I'm around 7,000 rounds deep on mine but there are lots of competition people who have way more than that. I'd like to see how their 2011s play out, so far they seem subpar but I haven't seen anyone complaining about reliability specifically. More so bad triggers, poor texture, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they're not reliable but Tisas has made some OK single stack 1911s in the past from what I've heard.

Thank you for importing an "optics ready" handgun that has the necessary plates that come with it to truly make it optic ready. More than I can say than my Dan Wesson Specialist, that claimed it was optics ready. I have the optic, but since they released the handgun and didn't bother making the necessary plates readily available or included, it is in fact NOT optics ready.

Upcharge the product in demand. They haven’t really brought anything earth shattering to their product line in years. Their company policy seems to be keep the reliability the main thing.

Wonder what it would take to swap the grip module from this or the platypus to a staccato or similar & what else would need done to convert to inexpensiveglock mags? Glock mag 2011 pistols for 1k or less would be THE game changer. Platypus starts at 1400 while this is about 400 less. Will Fusion be the one to bring the market down to a more reasonable level? Hopefully if they can keep it the cheapest glock mag 2011 on the market.
This is sick!! This might be my first foray into 2011’s since 2011 mags are insanely expensive, I already own a shit ton of Glock mags, and I live in a limited state so 2011 limited mags are just ridiculous to obtain.
I have my platypus, im good on a glock mag 1911 ds. Also have a prodigy that I got for around the same price, and 2 Tisas ds 1911s that combined are about the same price. Mags aren't that bad, i've found 20 round prodigy mags for about $30 out there. id go with the Mac 9 over this personally, considering you can get it for around $800 or so if you look around and are patient.
I have run the dog shit out of my Caniks thinking they were going to be cheap Turkish trash a few years quite a few thousands of rounds later i appreciate the few quality pistols that are coming in at decent price points ... The hard part is the trial and error to figure it out

For everyone in the comments trashing this pistol. I stopped by there booth and spoke with them. They said they were codeveloping the pistol with Ermox. Also on the flyers they were handing out it says 2 innovators one pistol and has Ermox and Fusion on the flyer. I felt it and it was smooth as butter and trigger was awesome. If it functions well its going to be an awesome pistol for the price.
Ermox already developed it and presented it at IWA. I am not sure what Fusion has added to the mix other than importing and probably marketing. Maybe they will further develop the 5" models but this current one is not theirs.

@brandiwynter the walls are not thicker, the mags are just longer front to back hecause they are designed to also feed .38 super. Staccato does make a pistol that uses a proprietary mag that is sized for 9mm and those mags are a lot smaller but its not a standard 2011

I bought a Fusion 1911 and I can honestly say that it was the worst gun that I have ever purchased, and I can't imagine that this one would be any better. The only way to make it work correctly was to replace all the internals with Wilson combat internals.
