I'm conflicted. He seems like his attitude didnt belong in a squad or legion. That behavior could've caused lots of his brothers to die. They should've placed him in a solo unit or something.

Amazing how this battle is similar to The Battle of Endor in The Return of the Jedi. Both had a space mission to destroy an enemy superweapon, which were mistaken to be "not operational" and we're protected by an energy shield based on a nearby moon. Both had ground forces with a mission to take out the said energy shield generator so their space forces could take out the target superweapon. Both missions were successful and suffered heavy losses in different ways, but the Rebels successfully taking out TWO enemy superweapons: the main target, the second Death Star and the bonus secondary, the Super Star Destroyer. Still, a very interesting Star Wars story!!!

Shooter was just too based to live, more like an ace combat character than a star wars one -saves his commander who then proceeds to act like an angry beta instead of handling the banter and playing him off -was just bred to die on the battlefield so might as well have a little bit of fun and treat it all like a game -probably knew his brothers didn't like him but didn't hesitate for a second to sacrifice himself and save his brothers/commander. what an absolute legend.
Not really true since by the time of the empire pre era clone wars technology was considered old and newer imperial technology was the newest thing by that timeframe so just all depends

When you look at the close-up look of Anakin’s ship in the comic you’ll see the center is also the same center as the TIE fighters’ and Darth Vader’s TIE advanced so maybe the center of Anakin’s ship could’ve been a inspiration for the TIE fighters’s and the TIE advanced’s center also.

If I was Anakin I would've made that clone sit out the mission for his comment. There is no place for people like that in a military where all your brothers are depending on eachother to survive. Maybe he can be suited to go on a solo missions, but he is not a team player and that makes him a bad clone.
I would lean more towards following orders, but never blindly, so between the two I'm more of a Coric but both extremes annoy me. But Shooter just pisses me off. Brave and Loyal? Yeah, of course. Doesn't change his attitude.
