We have noticed that it must be Mango season again, they are being sold on every street corner. That fact alone should be reason enough to make another review on Indian mangoes as I have yet to be disappointed by them. Still I am on a hunt for the best mangoes in the world but I am not sure if I have succeeded yet... there are so many good ones. In Madurai we have seen many mangoes, so let´s try some of those, the old lady seller in the street sells me the best kind - but are they really the best?

Yes, these are Baiganpalli (another way to pronounce 😅) mangoes for sure.
MALGOVA Mangoes have a distinct aroma and are light green in colour even in their ripe state. Try them sometime please, they are delightful.
BADAMI mangoes are golden yellow and absolutely sweet, a very near cousin to Alphonso and just as good. Karnataka is full of them and I am not sure whereall in India it is found. I am sure in a lot of places.
One fun fact here is that a variety found in Bengal - LANGDA that is both sweet and aromatic is absolutely dark green even in it's ripest format. I saw these mangoes lying right next to Himsagar when you were buying them in Kolkata. Do try them sometime.
More than a thousand varieties of mangoes are grown in India, we just get to know and taste a few!! Phew😅

I admire Vincent's attitude that he didn't rush to ask for the mango you're eating. Instead, he waited patiently while doing his own things until you called him if he wanted to eat a mango. Vincent has been a cool kid and a cute boy as well.

As a mango lover , I must say this is a very sweet variety of mango. One tip to eat mango. Before consuming, keep the mango in a full vessel of water for atleast 2/3 hours. Because mango is heat fruit, it produces heat. And also if any pestiside is there will also washed away . Otherwise diarrhoea happens. Nothing can beat Indian mango,King of fruits. mango, rich in antioxidants. Try Mallika, Neelam Ratnagiri alpanzo also. Use spoon to scoop it out, hand and mouth wont be messy. Enjoy!

I had to clutch on to whatever of the lunch I could prevent from being carried away while the chairs and tables fell like somebody shot and dragged and slid about in the floor. These mangoes are big in size tangy and sweet little bit of lemon flavour to it . These mango skin is little thick compair to other mango . Due to thick skin it survived the hot temperature 😂❤. I am from odisha and i have a mango farm in my village so i know it. India produce 50 % of mango in the world but we export 1% of our production because we consume it . On the rooftop at 0:40 that is usually an indication of an elevator, and sure enough a few moments later you are going down without the aid of the staircase 😂
When you see tall building like that its a good indication as to the stair/lift status, its the bulkhead at the yop of a lift shaft where the mechanical bits and pieces do their thing.

The mango selling lady did not try to deceive you.

one of the easiest ways to eat the Mango after you made the first cut of the mango (it is like a sliced off puffy face cheek), take a spoon and like ice cream scoop out and enjoy. Your hands and mouth wont be messy.
