Fun Fact: The team’s animations change slightly based on who ate what kind of food at Camp. For example: When Gladio eats a dish he favors, his moves get additional animations and does more damage. Furthermore, the color move name changes to yellow I think. An another example is when Gladio uses Dawnhammer, he does a flip instead of a regular jump.
Not quite: each technique has a chance to be basically a critical hit, and each technique has a different chance of doing it. If you eat a party member's preferred food, it raises that chance to 100%, but it can still happen in combat without eating food. Prompto's single shot, for example, when leveled up to maximum, is always a critical technique and always plays the special animation, without needing food for it.

Great video, but unfortunately you didn't include the critical versions of their techniques, where a small cinematic happened for a second before they do a different version of the animations. Also, the command box where the names of their techniques are in will be gold instead of green to indicate which version will be used. Aranea and Cor has critical versions of their techniques too, but I don't remember if Iris has any. If I remembered right, if you ate a meal where one of the icons of the boys are cheering, that means that's a favorite dish and they'll always have critical versions of their attacks as long as the effects last, but I might be wrong on the last part.

im honestly so dissapointed that ff16 doesnt even have stuff like this or any form of partner interaction. i know most of the game you dont have a companion, but you do also have some for pretty decent stretches of the game, especially if you do all the side quests first before progressing the main story. I can genuinely understand the lack of a traditional party system but you have like 0 interaction with "party members" despite them being added and removed through the story and even showing up in the UI. Torgal is the only one you can actually have help and interact with, but nobody else. Would have been cool to see Clive and Julia (or others, dont wan to spoil) do a combo attack periodically
When they add Founder King's Sigil, it is the time for Noct to actually has a proper Limit Break. All the additions in Royal Edition or window edition should've been there in the first place.
Could we get an 1 hour long video of just following the boys on a road trip whilst enjoying the beautiful scenery and music? This game aged so beautifully.
@Brian-ti7xm Indeed, I would go so far as to say Dissidia NT was downright bad. Terrible story with retcons that just make things worse, gameplay so unresponsive it's practically turn-based, and if I said less about the customization there wouldn't be anything to say at all. Though it has a place in my heart for the potential, and I often wish it had been a good enough game to deserve to have survived its DLC cycle.
how did you get iris and aranea ??? i thought all known tricks to recruit them are forbid after patch. how do you even make those npc monsters stands still ?
They just need to remaster ff15 to ps5 and add certain feautures like: 1. Being able to use more than one abilities for each party member during battle. 2. Revamp magic system -> the spell crafting has potential if they could add more variety of spells, especially the utility ones. Kingsglaive and the MMO showed more diverse abilities than the base game. 3. Increase game difficulty and rebalance. 4. Revamp item system. Item shouldn’t be spammable and should consume ATB like abilities. Another way is to limit the amount of consumables per battle 5. Late game is just potion spam which isn’t fun, they could reblance enemy damage and enemy mechanics. 6. Ring of the Lucii abilities should be useable after you acquired it, not bound to your equipment slots.
putting aside the non-English voices, thank for the video. it is tough finding a video that shows the character's personal skills ( like the dual wield technique).
Im debating buying this game bc its on sale but I think ill pass. Honestly the only ff game i enjoyed playing was 2012 dissidia. The ff7 remake is decent but i was expecting a cleaned up game more like advent children × 2012 dissidia as cloud increased his abilities. Just seems like final fantasy is wayyyyyyy to random with the monsters and wizard stuff. I see they wanted to make it a awesome anime action game, but then went for dungeons n dragons instead. Idk. Its so weird, bc ff7 is MOSTLY phenomenal and has always been super iconic. Yet, we have never seen them do the games justice by focusing on non random enemies / great gameplay comparable to tenkaichi and dmc 5 like 2012 dissidia accomplished.
honestly FF XV is a blast, it is amazing, the characters, lore, combat, tjhe dungeons are another thing, the music, this game is one of my fav FF along with XIV, Tactics, IX and VI, I also loved Strangers of Paradise and I am eager to play XVI, I just need time. Also FF VII remake was hidious, this game is a million times better.
Huh? I didn't play the game because I thought it was just a bunch of guys. I didn't realise two maidens joined at some point. No spoiler, but are they permanently available? I only played the multiplayer version. No maidens in the active party, I think, but it was fun and maybe had an enjoyable enough rest and recovery area. I don't recall well. I clicked on this thinking it was for FF14, I may have never realised there were active females in the party at some point.
This game without its crazy development and had they not split the game up into different medias, it would have been at rebirth level already
FF7 Rebirth was a commercial failure, so I dont think it was that good lol

This game deserved the remaster more than Last of Us and Horizon: Zero Dawn. Square Enix has every opportunity to re-add the cancelled DLCs.
sometimes SE is plain dumb...so...yea
WHAT canceled dlc?
The last of us part 1 was a remake, NOT a remaster. The remaster was bad bc the first last of us game played so bad for its time... came out outdated.
Btw, it did get a free remaster already. Went from 30fps at 1080p to 60fps in 4k.
