- Smoke grenades definitely make a difference, but I couldn't care less, because this run felt so freaking good! Man, I'm really proud of it! I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did running it... =D
Havana had an awesome start, but nearly ruined the run... Downed, Piranesi & Fastline are usually very tricky, but they went better than expected!
I won't spoil it, but wait until you see Aztec and Torn... the luck was unreal! Nah, I fucking practiced a lot! Screw modesty xD I hope I redeemed myself on that final clutch without a smoke grenade. (For those unaware of what I'm talking about, watch the final round of my last "Expert" speedrun, which has been made obsolete.)
PS.: I said I was going to wait until my Cubital Tunnel Syndrome healed before running Expert, but I couldn't wait anymore... It was a bit difficult sometimes, but I pushed through. I was very motivated thanks to my viewers' support. Thanks again, guys!

Maverick is truly one of the most wildcard AIs I've seen in a game, his low co op is pretty convenient sometimes.

Maverick is one of my most used bots on Hard and Expert
He saved my ass countless times especially on Torn wherein he kept me safe as I stabbed a Terrorist to death

(There are some crucial times that Maverick flat out ignored me or when we're about to win
Some maps I don't use him entirely, his replacement is Steel or Tex if he didn't give two shits about us winning)
He saved my ass countless times when I was younger too! I disagree with your stats update, because Maverick having a low coop is actually very convenient a lot of the times... I would actually lower most bots’ coop because or that. Now, of course, there were also a few times that it would have been good for Maverick to have followed my command, but still, the positives outweigh the negatives by a long shot, Liroi.

I wish the new players today used the old AI strats of just running around and shooting. I'm getting chills watching this. Todays gameplay is more audio based. No footsteps, just crouching around. If people were as aggressive and action oriented as this, my god. Gaming would be the best.
Hey, man! Thats an interesting perspective, but unfortunately for you, I am using audio to play better haha footsteps and callout are of major importance in counter-strike… but if you mean like in Quake or Unreal Tournament, then yes, i agree wholeheartedly

Hey, Sora! You are probably right! I cant think of many more major strategies throughout the runs, but keep in mind that this strat is not 100% fail-safe (like any other)…. Sometimes they’re all there, sometimes they dont even appear at all. Theres also the possibility of human error as usual xD

Since you uploaded your hard speedrun without smoke grenades I have been trying to do it in expert, but it's hard as hell. Smokes are indeed another deal. I said on the description of my Hard speedrun that I didnt like running it as fast as possible, because it felt so cumbersome. I much prefer to play consistently rather than fast, because it just feels much more rewarding (to me) to play cs that way. Although I've been practicing cscz a lot, so it makes a huge difference as well, for sure!

chateau map had some scary moments with those self flashes😂 i feel like one mistake completely ruins that map due to m249 being such a costly objective and CT bots being so clueless in that map due to navigation and tight spaces
incredible run overall, that knifing + 2 kills in first round itself in havanna was so good. i had to do like 10 attempts to just get the timing down

That cs_havana_cz match was a clusterfuck. It started out strong, but then it seems the game decided to slowly but steadily piss you off with bullshit. The disappointed "oh no!" that played after you accidentally TK'd a bot is the perfect summary of that match.

@@bluluxabica868 Look when i played with Maverick many times ina round there were like 4 Ts left and me and maverick were alone fighting with them. I told maverick guard the bomb but he didn't listened and we lost. When i used Steel in his place, Steel guarded the bomb and we won the round

would you like to try buy pistol+equipment only run? in this challenge, the only stuffs you can buy are the ones from Pistols and Equipments menu and if you want other weapons you actually have to wait until someone got killed and you pick their drops.

oh an uhhmmm i'm also wondering, did you got also a bug in cscz when in the first time you started the round, there is sometime a one or few enemy bot will spawn dead, which is kinda what i've seen a lot of speedrunner encounter it and it questioning the legitimacy, i also encounter it after playing the steam version of the game (yes i've been playing the pirate version back in the past)

Hey, Sumit! Thank you so much! Sorry, I cant describe how I do it, it is just a LOT of practice… I play games for over 20 years and cs for 18 years, you know? Its just me playing naturally
Tbh i never had known smoke trick until i watched on TH-cam.
And i did expert without a single smoke grenade!
Some maps like chetau and down took upto 4 hours to complete lol.
AWP helped in Aztec and and second last map.
But that torn map is very very difficult.
Actually it's easy but that kill with knife and survive ruined all winning chances.
I can't remember how many times i killed with knife and couldn't survived. And when i did terrorist like panther, spider or snake did 4 or 5 kills and completely changed the momentum and finally a defeat.
Torn would be easy map if there was no kill with knife and survive task. Or atleast just kill and need not to survive.
I know my comment is getting bigger but here's the thing.
If you think u will kill with knife with the shield then u can never because with sheild he only do horizontal strikes and that strikes do only 10 to 12% damage per strike.
But you can do vertical and headshot attack with right click when u don't have shield.
Back then, after so many unsuccessful attempts and i thought that mission is consuming more time and it's completely waste of time, i deleted that knife task 😂
And then completed last mission.
Tbh there are 18 mission
First few are too easy.
Heat gets started from chetau map.
And last 3 are difficult.
And torn is just impossible!
I played Conter strike Condition Zero Extreme Edition 🔥
And I don't know what's exactly difference between original one and xtreme edition.
Btw try Counter strike Condition zero Extreme Edition 🔥
And just do last 3 missions without smoke grenade!

Do the best no one could ever think: Solo Expert mode with NO SMOKE, FLASHBANG, HE GRANADES (except when they are required for challenges only), NO FRIENDLY BOTS, just for all the Nostalgic fans...ur movements and reflexes are beyond the ordinary, trust me. ITs not just practice, u got innate gaming skillz

Last map sucks. I really hate this map. How to know where T will plant bomb? Is there random or sequence?
Why do you hate it? Usually it is random, but some maps the closest bombsite to the Ts is the most likely one.
Just follow your teammates, bots most likely know, where the enemy will go, like they hvae some sort of wallhacks
Can you tell me how did you enable the bot money display in the Tab button window?
My game version also does not have those black markings that point towards bombsites A and B. Can you enable it, is it a mod or you just have a different version.
If it's a different verison can you please provide me a download link for it? I so badly want a clean copy.

does this translate to CS 2? if you can deal with Expert CZ bots then humans even at higher level should be a piece of cake for you?
Highly likely no, unfortunately. The best players maximize the use of movement, angles, and hearing, while even expert bots mostly rely on aim only.
They (expert bots) most of the time position themselves badly enough that they may get a quick kill but almost immediately die afterwards because they let themselves stand & shoot in an exposed spot. This is of course not the case for the best 1.6 players. They are even crafty enough to position themselves in a way that makes them able to isolate encounters with multiple enemies into instances of 1v1s. Using their surroundings to obstruct themselves from other enemies' view and only allow one enemy at a time to have a direct angle on them, instead of letting themselves be exposed/overwhelmed and shot from multiple angles.
There are also players who despite not having a "golden" aim, excel at the game's macro strategies and team play. This is usually reflected (mistakenly interpreted) by how they seem to get many "easy kills" from the flank, when in reality they outplayed the enemy so much that they can get those easy kills. Of course, expert bots were not programmed to execute these strategic plays.
It should also be noted that many players may appear to have faster reaction time than even elite bots (which in reality is virtually impossible), but that is just due to their genius in *anticipating* plays and recognizing patterns. They (players) proficiently pre-aim their crosshairs to every likely approach spots, and even pre-fire based on hearing. Expert bots are often times poor at pre-aiming, and will only begin to lock-on when the player becomes visible.
P.S. Yes, there is a hidden higher preset bot difficulty than "Expert" in default CS, namely "Elite". In regular games with bots in Expert difficulty, there are some bots (a total of -6 or 8- 4 if iirc) whose difficulty in botprofiles are listed as "Elite". According to the botprofiles, in the last stages of the Expert Tour of Duty, the T team is not comprised of "Expert" bots, but actually "Elite" bots (the ones whose name are straight-up animal names). Hence why we might find the beginning stages of ToD far easier than the last stages.
EDIT: Forgot to write that even with all that is said above, clearly the player in the video is a great player. But i am sure even he himself would admit that he will struggle against even the average elite competitors of CS e-sports. If it suits your entertainment, you can see the videos of f0rest and neo revisiting CS 1.6, and it is clear how dominant they are against even great players
