Hi Mike! Nice paint job! I wanted to know if you installed that metal screen yourself. If so, was it difficult. I would like to do my wrought iron gate.

I didn't do this one but have done many before. It is not difficult. The sheets are usually sold in 3'x5' screens and screw in with self-tapping screws. Be careful though-if you have to cut it, it is razor sharp so wear gloves and protect your pet!

I used a small nail, but you can use anything small and pointed.

Mine was very atomized and so there was to overspray, but I use the cardboard to protect the surround areas

That was great, but you didn't show how to pop the screen out and replace it.

Gillian Culff Actually I did not remove the screen, I only poked out the overspray from a previous paint job. If you want to remove the screen it’s held in place with a series of screws around the perimeter of the gate. Usually takes a small nut driver to remove them!

Nope! You can add more coats if you like but a clear sealer is not necessary
