You can also use some of these abilities in the air like Titan’s Upheaval.
Ramuh’s Lightning Rod is more effective when struck by your enemies instead, increasing stagger damage and area of effect.
Not shown here (since it’s not really part of Clive’s moveset) is a special accessory known as the Berserker Ring that modifies your Precision Dodge to temporarily enable LB attacks (though without the benefits of actual LB, like healing per hit).
I just wished they had fleshed out Ifrit's moveset more. Give him more than just two moves and make him more distinct from Phoenix. They could've given Clive some of the attacks used by the Infernal Shadow boss along with Hellfire as a finisher.

To be fair, Odin's been doing Judgement Cut since the 90s. Judgement Cut stole from Zantetsuken.

Nice, I had no idea there was actually a channel dedicated to move-sets from games (and not half assing it by only doing half the moves, or only the flashy special moves, but also the basic ones)
Great video. But I really wish you included all the abilities along with their upgraded->Mastered versions. Also showing the differences between the base and the mastered versions from the abilities tab.
Mastered version is no different from upgraded version, AFAIK

Aside from Leviathan, one summon that I think would be perfect for future DLC is Knights of the Round. Mostly because I like to imagine their gameplay would involve summoned weapons like Vergil's.
That would be straight up Noctis
With the difference that Clive won't lose HP every time he uses them.
Gilgamesh also fits that skillset
Bahamuts Megaflare is identical to DMC2 Lucia's ultimate DT move "Seraphic Rain", where she showers balls of light.
Also all the Eikons mirror all the basic Style actions of the dmc series and even share the circle button:
Phoenix Shift (Phoenix) = Dark Slayer - Air Trick;
Deadly embrache (Garuda) = Snatch;
Blind Justice (Ramuh) = Gunslinger - Multi Lock;
Titanic Block (Titan) = Royal Guard - Royal Block+Eryx combo 1;
Arms of Darkness (Odin) = Swordmaster/Dark Slayer (DMC4 Dante);
Cold Snap (Shiva) = Trickster - Dash;
Wings of Light (Bahamut) = Air Raid+Seraphic rain (DMC2);
*And last but not least*
Limit Break (Ifrit) = Devil Trigger.
Development team is really love Devil May Cry so much
The combat designer is the same guy from DMC 5. He recicled A LOT of movements from it.

I don't know if anyone has told you this yet, but sentinels can be used while charging megaflare. It's also written in small print in the skills menu. Sentinels is underrated, but actually with its 120 hits, it takes away a lot of stagger

Which Eikon would you like to be a Dominant for? I’m torn between Ifrit and Odin.
I think all are cool, but for me Phoniex or Odin (Phoenix bc I love his recover ability - Odin bc I love Horses so I want one).
Im just thinking of practical everyday things as an Eikon 😅 but Garuda or Phoenix would be my choice. Garuda bc i can grab most things from where im sitting without having to get up. Phoenix bc i can shift to a new position (so mini teleportation) and also heal myself if i get hurt 😂
Hi mart, cool choice you have there. For me I'd choose to be Ramuh's dominant, I like Cid's fighting styles in the game, too bad its skills are not combo friendly.

You did an amazing job. But I've learned each eikon gives you a different elemental spell.
Ifrit and Pheonix: Fire, Fira, and Firaga (which you already did (minus Firaga)).
Shiva: Blizzard, Blizzara, and Blizzaga.
Ramuh: Thunder, Thundara, and Thundaga.
Titan: Stone, Stonra, and Stonga.
Garuda: Aero, Aerora, and Aeroga.
Bahamut: Dia, Diara, and Diaga.
Odin: Dark, Darkra, and Darkga.
So you did the fire spells.
But there were ice, thunder, earth, wind, light, and dark spells as well.
You can do it in another video once the DLCs come out. But I'm not forcing you to do nothing.
how do you get the aga portion of the spells?
@@darkwarrior5149 I don't know. I haven't really used the spells all that much to figure out. I stuck with the Eikon abilities
@darkwarrior5149 Mainly because who needs spells when you got the Wings of Pheonix, the Talons of Garuda, the Fists of Titan, the Scepter of Ramuh, the Mantle of Shiva, the Breath of Bahamut, and the Sword and Spear of Odin? As for the other two who should be in the DLC (I'm not saying they are, but I want them to be), I wanna see the Tail of Leviathan and the Arms (weapons) of Alexander. (Unrelated but we need a water and a holy eikon)
What about fury from the Darksiders 3 saga? It is the last of the franchise that remains to be demonstrated 🔥🔥🎉

Dante, of course! Simply because he has more basic attacks! And Dante has more moves in general!

I actually wanted to do a clean showcase of Ifrit moves, but it's currently not possible due to it can't be used outside a real battle. About FF15 moveset, I do have plan for it.

I just realized something. The magic system of Final Fantasy 16 is a lot like the Magic system of Legend of Dragoon
Red=Fire
Green=Wind or nature
Blue=Ice or Water
Yellow=Earth
Purple=Lightning
Black, pink or dark red=Darkness
White, light green or light blue=Light
Silver or random color=No Elements, all the elements or Ultima’s Magic
Meaning that the characters of both games have the same elements
Clive, Joshua, Dart and possibly Lloyd=Fire and No Elements, all the elements or Ultima’s Magic
Benedicta, Lavitz and Albert=Wind and Nature
Jill and Meru=Water and Ice
Hugo and Kongol=Earth
Cid and Haschel=Lightning
Dion, Shana and Miranda=Light
Barnabas and Rose=Darkness
Same could be said for the Dominants and Dragons
Ifrit, Phoenix and Red Eye Dragon=Fire
Shiva, Leviathan and Blue Sea Dragon=Water and Ice
Garuada and Jade Dragon=Wind and Nature
Titan and Golden Dragon=Earth
Ramuh and Violet Dragon=Lightning
Bahamut and White Silver Dragon=Light
Odin and Dark Dragon=Darkness
Ultima and the Divine Dragon=The mysterious ultimate magic, non elemental magic or magic of all 7 elements
You don't have to do it, I'm just making a random recommendation, but I think you should redo this and equip the proper Eikon Weapons to match the with the right Eikon Abilities except Clive will wield his Invictus sword for the Ifrit abilities.
Sounds like a good idea. I'll check it out when the PC version arrives. But now my ps5 is broken, so I can't do anything right now. 🙁
@@sykioh sorry to hear about your PS5. Scratch the idea of Invictus and if you get Original Sin, use that for Ifrits ability showcase. Beautiful sword. Stronger than the Ultima Sword

Majority of her moveset deals alot of stagger dmg. Her ultimate is only good for goonies. She deals no dmg basically on bosses etc

they tend to make Ifrit be a big deal yet they dont have enough skill set for him in his Clive form... where the hell is Hellfire?? and also you forgot the other elemental spell skillset of Clive you only have the fire one
Ifrit has his own abilities during Eikon fights like brimstone

They make an ifrit moveset with moves similar to the infernal shadow that you unlock after defeating said boss

I dont own the game or a Ps5 I only learned much about this game through lore videos and all boss videos
I honestly would love to become a arsonist in ff16 and burn any who oppose me to ashes with ifrit
I think it would be cool if they added: PROPER boss fights against Phoenix, Ramah, Shiva, Leviathan, and Odin in some kind of arena mode
Add more Ifrit moves, maybe have you able to cast Hellfire by using limit break bars instead of semi-priming. Also, have an endgame item or ability that lets you be able to transform at will into Ifrit for random encounters, or have it be random chance like FFXV

@@Tsukidal it's the same combat director of dmc, the character also have red demon mode, and style switching gameplay like dante
@@minusalterThere are similarities between the two games, but they have different details and nuances. Clive in comparison to Dante does not have a wide arsenal of weapons. Its main advantage is that it uses different types of spells for its attacks, while I like the fact that it combines the idea of different devil may cry styles. We can say that the developers have improved the idea of capcom. That's why I feel the potential of dmc6. Х)
@@minusalter You're aware that a few similarities doesn't make something a copy right? Each Eikon grants Clive a few specifically themed attacks like when Nero equips a Devil Breaker, does that make him a Nero knockoff? He's got a 4-hit basic combo too. Level 5 Zantetsuken is Judgement Cut End and Gungnir is the end of Vergil's Combo B using Mirage Edge, does that make him a Vergil knockoff?
And is that a bad thing? The gameplay may be the same but the person wielding it isn't.
