Dimash is an extraordinary vocal acrobat, who studied from a very early age, and that technical quality cannot be taken away from him.
I can clearly see your lack of knowledge and giving an answer as true is very abusive on your part, since you don't know anything about voices. Your opinion is simply oriented to your personal taste for the vocal acrobatics that Dimash does, and not for knowledge.
First of all, Dimash is not an opera singer, he has a lyrical range, which sounds like an opera singer, but he is not.
Lara Fabian has a born Bel Canto technique, and it shows in her vocal posture, her technique is impeccable.
Now, Lara Fabian's interpretation of her songs, and precisely in Broken Bow, is spectacular, and without a doubt, she is the best classical pop singer this land has produced in centuries.

I think you should look at Dimash's Education background he might not be a true Opera singer which he was asked to train as an opera singer but with his ability why would you his vocal flexibility who else can you compare him to 6 octave 2 semitone range D8 whistle note he can sing all the parts baritone to a Soprano and listen to ogni pietra not sure of the spelling the high soprano has vibrato showing his ability. That piece was written for him who else would be able to sing that song and Stranger when he sings close your eyes you think 3 or 4 singers and know just him is singing.Lara is one of the best female singers.

If I remember Lara Fabian is from an Italian family Who came to Belgium. She was born in Etterbeek. She father is à Belgian
was a backing vocalist for Petula Clarck and her mother Maria Luisa Serio passed away a few month ago and she even did a sang about that ( l'oubli )

After that she met Rick Allison (and were lovers) to go to Canada and was a great singer and when she want to go to USA, she met à great success in France (and Belgium) with the single Je t'aime and even in Russia and Ukraine with Mademoiselle Zhyvagoand Italia with Caruso, Adagio but USA was more difficult.
There are à lot of singer Who have a great voice like Céline Dion, Mariah Carrey and Whitney Houston... And her productor Walter Afanasieff thought there were to much and even it's not said, Broken Vow came from that.
What I like about about her is that she can feel what she sing.
I love when she sang for the movie movie Final Fantasy "the Dream within" or Esmeralda in the french version of ""The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

@ You are right in one way about beauty. Its just the surface and who really know how Lara is private. But I wouldnt say its the human nature to cheat, I would say its the ethical unawareness to do things that hurts other and also yourself. Because it will always backfire on you. I think the human nature is good, we are not borned evil but life is a challenge to stay honest and ethical in so we need to shape up and treat people the way we want them to treat us.

Can you imagine being in that audience and being able to hear her sing this song live? There couldn't have been a dry eye in the place. I wish I could go back in time and see this whole concert. Every song is an absolute gem. Great reaction. I get tears in my eyes every time I listen to this song, and I'm a 73 year old former musician that almost never listened to any other kind of music besides heavy metal. Then I was browsing through TH-cam and saw this beautiful woman being reacted to and was curious to see what the fuss was about. It was Jesuis Malade from this concert. From that point I was hooked. The performers nowadays need flashing lights and back up dancers and a hundred things going on at once. Lara comes out in a beautiful gown, a great orchestra, and just a little reverb on her voice, (no autotune) and you can't take your eyes off her and her voice is hypnotizing.

I don't like to compare singers because each one has a peculiarity that makes them special and unique, but Lara Fabian is undoubtedly one of the best singers with a great voice that emerged from the 90s. She definitely doesn't fall short of any of her contemporaries and those who came before or after her. Her singing is simply magical, transcendental. I'm impressed.

Been following Lara for many years now. In Europe she is very well known. She really is my favourite vocalist. There are lots of vocalists with good voices but Lara's interpretation, vocalisation is more than just melody, she lives the song. She draws you in and you experience her feelings, her hurt, her pain, her emotions with her as if you are there, as if they are your emotions. She is a powerful vocalist and a superb actress. She sings better in French, I believe even better than in her native Italian language. I am so glad you found her..
She now is a Canadian Citizen I believe. Our loss and the Canada's gain! So glad I found your channel purely by accident. I cry every time I hear her singing, this song, and 'Je suis malade' for sure always get me deep in a place where had forgotten was there. She voices is cathartic and gets the listener to focus on experiences, pains, loves, and emotions that were buried, even when she isn't singing about anything like that personal hurt. It has helped me deal with things, find a resolution and then bury it so as to be able to pass onto the next stage of my life.

The music of Broken Vow was co-composed by Walter Afanassiev and Lara Fabian.
Walter Afanassiev, an american/brazilian from russian descent, is a legendary composer and producer (he composed some of the greatest initial hits of Mariah Carey such as All I Want for Christmas is You and was the producer of the Titanic soundtrack that brought Celine Dion to WW fame). He is also now the producer of Dimash for his US career.
When this song was composed, Walter and Lara were engaged, but apparently he cheated and she decided to break up. When she took this decision, that she knew would dramatically change both her personal and professional destiny, she wrote these incredible lyrics.
Lara has said this is her preferred english song from all the songs she wrote in this language (there are many, and some are pure jewels).

True, Lara is very generous and didn’t mind sharing her song with Josh Groban. She wrote it and sang it but most people believe that it is Groban’s song because I’ve made it popular in the US.

I doubt that story very much. It's very unlikely that a star of Streisand's magnitude would have made a personal call like that. That's why she has a team of promoters, and a manager.
Never other singers were able to do how like her sung; so broken vow would be her own eternally
