I would drive it the way it sits , that is a hot rod. Built just like my grandpa built back after WW2 I love looking through his pictures and seeing what he and some of his buddies built with surplus war stuff and a 20$ used car. This is hot rodding. My pops had a garaaage as Chad would say that was incredible. After he was out of the service he started himself a 4 truck trucking business and started buying up machine shop tools from the military surplus sales and from what he learned in the service and trial and error over the years he produced some killer old hotrods and later in life he got into boats. Those days are gone and my uncle sold off almost all pops big tools after he died, he didn't think anyone in the family would want any of the punches presses all sorts of stuff. I was lucky to get his head roller and English wheel also a 6 in tool called the metal worker or something like that that does a bunch of cool things. I am in process of setting up stuff in my newly added on shop so that I can start to teach myself metal work. I have a dream of building my own 50s era roadster from scratch frame body all by my hands and some friends steady as we go. Great job Chad keep the videos coming Jolene
I have only followed BAD CHAD since 2022 so I am a fairly new fan. Thoroughly enjoy viewing all these video presentations that Jolene puts out there for us to view. Love seeing Chad's passion and creativity come alive in all these amazing vehicles that he has handcrafted out of his own imagination, talent and abilities. Keep up on doing what you do best!
Your are correct that is one badass 32 ford. Definitely would be cool to see it in motion. The tri-pack with period correct air cleaners is the perfect match for the old school hotrod look. The old Nailhead V8 should stay under the hood since the hard work of adapting it in is already done along with the rebuilt heads. Very cool build. If Jolene likes to use this car in the future for a nostalgic car race please put a roll cage in it with a proper seat/harness. Very easy to flip a car unexpectedly on it's roof.
Chad although I am home, I was helping you push the 32 off the trailer. I am 69 yrs young, but I hurt my back doing the same thing you did. I took a breather also. Much Respect Sir, enjoy what you do and your Jolene.
I wasn't going to comment on this video, but the more I watched it the more I saw the raw creativity to make things work that was put into this 32. Chad & Jolene you're doing a great job. I can't wait till you get back on the Bugatti!
When I toured the old storage place with Chad and Jolene, the 32 Ford was my favorite of all the cars. Love them all. But this one wanted to come home with me. Jolene told me he would never sell it. What a beauty that car is.
Very nice looking 32 Ford hotrod. Great job getting the truck chassis to work with the body pieces. Be really great if you could find a flathead Ford V8 engine to put in the engine bay. Always love the sound a hopped up flathead Ford V8 makes. You have a very nice car collection. My uncle was also an avid car collector. His preferred cars of choice were vintage 1930 era Packard Automobiles. I helped him restore a rare 1934 Packard Deluxe Phaetom Sedan back to concourse condition. This car is 1 of only 5 known to exist in the world. When we started its matching numbers V12 engine for the first time, my uncle pulled a dime out of his pocket and stood it up on the intake manifold. That dime never moved once while the engine was ideling. When we took the car out on the road for a road test, it was by far the smoothest riding car I ever rode in. Back in the early 70's the car was valued at just over 6 figures easily back then. Not sure what it would be worth today. My uncle did a massive amount of research to restore it back to concourse condition, which included recreating all the various factory inspection paint marks on the car. When my uncle passed away in 1975 from lung cancer at age 64, he had a total of 36 vintage 1930 era Packard Automobiles in his collection, all in various stages of restoration. My aunt still owns those cars to this day and refuses to sell them because they all make her happy.
Hi Chad. Whenever backing up a trailer, hold your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel and move your hand the way you want the trailer to go. Works every time.
Love the 32 ford creation Chad. I see why it’s one of your favorites. It’s so cool that your Queen shares your passion and actually has input. Great job as always Jolene ❣️ Hey Fina❤️
NOW !!! that’s my idea of a Hotrod…guess I’m just a traditionalist, really looking forward to the 40,s matchbox build..like to see that go a little further…the truck conversion..impressive..as are the rest. Always look forward to what’s next. Support to Jim
I really like Jolene's idea of putting the Caddy Flathead in the 32 and racing it instead of the 35 sedan. That flathead at 160 HP would then be the dominator at the drag strip against those Ford flathead V8s at 100 to 120 HP maybe. What a sleeper that would be before they figured it out. It would be a very rare Ford flathead that could make that HP! Stock Ford flathead at max was 100 HP and Mercurys were 110 HP. Go for it Jolene and show them what a flathead Caddy will do! All the best to you both and thanks for the great videos!
I am enjoying seeing your car collection and learning how they were built. Yes i like the 32 ford, i have been a ford nut all my life. Thanks for showing the cars.
I love the fact that Chad and Jolene get the job done, NO matter how they do it, most of the time by themselves 😀, gotta love it, because you never know what's going to be next 🥺🙉🙈
Trailer suggestions: Add some small wood ramps at the back of the deck so the metal ramps don't have that lip that you struggle with to get the tires over. Add some more metal bracing underneath so the deck doesn't fall through. Actual 2*6 deck boards allow water to drain down through the cracks. Paint the deck but ADD SAND! so you don't slip. I'm glad you got your trailer, you really did need one. Good luck in 2023!
That is definitely one bad ass '32!! Love these build stories, as much for the information, as for hearing the pride you have in your work!! Much love to you both!
Hey Chad, I very much like the '32. It's a honest hot rod. You made do with what you had and that was just how it was done in the '50s. Scavaged parts and getting them to work together was the spirit of ingenuity. That's the way I did it in the early '70s. Thanks as always and we'll see you next time.
Chad you are so talented in everything you do. As is Jolene in everything she does also. I love every you tube you guys put up . I never miss an episode I am 75 years young and i cant wait every day for your you tube. All of your builds are so amazing. Keep up all the great work you both do. Would love some day to meet you and Jolene and say hello. Keep up the great work. Thanks for Me to have something to look forward each day. Jerry Davis
So many nice projects. Be nice if in a perfect world they were all finished but not necessary to get the enjoyment of building & having them to look at. Very enjoyable listening to the build story for each one. Thank you!
Hoping you get battery tenders and put fuel stabilizer in each vehicle. Takes some $$ and time to keep a fleet like this going. Don’t want to see them rot over the next decade or two. Love your creations and would really wonder what they would bring at Mecum. Bless you both and good health. We’re aPPE Chad, your to talented to die young and leave Jolene with the fleet. Must respect and love to you both.
Chad and Jolene as far as I go I absolutely love when you talk about each and every car and when you built it and how you built it each Car has its own story they are living books
I see a lot of negative comments when you take a undesirable 4 door car and cut it up to make a desirable coupe or pickup. They say you are destroying a classic car. Well then I think you deserve a lot of praise for putting random scrap pieces together to make a very cool 1932 Roadster. You are the man Chad☮️🇨🇦
I'm an old man and I started buying Hot Rod magazine in 1948. Have always wanted a car similar to this, but it never happened--life got in the way. I understand that Chad looks at this car and he sees different than I see. He says he sees a "32 cowl and grill, two quarter panels off a '28 Ford and doors off from an old Chrysler something which he put together to mimic a hot rod built in the '50's mostly in Calif. I see it as a very good copy of the cars that were appearing in Hot Rod, CarCraft, Honk and other magazines that were published back then. The only thing to truly mimic one of those hot rods would be a nice simple paint job. They weren't using pearls or candies--- just a nice synthetic enamel, possible flames. I would surly like to see this painted. PLEASE!!!
Hey Chad and Jolene, Have you thought about backing the cars at a 45° angle, pointing towards the overhead door? Be easy to back into the spot. Easier to pull out. Most of the engines would be easily accessible. Just a thought.
I have loved the recap videos as well, been a long time and you've done so much since then.also it reminds people how sharp your skills have gotten over the years.very inspiring chad!
I agree. Lots of people like the "rat rods", and that's cool, to each their own. It just never has appealed to me. I like nice and shiny, smooth and cool looks, and great functionality, with performance to match.
Chad and Jolene Love the 32 rat rod roadster. You said you picked up the body for CAD$300.00 ? - Boy o Boy, you would not even get a door for that here in Aus. Old Fords, Chevs and Internationals and Dodges here sell for quite a bit due to the rarity And shipping from the States is now USD$ 8,000 - 10,000 for a 20 Ft container So finding and getting cars from the US or Canada is just not financially sensible right now. You have it so good there due to access and the number of guys who have hoarded paddocks full of old rusty gold. Love the show - Keep it up .
I can imagine living far from everything it would be hard to get stuff unless you are buying it off the web? Like where I live in the California bay area there are a lot of recycle store's that sale just about anything used from auto salvaged yards to second hand store's, old building supplies from home's they dismantle to re-salvage materials and so on. People even through out a lot of good stuff and leave it out on the curve for to be picked up. Some one that is a builder/crafter can repurpose it before it hits the land fill.
Really nice 32 ford and you are right I cant tell if the car was built in the 50s or if it is a recent build. It is the kind of car I'd like to build myself
Mr. Chad, please consider for the hood is to put (4) screws that stick out of the hood and use 4 wingnuts to secure hood . 2 antique side mirrors on the doors would look good. 2 antique rear brake lights.
My favorite part about this build is the ragtop because it's higher in the front and lower in the back. It makes it look like she's hauling ass down the road just sitting there. I would do exactly what you said, give her to a mechanic and allow them to get her running and driving great so you and Jolene can enjoy her. Chad you truly are an amazing artist and Jolene I thank you for bringing Chad into my life.
A lot of comments here so I do not know if this has been said, you might want to block the front wheels on the Suburban when you jack the trailer up like that, you are taking pressure off the rear wheels which means you do not have the holding power as you would with them on the ground, even if the emergency brake is on it only works on the rear wheels
will be building a convertable top for my 37 olds and I love seeing one made from scratch it's why I love your show so many ideas to work from. Respectfully John L Niles Michigan
I love your 32 that you made from scratch soooo cool I have a 31 model A 5 window coupe hot rod my self and I could use it as my daily drive ….GreT job guys and for a video a day my hats off to you two … Keep up the hard work and you shall reap the rewards!!!👍
I have a 1930 model A build that I have been working on since we were married 25 years ago. So maybe I should try and get it together for our celebration on the 3 weekend in June this year. It looks a lot like this one. 239 flathead and 3 speed tower top truck into open driveshaft banjo rear axle . 32 Ford grill. You should bring this one back into the shop once the Bugatti is done maybe put the Caddy motor in. It would be a fun car. The nailhead I am sure you can find a project for. Its cool but the Caddy is more what they would of had in the early fifty's when the boys were returning from the war.
I love the 32, badass car ,so are the rest of the cars you built. I love watching what you do next. Glad to see you bought that trailer, you really need that 👍👍👍👍
There's always something about a 32ford . Hot rod or dream car either way it's a awesome ride . I'd like it to be brought out of retirement and get some TLC but that's a Bad Chad call . Will we see it in the shop in the near future ? Time will tell . Thumbs-up Jolene on your work ethics ! Not too many women like to get grease under their finger nails but you taken it to a whole new level ! Chad keep turning out thhhe art ! It's awesome !
I have been watching for a long time and I have not seen this car. Looking forward to seeing what else you have hidden in the collection. Thanks for sharing
The reason I say that is we have boats and I’ve sat and watch people back up boats the wrong way so many times for years I actually had to go help them
Awesome morning brother and little sister coming together very well !!! Great to see yall getting organized in the new shop !!! Yall stay safe keep up the awesome progress !!!!
If that was my rig, I'd grab a pair of accessory mirrors, like if I was pulling a camper with 15:21 my suv. I might even try to make 12:25 room inside so I could drive in and turn around. If I was anxious and busy enough in bad weather, to consider installing another overhead door, so I could drive in one door, drive out the other, that would be cool ... 10:56
I dig the 32 Chad. Moss Motors really does have some cool deals! I'm restoring a 1959 MGA for my old buddy. Everything you need shows up in 2 days and it's cheap to me. Take it it easy friends. See you if I ever make it to your neck of the woods!
Hand on bottom of steering wheel , trailer right move wheel to the right , use mirrors , back up slowly , hand to powleft to steer trailer. No problem no quick or fast moves , easy to do , power steering really helps ! Practice makes perfect 👌
I watched the video of you loading the Wine Art car and it was so painful to watch you struggle working at getting that car on the trailer. I also read some great comments about rasing the front of the trailer to help straighten the incline when loading and unloading. Looking at your ramps they are curved so much the wrong way probably from heavy loads from the guy you got it from, that they also hamper loading. The ramps need to be curved up to help lift the back of the vehicle giving you better clearance as it starts the transition onto the trailer. I looks like you could cut the front mounts off your ramps, flip them over (the ramps) re-weld the mounts where they need to be then put some expanded metal back on. Your ramps will facilitate a much easier and smoother loading experience. Both of my trailers came with "bowed ramps" and I have no problem getting my lowest car on the trailers. I just recently found your channel and its great to see you and Jolene building cars again. I had wondered what happened to you and i can see it's for the better, keep up the great creativity and content.
Chad, I wrote a note to Jay Leno. He asked me if he could use my statement, on another one of his web sights. I was floored ! Sure you can..! Jay is more than happy to spend some time with me . Do you think you could look him up in your spare time ? I'm sure that he would be interested in you , your statements, and your fine hardware ! I was surprised at how polite he was..!
Chad being a welder and fabricator you would think that misalignment of the ramps and the trailer bed might be a priority to fix so that the non operable cars are not a major pain to unload. Just a thought.
@Bo Duke Hi. I've seen a couple of those home built Model T tractors, they're pretty neat to check out. Back then, the folks that built them, were all about the utility factor. Some of those guys would have been very good fabricators, building all kinds of stuff.
You were lucky to find that trailer, it looks very useful. This car is also beautiful, a real old school. 😎👍 I think it would also look good with a pair of rear fenders, maybe salvaged from some junkyard...
I would drive it the way it sits , that is a hot rod. Built just like my grandpa built back after WW2 I love looking through his pictures and seeing what he and some of his buddies built with surplus war stuff and a 20$ used car. This is hot rodding. Too bad your uncle wasn't concerned about keeping the equipment. It would have been a legacy.
He says he built it for cheap but the skill that he has and it takes to build that car is priceless
Spot on right there!
I have only followed BAD CHAD since 2022 so I am a fairly new fan. Thoroughly enjoy viewing all these video presentations that Jolene puts out there for us to view. Why such a small door for a huge shop ??? Makes no sense
Nothing more satisfying than building something from scraps, random parts and your sweat. Good job...
I really like Jolene's idea of putting the Caddy Flathead in the 32 and racing it instead of the 35 sedan. Oh man. Must be awesome to have that shop with that lighting and your life's work. Nice job you 2.
Hoping you get battery tenders and put fuel stabilizer in each vehicle. Takes some $$ and time to keep a fleet like this going. Don’t want to see them rot over the next decade or two. I have loved the recap videos as well, been a long time and you've done so much since then.also it reminds people how sharp your skills have gotten over the years.very inspiring chad!
you need to flip the tires and put the whitewalls out so you can see them . this is a great looking car , i would leave the nailhead buick in it .
What I love about the channel is bad chad and jolene the people, there real and bring positive energy out to the world!...
I love those nail head motors, those heads that are straight up. I owned 3- 401's and 2 425 nail heads. Strong motors and torque monsters!!!
The ford deserves to be brought back with a nice paint job & fresh upholstery
I agree. Lots of people like the "rat rods", and that's cool, to each their own. It just never has appealed to me. I like nice and shiny, smooth and cool looks, and great functionality, with performance to match.

Love the 32 rat rod roadster.
You said you picked up the body for CAD$300.00 ? - Boy o Boy, you would not even get a door for that here in Aus.
Old Fords, Chevs and Internationals and Dodges here sell for quite a bit due to the rarity
And shipping from the States is now USD$ 8,000 - 10,000 for a 20 Ft container
So finding and getting cars from the US or Canada is just not financially sensible right now.
You have it so good there due to access and the number of guys who have hoarded paddocks full of old rusty gold.
Love the show - Keep it up .
Damn Chad and Jolene. That 32 is sweet! Love your cars and skills. Keep it up folks!
Sick dude.. I'm a proud tri power Duntov Model A Coupe builder/owner. Drove 'er 1200 miles to VLV a few years ago & got my picture in 'Ol Skool Rodz😁
You really need to straighten those trailer ramps . Gotta love a 322 nail head
Another cool piece of hand crafted art work. 🎨
I can imagine living far from everything it would be hard to get stuff unless you are buying it off the web?

I really enjoy hearing about the history of the car/build. Good going guys. 🤗
I love that 32 it is super cool thanks for the walk- about I enjoy the story of the build great job you two

I think just the opposite. Middle 2 bows need to be higher so that window opening is level or slightly going downhill toward the windshield.
Man, what a shop! You are living the dream!
Love the racoon tail, that's a true blue hot rod ! Ontario fan
The idea that this is one of your favorite cars speaks volumes!
As for that screw-down bonnet, you can weld washers onto the screw heads to convert them into wingnuts - no screwdriver required.
Love the 32. Like to see more built on those looks and budget. Like the hot wheels car your building to. Love to see it back. Love the show.
Fun to see your early work. Thanks!!
LOVE this car! Takes me back to a gentler time
Another great build brought to it's new home, love these videos ,thanks for sharing
Exactly right chad....its Badazzzzzz...and what you brought it back from to this cool hotrod is awesome...see you 2 tomorrow

Thanks you guys.
Sweet build thanks for showing this car….Nice, great camera work!!!
That is really a cool looking old school looking 32 GREAT JOB !!!!
That is a cool car I enjoyed watching the build.
You have an awesome collection of hand built cars, Chad. I'm jealous
will be building a convertable top for my 37 olds and I love seeing one made from scratch it's why I love your show so many ideas to work from. Respectfully John L Niles Michigan
I love this car. I need to find that video. I'm not a bug fan of those but that car just hits home
I normally like shiny stuff, but MAN THATS COOL!, Awesome!
Love everything you two do, can't wait for the other cars get done.
Don’t hold your breath
Nice build!👍
Love the little red tail lite. Really cool car.
That is one bad looking ride. One of a kind. You are the best Bad Chad. Keep up the good work.
Love the vision you have and the fact that you go for it, am I envious, you bet ya!
Love the 32 Ford. Parts of me would love to see it under mud, blocked, primed, and painted!!!!
Great fun watching you play with your collection....it will be so nice to have it right there in your door yard.
Wow, your '32 is totally awesome looking! Tastefully done!
I have been watching for a long time and I have not seen this car. Looking forward to seeing what else you have hidden in the collection. Thanks for sharing
The reason I say that is we have boats and I’ve sat and watch people back up boats the wrong way so many times for years I actually had to go help them
The new shop is looking better everyday with all the artwork
Glad to see that you are getting your cars under one roof., easier to take care of and keep an eye on..
As long as you like it Chad, then that's all that matters 👍
If it was my trailer I'd make wider ramps to accommodate more car widths. Also a place below to keep the ramps.
I dig the 32 Chad. Moss Motors really does have some cool deals! I'm restoring a 1959 MGA for my old buddy. Everything you need shows up in 2 days and it's cheap to me. Take it it easy friends. See you if I ever make it to your neck of the woods!
I really like that car. A lot of work went into that and thought.
It’s great to see the car’s they all look amazing well done Chad 👍👍
Old school hot rod looks great!
MAN!!!! I luv it even more after the tour…bet it’s a BLAST to drive!!!!
This buy far my most favorite build of chads an jolines. Love it brother. Old school is the only school!!!!
Glad to see the trailer is coming in handy to move the vehicles to the new building. I'm just curious what's hiding under the car cover.
Looks like a corvette.
deffo a vette
Absolut Amazing 1932 Hotrod !!! Incredible Work "Bad Chad" :::: Incredible Video Job as always "Queen Jolene" Great stuff Guys !!
Hand on bottom of steering wheel , trailer right move wheel to the right , use mirrors , back up slowly , hand to powleft to steer trailer. No problem no quick or fast moves , easy to do , power steering really helps ! Practice makes perfect 👌
Love the Ford. It's a nice period piece. Thanks for showing us.
Just a thought.
seems like if you mount an electric leveler from an rv to the front of the trailer would make life a lot easier loading and unloading?
Beautiful display building.
One of my favourites in the collection
Growing up, we had a model t turned into a tractor, and my dad called it a doodle bug. 😊
I think it would also look good with a pair of rear fenders, maybe salvaged from some junkyard...
Chad is amazing I love how he describes all the pecieses and how he made them into what he needs . God bless
