You havent heard of her before ?? The reason is all to do with the goings on between Celine Dion in conjunction with Sony music Industries conspiring , for fear of Lara destroying their hold on music sales in the United States !! Thats why she came back to Europe being of a Belgian father and Sicilian Mother and is now a Naturalised Canadian flourishing Worldwide !! Lara is an extremely accomplished musician ! being in that she is a Composer ! Song Writer ! a Pianist that plays Piano! Violin! Guitar! ! she is fluent in Italian! English! French! Spanish! and has sung in 14 Languages ! and written books on Cookery !she also has a daughter from a former relationship ! she has also beaten cancer ! she is a Lyrical Soprano! with an extremely powerful yet so so smooth beautiful voice as well as being Stunningly Beautiful ! also a humble human being She Has the Best Female Voice on the Planet right now ! May she go from strength to strength ! God bless Lara !

I agree. I found her in 2000 & told my friends I found the Barbra of this generation. Her songs have been on my playlist since then but I was so disappointed with her not getting the recognition here in the US. I’m happy when I found reactions to her & her music on TH-cam. 😂 FUNNY STORY LARA tells in an interview about rehearsal with Dimash and Aida for Ti Amo Cosi.. standing around the piano Aida cocking her head at Dimash, casually looked over and said, if I have to run out for something he can sing my part and burst out laughing ! They came apart and couldn't get it together. Deep breaths, OK we're ready, one would look at the other and break up. Finally, Aida, biting her lip, blinking like a madwoman, looking everywhere but at Dimash, choked, snorted her note through her nose and they were hysterical ! Igor pounding on the piano lid laughing, gasped Break ! Lunch ! Fabulous. Still laughing, they put on their coats, walked outside she looked at her watch and it was 9:30 in the morning. The audience convulsed in laughter, her story endearing as she mimicked everyone, Aida blinking wildly, Dimash pulling back looking wide eyed down at her trying not to laugh, she tells a wonderful story.

I've always loved Lara's embodiment of the music/lyrics. It brings me to how Dimash declares over and over that his range doesn't matter and that his sole passion is the people feel the emotions of the songs he sings, and take them away from reality for a bit. If Lara is one of his inspirations, it's easy to see the correlation in this passion.

Loving watching you both discover Lara. It's one of the great experiences in life, there's no one else like her. This is the same concert, From Lara With Love, they just have different setups for different songs. The whole thing is a master class so you'll be reacting to this concert for awhile! She is a musician and composer and writes the melodies as well, or at minimum co-writes. The thing with Lara that I appreciate so much, as a songwriter myself, is the way her melodies are complex and intricate without ever being showy. The same with her singing choices. She does nothing just because she can or to show off, nothing for ego's sake. Everything is in service to the story. And what she said in the beginning about not being able to explain how you write a song, that something passes through you... remember that when you react to Adagio. It's what the song is about. On the surface it sounds like a love song, but if you know how important being a songwriter is to her, and what she said in that clip, you will hear a love song to the god of inspiration, begging him to never abandon her, that she'll always be waiting for the connection that lives beneath her skin, at the "piano that plays". It takes on an extraordinary depth when you know this. Looking forward to Wednesday! Eric is single handedly introducing Lara to the world!

What a pleasure it was to see your emotion and dazzlement in front of this magnificent interpretation. Yes, Lara is captivating and still is today. I saw her in concert a year ago, I was in the middle of the room and it was crazy the aura that emanated from her on stage. It radiated everywhere because she gives off so much energy... Can't wait to be with you again on Wednesday. I hope that you won't make too many songs from her, that we can continue this journey for a while longer with you and Lara...

🇨🇦 Lara (not Laura) is singing this song to you from that same concert !
This lady is so talented, she can sing, write, produce, arrange and act as well !
You should now expand your experience, and perhaps react to her duet with Johnny Hallyday, called "Requiem pour un fou" 🇨🇦

    Her songs are so painful.
I discovered that that searing pain isn’t gone, even after 55 years!
She is a beautiful woman, with an exquisite voice. Catherine Deneau (not sure of the spelling) is another out of the world gorgeous.
Reactors always wonder how they missed Dimash all these years. Same with Lara.
She has a concert in June in Ottawa. But nothing in the states this year. Really great vocalists skip the USA. Probably because most don’t appreciate truly wonderful music.

This is from her PBS televised concert from Montreal "From Lara with Love" the same concert where she did "Je Suis Malady" - your 1st reaction to Lara. Lara ended the concert with "Broken Vow".
Others songs include and worthy a reaction:
    Caruso (Italian)
    I Will Love Again
    Perdere L'Amore (Italian)
    Love by Grace
    Yeliel (My Angel)
    Adagio (Italian)
    Quedate (Spanish)

@@Watchamacallit000 This would be my preferred setlist:
-Caruso (the best cover of this song IMO even better than the tenors (Pavarotti, Bocelli, Iglesias and so on)
      -Adagio
      -Je Suis Malady
-Je Tiame (which is her signature and one of the 1st songs she wrote)
-Pas Sans Toi (at one of her earlier concerts she mentioned that this is her favorite and another one she wrote early on)
      -Mademoiselle Hyde
      -Ta Peine (latest release 1/26/2024)
-Evergreen or a medley of Yentl (Streisand covers)
-Love by Grace (became a hit in Brazil and still is)
-Broken Vow (my favorite but she don't sing this to often)
I Will Love Again (got worldwide recognition)

I love Lara's voice & songs. She puts so much emotion in everything she does. I discovered Dimash because of Lara, as I kept hearing from reactors that Dimash is a huge fan of her. Her ability to convey emotion has made me cry so many times. Have you seen the video where she is performing after a period of illness & a break-up and the audience arranged with her pianist for them to sing Je'taime to her? She was taken by complete surprise by this & the audience sang Mon'taime (We love you) instead of Je'taime. She was so moved by this display of love & support & I never fail to cry like a baby when I watch it. She is phenomenal!
    Thanks guys 😊🙏💞

Lara... truly the greatest female vocalist of our time. Many greats but Lara has a tonal quality, undergirded by flawless technique and and mystified by her personal, emotional presence that I doubt anyone truly rivals. When you hold a piece of gold in your hand you just know it is something unique and special. Lara and Dimash are like that. You can't explain it. You have to experience for yourself.❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
Thank you so much for giving us many golden experiences!!

Thank you for reacting to this video. Broken wow is definitely one of the most amazing songs. I have been a fan of Lara since 1999. Lara is like an ocean. When you start listening to him, every emotion penetrates your soul. He is the best of his peers and that's why they prevented him from being successful in the USA. America lost a lot because of Sony Music and Celine Dion team. The evil done to Lara is incredibly terrible.
And finally, I have a ticket to the Turkey-Istanbul concert on April 25, I am very happy and excited.
