Satyr being so low is wild to be, it's my favourite myth unit, it's great at killing enemy myth units with its 3x multiplier and the special attack tears through human soldiers. Also if you go hekate and get the 25% attack speed upgrade it becomes a true killer. Definite A tier.
The wiki stats you were looking at were for titan stats, not retold, examples being that valkyrie showed as 5.5 speed when it's 6 in retold and minotaur was listed as costing food when it was changed to gold in retold and had speed differences too. Load up the editor instead and just take the 5 minutes to plop down every myth unit.

Wadjet poison *does* stack - both multiple Wadjets and multiple attacks from the *same* Wadjet (because the poison lasts longer than its attack cooldown) will increase the damage per tick.
@@LowsmithAOM-Retoldyeah . Seen a video... fafnir vs wadjet with balanced ressources. Suprisingly Wadjets won. But in a real game wadjets just get sniped.. i think the fafnir lost for they didnt go close enough to use their poison aoe.
The strongest push back I have is for the cyclops, It is easy to get food for a siege unit early in the match. Having a myth unit that can destroy your temple, barracks or towers with decent speed that early makes the opponent react to whenever brought it forward. So for me, it allows easier expansion of my eco and to learn/dictate what they are building (military) in a way they cannot hide, unless they like a cyclops, one hero and some archers or cav destroying half a base. I would put it at a solid B above anubite. Though I play at a much lower rank than you guys, so maybe that just makes sense hahah.
You may be surprised, but I am also not high rank at all (only climbed to 1200). Playing solo competitively honestly stresses me out lmao. I prefer watching.
Wow, I always thought Fire Giant was an S-tier unit. If you have at least a few of them it can wipe either the frontline or a backline in a single cast

If you base it off of other ranged units, I absolutely believe it is the best ranged myth unit in the game with centaurs coming in second but that's just my opinion. I play a lot of Thor into Ragnarok because it's fun like that dwarf supremacy for the win.

My experience has been a bit different - the AOE feels a bit weak and I've had more luck toggling the auto cast off when raiding. Maybe with 3-4 sphinx you get enough damage that you start killing with the stacked AOE? Typically I have 1-2 in my early raids.
Biggest Problem with Caladria is that if you choose her, you wont have access to something good to heal ... but the unit itself has so fast value ressource wise, its insane heroic Age on or in Team Games , you just needa get there
the more i watch the more i feel like you're ranking the Atlantean myth units based on how you can rush with them instead of how they do as just part of your army. idk how I feel about that.
I feel like youre right, because that's what Mike usually does in our team games. We're definitely skewed in that direction, not to mention the Mythic age Atlantean units are almost never used.
@@LowsmithAOM-Retold yeah i would say with the caveat that I am a noob by comparison (only about 1100) I would put most of the myth unit roster in D tier. i would put satyrs in C tier because they can sit with your archer ball and put in work while not being as vulnerable to cav. and Lampades and Caladria in high A tier. in terms of how much use and value I usually get out of them. i am surprised he gets that much use out of prometheans, even when I'm watched casted games of suppe he doesn't seem to get much value out of them.
@@LowsmithAOM-Retold i also think you guys misunderstood how lampades upgrade works. the chicken and the chaos power are separate abilities with separate cooldown like the caladria heals, with that in mind in army v army fights I had 3 of them make short work of a thor frontline for me.
Automatons really should come as a pair when aging up with leto . Getting a third/half of the value other gods get at age up is a feelsbad . Also flavourwise what is a lone automaton worth?
The fact that Lampades can "Chaos" one unit AND chicken an other unit (human) AND divine damages AND aoe damages on death makes me place them in A tier above mummy
How is behemoth not F tier? Id rather have any giant, boar scarab or even cyclops. High food cost, low hp, damage vs non building, speed and armor(that gets even lower if you are running away).
They're still a good siege 👍 All they really need is more hack armor. Like, come on, they're built like tanks. Just have them be a walking fortress. 30% is laughable.
Where behemoth shines is suprisingly in heroic Age as damage sponges. For their hp rec they are super tanky and they can holt their ground vs most infantery, thats great vs Ai. Problem is that humans just avoid confrontation and raid somewhere else. They leak burst to put pressure on and there will always be some hero. Still thinking that this kind of true tank units may should be allowed to get dont know half damage by hero damage. You could grant them "divine armor" as part or instead of normal one. It also would open up another idea for new myth uniths , talking about idea for other styles of myth unit. Sole Antihero balancing would also be cool.
Still skeptical on Automatons, argument was reaching critical mass but how often do opponents not harass you and let you reach that point? This might just be me used to only watching high level casted games and mid level games are another story.
I think Gorgon, not Medusa is actually A or even S tier. Not only they have 21 range when fully upgrades and have a very useful petrify attack, but also they act very similar to siege units. A group of them destroy buildings very quickly because they have high pierce damage and x4 multiplier tech in myth age, but also they have base crush damage aswell. I agree Mummy is better in fights because aoe poison which spawns minions, but the Mummy does not even close damage to buildings compares to Gorgon.
for the wolves, the issue is thatt hey want to be a harassment and raiding unit... in the mythic age. They are quite good to combine with valkyries to attack enemy economy (the wolves arent too worried by towers and the TC's attacks) and archers/siege, but so is raiding cavalry for the latter two. still, a part of the reasons why Tyr may just be the worst mythic age minor god in the game, especially in 1v1, between the very niche and weak-ish myth unis, low impact god power when its not spammed back to back (especially now that the wolves got nerfed hard on their pierce armor), and one of the two god upgrades being of questionable usefulness
Biggest Problem with the Rock is that there are just arent any maps with solid denied area access, thats what Rock is supposed for and it cant be super fast for it aint a scout. The long there aint closed maps not even islands... imagine Atalante fast Rock but! Los kinda 2 squares would be good
Yeah exactly, thats why despite having the same speed (and a much larger health pool), I still think Pegasus is the better unit (price as a factor), but the Roc does function as a flying scout unit with a solid line of sight

Myth units, god powers, just do a god tier list at this point, taking into account all a god gives would lead to a better overwiev of the decision making in picking a god
Running out of things to rank. Soldiers, heroes, upgrades, and gods/minor gods are probably all that’s left. And naval units I guess, but there’s not much to that.
@LowsmithAOM-Retold you can get the upgrade with freyr I'm pretty sure where hill forts and tcs heal your units so you can pull it back and heal it to prevent that but I get what your saying.

Centaur has been nerfed so hard at this point, I genuinely don't know how we can put it in S tier. The Sphinx special attack and basic attack does more damage, it's way tankier and just as fast with both being upgraded, with both hack and crush damage, cheaper than a centaur, a less dodge able special attack that does more damage for each unit. Centaur has range on the Sphinx at this point, what else?
It just feels so bad you are gifting the opponent the same amount of Gold that they cost every time you lose one. I would love to see the bounty go down 100 gold

I would suggest watching the Mina tour and cyclops segments! Shouldn’t HRM ore than 10 mins for both. Tanks stats, speed, ability to survive a fight, and cost all went into making those decisions

The AOE on villager lines makes it one of the best true raiding units in the game

This is accounting for the full impact of the unit, including gifting your opponent 300 gold (the same amount Fanfir costs to create, plus 25 favor)
