As an AoE veteran and casual IIDE and IIIDE player, you refering to IV as just „AoE“ kinda hurts, come on, II is still at least as popular as IV.

for the wolves, the issue is thatt hey want to be a harassment and raiding unit... in the mythic age. They are quite good to combine with valkyries to attack enemy economy (the wolves arent too worried by towers and the TC's attacks) and archers/siege, but so is raiding cavalry for the latter two. still, a part of the reasons why Tyr may just be the worst mythic age minor god in the game, especially in 1v1, between the very niche and weak-ish myth unis, low impact god power when its not spammed back to back (especially now that the wolves got nerfed hard on their pierce armor), and one of the two god upgrades being of questionable usefulness

I think the Armor of Achilles might give substantially more bonus than it looks. I don't know this for sure, but if it gives additional 5% hack damage resist then that can be around 10-20% buff to HP mitigation. Because if you have 50% hack armor then 5% extra is really cutting down the damage done to you (the damage already reduced by those 50%) by 10%, and if you have 80% before the relic then by adding it, you are cutting down 25% of the damage you receive, so it has more impact. I don't think it is possible, but technically having a 95% resist before the Armor of Achilles would reduce the mitigated damage by 100% because you would not be getting anything. Although that is not really possible in the game. But maybe I am wrong and the it doesn't stack additively.

I believe priests and pharaohs do divine damage to myth units. They do pierce damage only to not myth units. That's why they obliterate behemoths and other pierce resistant myth units

Oh god please mass report the Roc behavior. If Rocs are grounded and you input a move command the Roc will take off, forget your input and just stay there like nothing's happened. I want that issue to be fixed cause rocs where one of my fav myth units and now I hate them 😩

nice rules, finally a draft system that doesn't ban the most popular gods, which it was kinda ridiculous as that's what people wants to see(the most played gods in the ladder) and also the possibility of mirror games. Hopefully this will become the norm.

Great to see an egyptian victory and seeing the phoenix show it's power. A very strong unit that's lots of fun to use. I also agree with the satyr conversation. High B to low A for sure. Saving your favour for chaos and heroizing your units might be the more optimal play, but satyrs just deal so much damage, they're a great unit to play around with. Loved the video guys!

Automatons really should come as a pair when aging up with leto . Getting a third/half of the value other gods get at age up is a feelsbad . Also flavourwise what is a lone automaton worth?
