Dear Lesley! I love your videos - particularly the respect you show! And in that point, I would like to ask of you one particular favour regarding all of the beautiful pianos you discover, and ask thIamat you would always close the lids over the keys and put the lids down in the future? Please, please, please? I would hope that one day at least some of these beauties will be rescued and restored (mine is more than 140 years old, and although it cost many thousands of dollars to achieve it, it has been restored to perfection! ) and by leaving them closed you would really be helping to at least make restoration a possibility for these beauties ... It breaks my heart to see them just deteriorating like this, but like my own, SOMEONE would love to restore them to their original condition so they once again be played by someone who really knows how - one day. One can only hope! And you can help make that happen just by closing the lids over the keys and the strings. Thank you so much : ) and keep up your wonderful work. Kindest and most sincere regaŕđs, J. Whiteoak.
Hello les i enjoyed so much you watch your channel, i do loved antiques and mansion. Always wear your gloves and face mask for your protection…more power.
Hi my dear friend Lesley, I was just on my way going to bed, and when I wanted to switch off the computer, I saw your notification. What an unexpected surprise to watch a video from Bros of Decay at night time in the middle of the week, half an hour before midnight!! - Wonderful! I fully agree to you, that it seems to be a mystery, what made the owners of this house leaving their home just behind - abandoned. When I was following you through all these rooms, you were showing, I had somehow the impression of quite a strange vibe in this house. Did you also feel something there? - Some of the rooms really were just bland but well kept, and then I found it again quite a strange contrast to see the heavily messed up room, which smelled so bad as you experienced it. This interesting piece of furniture with the decorative features was probably from the art nouveau period. I of course liked most that still beautiful living room with the nice and intact upright piano, which still seemed to be in a surprisingly good condition and naturally the beautiful tapestry on the wall over the sideboard. The chimney was as well remarkable. - Very cool and amazing explore, bro! I enjoyed watching. - Even the architecture had something very special with these arches. - Now I really hope to see you soon as my guest. Stay safe, peace and much love. - Kindest regards to you and your dear brother Jordy, whom I really missed seeing in your video.
Hi there Really liked this one. It's really a shame for homes like this are left to fall apart. My favorite thing is that fier place in the dining room. Also I think a raccoon lives in it. That's what it sounded like to me anyway. That may explain the smell in the yucky room down the hall. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home!
😉 Hello Leslie ! Glad to see you again on your channel ! This little DOGHOUSE is not a cabin for children ! lol The children would have to be very small for playing in it ! You are adorable ! And your little mistakes always make me smiling ! I love ! 💖😊
What an amazing place! I loved some of the antiques. Definitely a lot bigger inside, than it looked outside! I love how you respect the people who lived in these houses. 💜
Hi Leslie another timeless piece, gave me a old Manor come stable vibe. Especially the architecture plus the arches. Definitely France. The hat gave the Country. Empty 20years. Loved the dinning room, especially the paintings. Beautiful art work. Would loved to know a bit more about the paintings. Plus the long table. Definitely gave a middle century of 17 th century.. The woods outside the property, will just take over the timeless piece. Thankyou always. Plus so interesting. 👍🤔🤔🤔💯
Loved this beautiful property! Such a great story of this family! Sad that the beautiful antique wooden furniture isn’t restored & saved! Sooo many memories 🙏 Sad that the priceless, one of a kind pictures aren’t saved by family members 😞 Thank you Leslie, for sharing this epic story! I loved it ❤️
Wow! What a house! And to find such a gem in the middle of a forest?! A once in a lifetime find. The house itself looked pristine with no vandalism, etc. Hard to believe. Great exploration, Lesley! Thanks for posting.
I noticed when I lived and traveled Europe very many years ago that even when going outside to garden, feed the animals etc. that men dressed "properly" wearing a suit coat. I suppose that is why the man had so many nice suit coats. I love how in these old homes if there is a television it is just randomly against a wall in a not often used room or in what we would consider an odd place. Today it s the main focus in a living room and TV is even in every bedroom, the kitchen etc. The tapestry over the fireplace is beautiful!
Standard homes are fun to see also, sewing machine, children drawings, and the hat, at beginning going thru the forest was nice, keep your friends near on your adventures, Love you all
You are so lucky to be able to go to these places and experience these beautiful antiques and wonders! I am also a old soul and I cherish these things. ❤️
The little house outside the yard is not a playing house I think it is a kennel maybe they a a pet dog, nice to see your video during the week and of course as usual nice find
Hello, I really enjoyed that. I feel that the picture in the ceramic frame was showing 4 generations in one photo. Great-grandma, Grandma, Mum, and the baby. I say this because we have a similar picture that was taken in 1994.Lots of little gems in there. I always wonder why places get abandoned. Sending love from Australia.
I love these kind of homes! I have memory loss because of an accident at my work. But i notice some things in your video's trigger memories...! Your videos are not only beautiful but a big help aswell ❤️ Thanks

What a truly fabulous place! 😍The treadle Singer sewing machine is amazing, I have a Pfaff treadle sewing machine from 1927, mine is a gorgeous old girl 💖

The kitchen seems so clean…. At least compare to a lot of places….over 50% have sewing machines…neat scale…. Nice to see no graffiti/vandalism…. Great bathroom. Amazing the clothes that have been left…. Christian family…. This is a lg house…. What a mural…. Beautiful buffet cabinet…. Unique corner bench…, thanks for a lovely explore
I think your poltergeist was probably a squirrel in the attic who got startled when you approached. And maybe the bad smell in one of the rooms was from an animal that got in and couldn’t find its way out and died there. I wonder why there was toilet paper everywhere! Always interesting to wander through these abandoned homes!

I’ve never heard a squirrel make that sound. If it was, it was a mutant one. Sounded to me like maybe a raccoon. Do they have raccoons in France?
I was wondering about the toilet paper too?

Yes. It sounded like a squirrel or raccoon scratching to get out when it heard movement and saw the light.

2:33 as he's walking in the house. Look straight ahead, chair moves.
@@PabloTrick That's no poltergeist, that's his friend moving a camera tripod.
I see someone's foot and cane when he walks through the door. My husband and I kept playing it over.
@@PabloTrick that's William and he's moving the tripod so he gets out of the way. My presumption was the poltergeist was the critter in the attic as Leslie says he heard the sounds and went downstairs to get his mates as that would be pretty spooky!
It's probably very hot in those abandoned houses.
Fantastic explore 👍🏻👍🏻
Beautiful corner chair cabinet
A beautiful house in its time. I really liked the video. Greetings from Costa Rica.
There is great sadness in many of these and this is one of them.
You knocked 3 times and then 3 times more and when you opened the door we saw a figure ducking back with a walking stick back in the hall. WOW!

It's magic to follow you in these discoveries ! I have the impression to play of "treasure hunt" 😊👍
