away from Minox. The battery problem was never solved and the electronics are inferior. The Minox was the camera for phony people. Invest your money in a Nikon, Pentax, or similar. Yes, they are bulky and heavy for the home office generation of today ... but a little bit of workout does not harm.
Hi, I like big heavy cameras, the Minox plastic cameras are just a novelty item, agree that an SLR is a far better choice or a rangefinder, plenty of better cameras out there for less money, thanks for sharing....
An amazingly fully-featured camera for its size! Excellent review.
Thanks for your kind words, amazing specification....

What batteries are you using?
Nice little camera! Sometimes the shutter won't cock fully on them. I'll try to remember how to rectify it and let you know.
Much appreciated Ian, I thought it was something to do with magnets??
Worth investigating along with the rest of my "non-runners"...
@@thephotographersbag It can be sticky magnets, but there's another fault where the shutter doesn't cock fully too.
