In 1987, I was a 17 year old man, working my first year in a metal industry factory in North Fitzroy, here in Melbourne, Australia, when this first played on Radio. Heard it again on Radio in Sydney, when on Summer Holidays there. And I know why this song rated so highly, especially here in Australia, at the time: the great antidote soundtrack for those who'd ever lost out in love.
