What sort of sick nitwit would shoot a cat. Poor sweetheart. Thank you for adopted her & making her your family. You 2 are absolutely made for one another. She has to be one of the sweetest cuddly cats I have ever seen. 🙏🐈🥰
That is why I've always been very hard on people who say they allow their cats outside. They have to contend with other animals diseases insects but the one thing that I would fear the most are other humans because humans can be disgustingly evil
I n love ❤❤❤
There are some real sickos out there, I've heard some jerks shoot at them simply because they don't like them >.< then others try to purposely run them over with their cars. EVIL.
Okay, first- I agree. Second- I love the word nitwit! It should be used more often!
Unfortunately the same kind of nitwit that shoots at dogs, etc for fun. If only they could speak. Then again…I’m not sure we could handle hearing all the abuse & pain some of them have endured. 😢💔
Cats are so unique and extraordinary animals. Once they see that you are their family they will literally live in your skin forever.
💖💖💖
This is why I give alot of credit to people who adopt senior cats, you got a heart of gold lady. They are the most loving and loyal companions you can have.
"alot" is NOT word!
@@AndrewBlacker-t1da lot is two words 😂
How sad is your life if pointing out spelling mistakes on a video about cats is on top of your list.
@@ThrashieKR Not as sad as ignorant illiteracy.
Make more intelligent choices.
Right..
This cat deserves the best , I am so happy she found love with this gentle lady !!
Volunteering at a cat shelter I find it so sad sometimes, when people come looking for kittens only..as though senior cats can't give that much love. And this sweet tabby is a living proof of how wrong people can be. Great these girls found each other ❤
Your analysis is correct. I'm a senior and went to a cat shelter 5 years ago. 1 Senior f.i.v. Orange cat was uncaged,on a perch. When I bent over he walked onto my back and laid down. His name is Woody. No fee for him as no one wants to adopt f.i.v. cats. Except me.😊
@@mattdonna9677 that's great) wish more people be more open to adopt cats with some issues. Couple years ago there was that one cat with leukaemia no one wanted, until another volunteer. And judging by their photos now the cat is thriving, almost doubled its furr))
That’s why I foster kittens and adopt older cats. We get all the fun of a kitten and all the love of an older cat. A lot of time and attention goes into it but it makes for a happy life❤
Yes, but it s cause you want a long time with our cat
@@mattdonna9677what is fiv?
I remember a senior cat I fell in love with.
Her name was Big Mama. She was the oldest cat at the local shelter I volunteered at. I couldn't adopt her for multiple reasons, so I always made some time when I was there. She was super sweet, and constantly wanted to sit in my lap. It got to the point where she knew when I would come and wait by the front door for me, and demanded snuggles as soon as I walked in.
A proud queen, she died at the age of 23, laying in my supervisors lap.
Wow, 23 is well past the average life expectancy for cats (not unheard of but unusual).
My eyes welled up with tears when I heard that she was shot at 😢
Thank soooo much for rescuing her & giving her the much loved life that MK deserves ❤️
And that she was in a shelter for two long years, bored and alone most likely, when she wanted a person to snuggle with so badly!!😭😭
Glad she found her forever home and received so much love. The rest, is happy ending.
😭 happy she got a loving home atlast😊
@@lisadc4681Cats need a house or apartment so they can have the freedom of multiple rooms to roam around in.
Older and even adult cats are the best.
Agreed!
Give senior animals a chance!! They’re literally THE sweetest babies 🥹❤
She is beautiful! Senior animals are so special. To make their last years happy and comfortable is the best feeling in the world. 💕
She said it right when she said she found her "Soul Cat" MK is living the life she deserves and with the Mom she's waited for her whole life ❤
I adopted my beloved old boy, a Norwegian Forest Cat, when he was 14, arthritic, half blind, and in pain. He and I had a blissful love, and he lived happily with me for another 10 years before his time came. He made my life amazing. Senior cats are precious and amazing.
This video melted my heart. Much respect to you for adopting a senior cat too many times they get looked over . The bond you 2 have it’s magical .
She is the sweetest! At shelters, they even call 5 year old cats "seniors" which is absurd. Cats can live into their 20s! Senior kitties tend to be teddy bear/couch potatoes. When senior people come into the shelter and want a "kitten" it blows my mind. Adult and senior cat's are easier to manage.
I'm a firm believer that cat lovers will have more than one soul cat throughout their lives. I have/have had 2 so far.
I found my tortie, my 2nd soul cat, as a month-old kitten in the wall of a place that I used to work at. Lured her out with lunchmeat and water in the Texas summer heat. 10 years later, she'll still hang out wrapped around my shoulders like a scarf if I let her. She just always wants to be on me like MK here. We have 3 total, all seniors officially at this point, but you couldn't tell based on behavior. Senior pets have so much love to give, so thank you for adopting MK, Brittany! I think everyone can see that she appreciates it.
Senior cats are the best!
Young or old, this is the sort of behavior a rescue/shelter cat will give you when you bring them from a damaged, unsafe environment to a patient, warm and loving home
I want one of those for my dogs. Great, another contraption to make me look like the crazy dog mom 🤣
🤣 We can never be a "too" crazy dog or cat mom! 🥰
So what if you look crazy?! Do those people matter?! ABSOLUTELY NOT! Say it again! ABSOLUTELY NOT!! Swaddle your dog, they matter and ALWAYS love you.....ALWAYS
Such a sweet mama and cat. I love it.
“People may surprise you with unexpected kindness. Dogs have a depth of loyalty that often we seem unworthy of. But the love of a cat is a blessing, a privilege in this world.” - Kinky Friedman
She definitely IS your Soul Cat 🔆 I smiled through this entire video…there is nothing like being chosen by a cat. Dogs pretty much like everyone, but when a cat makes you ‘theirs’ it really means something. May you have many years together 😻
She’s so sweet! MK is definitely living the best golden years a kitty could have.
Oh her tiger stripes and eyes are beautiful 😍
The way she present her head for huggies....adorable ❤
Aww, MK is just so sweet. She’s saying, “You’re mine, you’re mine, you’re mine!”❤️
What a lover!!!
One will never know how sublime the love of a cat is, until you rescue one :)
So amazing that you found each other. ❤
So, so, so precious!!! Please don’t overlook the adult cats in the shelter, folks! They are awesome!
That pose is called 'Downward Cat' 😂😂 ❤
I love how MK reacted to the swaddle.. uneasy at first but a few head boops later.. ❤❤
My last two cats were seniors. I was fostering Buddy, (12 years old) but after two years of no one wanting him, I officially adopted him. He was with me for seven years. My Mia was 14 when I adopted her in 2021. She passed away a few weeks ago, and I miss her dearly. People, kittens are adorable, but they turn into adult cats pretty quickly. Adopt adult/senior cats. They are every bit as wonderful and lovable as kittens, and deserve to be in a loving home to finish out whatever number of their nine lives they have left.
Literally ugly crying with happiness for this lovely pair xxx
One very grateful kitty..😘
Beware:😉 Cats can get very old..! When our little grey lady passed, she was over 19 years old. We have had her since birth, and she lived the good life on a farm. She was much loved from the beginning, until the very end. 😢❤️
Seniors are the best! From the moment you meet them, what you see is the sweet personality you get.
Happy Tabby Thursday to everyone 😁😸
This is so adorable. MK must have thought she had landed in heaven when she met Brittany and Brittany understood about giving her space to make the move towards her. Of course she is her soul cat! I love and have loved all of my cats over the years, but we often have one (or sometimes more) who is just perfect for us. It's a lovely bond, and I think older cats are special. I had an old lady of almost 19 for 9 months before she passed and we just loved each other all that time. It was magical and I am so glad that when she was old and frail, she had a loving presence caring for her.
What a love bug. I lost all my senior cats in a row the past year and a half. 😢. I have 2 kittens now. One from the shelter and one from the Wal-mart parking lot. Both baby girls. I adore them and look forward to them growing old with me ❤❤
My million thanks to Brittany for providing happy home to MK along with "the dodo" for sharing.
What a crack up, them doing yoga together and the cat has her own mat. So sweet💕
How lovely is this cat!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for taking care of this lovely fluff ❤️❤️🐈🐈🐈🐈
She is definitely your soul Cat. What a great team - thank you for choosing this mature girl to be part of your life. I hope she is one of those Senior Cats who lives to be 22. What a sweet ball of floofy love.
MK is the queen of head butts. What a loving and loveable kitty. ♥️
2:34 so cute
sweet soul meets sweet soul
thank you
These two beings are absolute soul mates.
i have rescued cats since 1979, they are affectionate, loyal & amazing. they are companions, family & a lifetime commitment.
"Meow, let us enter Cat's pose. This can be any position you like, as long as you're comfortable."
My cat was a feral in my backyard I thought was a boy but found out she was a girl when she had two kittens at my feet she was the same way very far or very skittish outside cat and all of a sudden she just turned into the biggest love bug that follows me everywhere and gets in bed with me all the time they're so loving God bless you for taking her and she's so happy now
Bless you for adopting that cat all kitties should have a bless. Home and thank you so very much 😊
This video has made my day! I wish all senior fur babies could have a loving, warm, spoiled home in their twilight years. They deserve it.
Always nice to see senior cats get some lovin' because they have a lot to give.
I adopted my black and white cat from a rescue group. She was 7 years old and had been at the rescue for 5 years! Once I heard how long she had been there, I had to take her home. Three years later and Shadow is a wonderful companion who purrs at the drop of a hat. It took her awhile to learn she could just stand at her food bowl and eat. She didn’t have to run to a corner with a bite and wolf it down before coming to get more. The food bowl was ALL hers. 🤗❤️
I love people who love cats and other animals
This title fits completely my life. I have one like this lady, rescued from the streets at 8 (Vet estimation), with us since 2019.❤
Oh my, you two are perfect for each other and I can see how much you love her and I see her deep love for you. Congratulations on having a new family member. It is truly BEAUTIFUL. 🥰 🤩💖🙋♀️
OMG hearing you laugh and seeing you two in the wrap! Priceless! You made my day!!!!
So glad that sweet cat can live her golden years in happiness
This is the perfect cat..and there are so many more in shelters everywhere.
"GOD BLESS YOU FOR RESCUING M.K. YOU HAVE ENRICHED BOTH YOUR LIVES"!!!👍💖🥰
What an absolute darling cat!
They are so comfortable with each other. A charming tandem of a woman and a cat. 😀😀
I love watching you and your beautiful cat having such an amazing time together. Thank you so much for adopting a senior cat. It is so sad that they are overlooked in shelters because kittens.🙏😻✨
OMG She's the bestest!! I love her personality and her cinnamon nose and mature squishy body!
I love pretty much all living creatures, but adore mature cats. This lady and MK are match made in heaven!!! So glad that they have each other 🧡💝🐾
I’ve been following MK on instagram for a while now, so happy she got featured here!!!!! MK is the sweetest ❤❤❤❤
I would definately consider a fluffy senior baby if he/she was snuggly too
MK is so sweet & loving, amazing after what she's been through. Anyone who adopts a cat is a hero & a literal lifesaver & if that cat is a senior, that makes you an absolute angel! 🙏 Enjoy your golden years with your beloved human, MK! 😻🖤🤍
I completely understand the comment soul cat 🥰🐈🥰
Aww beautiful you toke on a older cat and given her a lovely life ❤
You can see how grateful she is and having all the positive things in her daily life by participating in many activities will extend her life - youth with senior status. To a long and healthy, fun life together ❤️
She is so cute. Blessings to both of you. All they give is unconditional love
Please adopt! Best way to get a pet. We always have rescues and couldn’t be happier. Super friendly animals.
What a precious connection you both have. Love ❤❤
She is such a sweetheart that truly loves you. It’s really special to see how happy you two look together. So glad you found each other❣️
You two are absolute soul mates!!!! Congrats!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️
My Heart is SO full of Love for both of you!!! You both made Christmas that much more special for me and my Cats!!! God bless you and MK!
So sweet. . These animals deserve love like this. . They are little souls just like us. . Just in a different package
Beautiful lady, beautiful cat, beautiful friendship 💙🩵🤍
Omg, this video helped to remind me of the good in humanity. Brittany and MK, thank you for sharing your beautiful story! Wishing you both all the best for the future. 💗
God bless all the people who adopt senior cats!
She is so loving, sweet and tactile with her owner. Amazing job!!
MK looks so adorable with that hat on!! I love cats and I really miss
my cat. he was about 20 when he passed over the rainbow bridge.
he passed in 2019. R.I.P. Gobi and to all the pets that we have lost.
Thank you for saving her and loving her.
Elderly cats are the best!! She reminds me of my Duffy :)
前世でどれ程の徳を積みまくればここまで猫に愛されるのだろう
Same, I'm a cat magnet 🤔
Seniors, special needs and converted ferals share a special place in my heart, thank you for taking her in and giving her the best golden years ever!
Such a lovely story 😊❤
This reminds me of me and my kitty. So sweet
It is beautiful to see an older cat like MK find her human and home and be so happy.
^^ that senior cat is just a big fluffball of love
My cat was my soulmate, like MK is with you. Cats are the most beautiful and adorable pets. I wish you both lots of love and happiness.
OMG, that’s exactly what happened when I adopted my Romeo! We bonded immediately, and from the second he curled up in my lap to the point where I had to go to bed, he was purring NONSTOP. He purred and purred for literal hours, and he was just so happy that he had his forever home! I’ll never forget that day. ❤
I’ve read two articles recently from people who adopted senior animals. After doing some volunteer work at my local shelter and seeing the heartbreak of an senior animal being surrendered because their owner died or the animal became ill and owner didn’t want to (or couldn’t) spend the money to treat them. I decided that instead of volunteering, I would adopt senior animals. I’m retired so had the time to introduce them to a new home and care for them if they were ill. Almost two years ago I adopted two miniature dachshunds. One was 17, the other was 18. The younger one died after about six months (both were in poor health when they were rescued). The older one is almost 20 now, deaf and nearly blind. But he’s a happy boy living his best life. Please consider adopting a senior animal. They have good years left and they’re so happy to have a loving home.
I was during when she was trying to smash the cat into the swaddle and the cat wasn’t having it. That didn’t last long though…kitty was snug as a bug in a rug. Mommas face is full of joy…she really loves her baby!
Such s beautiful, sweet, wonderful furry angel! Thank you for loving her.
I wish my rescue boy would love me like this!!
What an incredible kitty…. The Power of Love ! There’s nothing that compares.
She loves you so much!!
What a wonderful story. I am always amazed how forgiving and loving animals can be. Even after being shot she was willing to love you. Too bad people can not be like animals.
Ommmmmmmmg that purring is wonderful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sweet sweet baby! thank you for loving her.
Yes! Adopt senior cats! Everybody loves kittens, but they're only kittens for a little while. Adult and senior cats have histories and personalities, and they're so grateful to be given a new home.
