I think Plo Kuhn flew the LAAT By himself because if he really came to save those troopers why would he send the same number of clones if not more to their deaths just to save them. I think master Plo is smarter then that!
The red one should be called mule, because he's stubborn as a mule. The blue arc can be called, "Checkmate" in reference to chess. Because he seems like the calculated thinker type. Most people would call him, "check" or more popularly, "checks." As saying checkmate in the heat of battle is kinda... Un-needed. Not to mention slightly pretentious. xD
Dave Filoni would like if not love this video and tale, we would all admit. Also, in my opinion, Plo Koon's breather's vocal speaker was damaged when the gunship got hit, hence the odd language moments. Oh, and the gunship might have only carried him.

The amount of clones plo koon saved and made sure they were safe is astounding, I just wished they wouldn’t have killed him
It's kinda sad knowing that some Jedi treated cloned with respect and during order 66 the clones slaughterd the jedi with no sympathy
