Oh how miss my 08! Full Muzzy exhaust , ECU flash and that notorious valve cover gasket leak fix. 200 mph plus! I had no problem on week long adventures.
They have there air splitting and your right on long trips, so much more comfortable, they have in the range from 7 thousand rpm in 2nd onwood, you have to hang on, I'm hearing that zx14s Japan is no longer building them, because they have a total new bike coming out, A ZX1500R turbocharged bike, there's a review for this bike, they are using the technology from there jet ski that uses 1500 turbocharger and putting this on a bike frame as zx14. I cant wait myself. Iv love my as on all levels, iv had bikes all my life, this is the best one iv owned. Enjoy
Man it doesn't need a tre just pull those secondary butterflies get a tune let the boar hog eat. The brocks exhaust is the best street exhaust....by the way that bike is skipping like crazy. I have the 2006 zx14 so I'm biased to the kaw. I've put zx10 wheels on it , brocks alien head full exhaust, sprint race filter , ceramic bearings , sprocket changes , lowered and a 4 inch stretch for Mexican streets lol , upgraded brake lines , sticky tires a custom cut down seat ( I'm an upholster by trade )... zx14 are excellent machines
I have a 2011 , I adore it so much I drive all weather . I'm only 5'7" and it's no bother . 100moh in the rain , no stress 😎♥️♥️

That shit isn't real no way they would allow such a big displacement and turbo charged engine on the road Euro 5 emissions it's unrealistic

What sprocket set up did you go with? I have an 06 too and am looking for mod recommendations

Nope. I’m 1.72 meters tall and 57 yrs old. Just got a 2009 special edition ZX 14 and I love it.
I had a lot of bike in my life also, one of my favorite bike was the Honda CBR 1100xx Blackbird i'm sure this bike will eat that easlily!
