Hey man dumb question here. I’m just getting into figuring out a motor. I picked up a 5.3 from a friend. It was running when he pulled it. When I got it home I could turn the crank bolt about a quarter turn but then it wouldn’t budge. This is with everything still connected(belt, accessories, alternator, spark plugs flywheel, torque converter, ect…) just the engine on a pellet. I just want to see if it in fact still a good motor? My question is that normal? Do I need to pull all the accessories and plug to get it to turn? Sorry I know it’s a silly question but I’m a novice

I have pulled over 20 LS based engines from my local pull a part. Mostly the bottom end 6.0L blocks, if they spin they win. I find 799/243 heads for the 6.0L separately off 5.3L engines and pulled a LQ9 last week from an 03 Escalade, has super clean cylinders and rotates like smooth butter. Cost $203

What size pipe in fitting did you use

What ECM did you use? Who did the programing?

And this allows tac and rpm and coolant gauge to work on any chassis u use?

How did you get the fuel pump on a different chassis to work with that stock fuse block

It’s a bit odd question but any chance l can get your email l would ask couple questions or have you got instagram channel aswell??

And when you order your ebay harness it comes with a different diagram that does not match 100% to the harness you received. And when you contact the seller they cant answer your question.

Hello guys I have 2010 GMC Yukon Denali I already replaced the both valve covers And the both houses and I’m still have the same issue ! It’s anybody have idea? What should I do next?
