New subscriber love the way you explain shit keep making good videos. I just picked up the Apollo 11 commander would love to see your thoughts on that and upgrades that I can do it.
He's right, my Apollo 11(full size) had those hang up issues, LFA told me to fire more ammo through it and it should go away, and it did. Now it shoots very good, but I have had issues with my compact (seems to be mag related, doesn't like Prodigy mag).
great vide, I agree I feel the build quality of the Prodigy is better than the apollo. I own and love both but I agree with you on this one. I had my gunsmith tune mines so I don't have that slide hang-up issue. I had one of the first batches of 5in and it was a problem child to say the least. But once those few minor issues were resolved I truly feel in love with the gun. Looking forward to getting my Mac 9 ds in this week and seeing how it compares to the rest. What grip is that you have on your prodigy?
Nth wrong wit duramags it’s crazy when it’s the prodigy they a problem but duramag in other guns are perfect just like mim parts lol when it’s n this gun it’s a prob but they Glocks they love it
The atlas guide rod was having problems when it first came out and honestly.with the one I got I can take it apart and put it back together without the paper clip it's just slightly faster with one .
I'm so such of you guys buying a gun, then acting like you're an authority on it. What you need to do is stop showing guns with flashlights on them. The only reason you guys shoot with a flashlight on the gun is because there is less felt recoil with the flashlight on. Be professional, review the gun, not a gun with a flashlight.
I don't do reviews, I'm a shooter. I don't mean to offend you, all I'm saying is I read reviews for information on guns, and I don't need to see flashlights on every gun.
I don’t have flashlights on my guns either, but man just chill…this guy is an expert vs most people and is just trying to share some info-he has them like you said to reduce felt recoil / return to zero faster for speed. It’s how he wants to run them why hate so much when he didn’t even talk about flashlights?!
This clearly isn't a review though. He's only explaining a common issue guys with these guns have. As a new apollo 11 owner he broke down really relevant questions in a really concise way and the flash light had nothing to do with the subject. If it was a review he'd show the bag the gun comes in and what it comes with. He'd shoot it and review the experience. Plus he's cover all the features. Most of that wasn't covered because that was never the purpose of the video. I wouldn't bother taking my flashlight off if I was him either.
Your voice is annoying my G😂😂😂😂 I got both and got no issues but they both have the same setup EGW internals trigger hammer with Danson precision tool lees guide rods with 9lbs spring . Prodigy over 3000 rounds and Apollo 11 around 2500 rounds both prodigy grip. Mac9 DS is my next project . Don’t shoot 115 gr ain’t good for any 2011
This dude said sand down the slide of your pistol and ruin your warranty instead of just polishing the disconnector 🤣 , talking about “the problem is you and you don’t know shit about 1911’s “ please do not listen to this horrible advice and jack up your gun. Do not sand down or dremel your slide . The disconnector hangs up a little bit. Pull it out and polish it up and maybe run a file over it once or twice. It’s a $12 part if needed replaced as opposed to the whole slide 🤦🏻♂️ , he can make it look pretty tho if he keeps on sanding hahah lol
I see you have a hearing problems I said this Is what I did to my gun ! I also said you could just shoot the damn gun and it will polish itself out.also most manufacturers are sanding down the slide it's called a marvel cut the high end guns like atlas and they are starting to do it on the Apollo 11 . As I said in the video you don't know shit about 1911's.
M1A1 is a .30 carbine rifle dude. Or a tank. I dont think that 1911 is either. You wanna say "M1911A1" because you dont want anyone to go thinking you're gonna roll up in a tank; people tend to get in a tizzy over such things...
Yeah I realized I said m1a1 instead of m1911a1 after I posted this video. I didn't go over the video and edit it . I'm new to this so next video I post I will be checking for mistakes I make before I post.
I have the Apollo 11 Compact with a TLR1HL gas pedal and TTI Magwell. Runs flawlessly. No issues out of 115,124, or 147gr

What's the issues with the compact? I'm really trying to narrow down between the Apollo 11 compact, MAC 9 DS, and the 4.25 prodigy
Go with the mac 9 , the apollo is having to many issues
