    I love your videos Doc Rajani and learn so much from you. I used to have these folds (68 now). I tried having them filled in my 50's and getting filler near my cheekbones, not in central face. Made it look a little better. For the last 10 to 12 years though I have being doing facial exercises. I now have no folds at all, have a lift in my cheek area which has obviously eased the folds. I still get botox in my No:11's but nothing else. After all this time doing these exercises, my results have proven to me (and others), that facial exercises can definitely help in keeping your face up "upright"😂 for a bit longer...❤🙏

    Thank you so much for not being dismissive of your patients/community that have experienced fat pad loss from home RF devices. I used a Nebulyft RF about 4-5x a week (exactly as recommended by the manufacturer -- who says you can use it DAILY), and within 10 days I had cavities, dips, and hollows all over the top half of my face. The fat loss effect for me was profound and rapid. Most of the popular beauty/esthetics TH-camrs swear up and down that home RF can't possibly cause fat loss, which is why I confidently invested in the Nebulyft. A very costly mistake! Your candor and honesty about this is so important. 10-20% sounds about right from what I see anecdotally in threads about RF.

    One major thing I noticed is that sleeping on my side and stomach for many years has moved the fat pad on my left side lower. Left side of my nose is lower as well as my eyelid. Sleeping on your back is very important to mitigate changes to fat and face structure. Bummer for me as really difficult to improve. Also really hard to change how you sleep.

    I saw a young lady post photos on reddit where she put in a bunch of PDO threads (short ones) all near and on her nasolabial folds. Her folds were lessened notably (late30s) Her results showed up no sooner than her '3 months later' mark. The pdo threads stimulated her facial collagen.

    This is such an interesting and informative video, thank you! I didn't know that Sculptra can be used on nasolabial folds. My concerns about using hyaluronic filler on nasolabial folds are: the filler can migrate to other areas and cause problems, and possibly make the fat pads around nasolabial folds look even worse. Since Sculptra is a bio-stimulator, I suppose there's no need to worry about migration per se, but can it still make the fat pads around nasolabial folds look worse? It would be great if you could update us with Sculptra injections and its uses on different parts of the face. You look great, Dr.Rajani!

    • @rajanimdskincare
      @rajanimdskincare  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Thank you. Much of biostimulators like sculptra, pdrn, prf etc is to make the fat pads healthy. As signallers. This is just now being realized. So biostimulators are meant to migrate and signal

    • @sk-xb8pk
      @sk-xb8pk 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    the best is facelift for extra skin cut and repositionning of tissue and little fat transfer for collagen stimulation. sculptra HA fillers only makes the skin heavierthick with low quality collagen in the dermis. next thing for volume is implant, it gives better bone structure which is the most important, nobody wants a weak bone structure with heavy thick and low collagen quality skin put on it it just make puffy and undefined contours. rf microneedling can be good at 5 7 mm deep for pores and skin texture but it does not addrees the cause of saggging like nasolabial fold whihc is a mainly bone fat SMAS loss

    Dr. Rajani how about injecting a polycaprone biostimulator (in Europe we have a product called Ellanse) in the cheeks and nasolabial folds to boost collagen? The advantage with this over Sculptra is that it can apparently be injected anywhere and no risk of nodules...
    I'm doing a series of Tixel treatments and after that I was thinking of trying Ellanse since I lost of lot of weight due to health issues. I would like to try PRF as well but unfortunately in my country providers seem to be stuck with PRP...

    Dr. Rajani, thank you for all your videos. I’m 62. How much should we take of Vitamin A, C, E and Zink please?
    Plasma Restore: Been using AM & PM for 2 months. Will I begin to see improvement soon? I use AHA Advanced Firming once a week, organic Argan Oil on temples, sides of nostrils AM & PM. Mornings I finish up with Potent C+E+Fe.
    I want to try Retinal tightening pads plus red light, however, I’ve no idea where these two fit in?
    Do any of these products get rid of age spots? I’ve heard castor oil does yet feel I’m already putting so much on my face.
    Tried PRF under eyes, last January, I can see results however I believe the injector missed the area under my eyes. It’s lower😕

    Slow weight loss will help with facial folds. I feel like no one mentions that. Even when you look at chunky babies, they have folds because of the fat. Adopting a healthier lifestyle is good all around but to be at an appropriate weight as we age is so important. The average American woman is 5ft 4 and 172lbs! Weight gain comes with age but to keep your weight down like when you were in your 20s will takes years off your face.

      @@rajanimdskincare the result of this new product is like face lift.
      "data prove Profhilo Structura® as a novel and promising treatment for adipose tissue restoration and repositioning.
      In particular, the quantitative analysis on skin thickness also demonstrated a general improvement in the injection area immediately after treatment and, more importantly, three months after treatment. Importantly, the quantitative results shows that the medical device not only has an immediate benefit, but that this is also maintained over time. The results have also been confirmed by clinicians and through patients’ satisfaction, as assessed by the high score evaluation on the GAIS scale.
      Overall, these data demonstrate that the studied medical device shows optimal tissue integration, and has a crucial regenerating effect on the adipose tissue, leading to more relaxed skin, and a compacted area after treatment. These clinical outcomes may provide the rationale for positioning the medical device within a biorevolumetry approach, due to three simultaneous actions: an increase in the volume, a lipolifting effect, and the stimulation of adipogenic differentiation. More importantly, ProfhiloStructura® allows the preservation of a natural look, and aesthetic effects similar to those obtained using cross-linked dermal fillers, avoiding any adverse effects associated with the use of different molecules from HA or other chemical molecules, and showing a high safety profile.

    Dr Rajani thank you for all the info! I'm 33 and I went to an injector to talk about my nasolabial folds and he suggested I get some filler in my upper cheeks (which I did) and use both Juvederm filler and some type of thread in the actual nasolabial fold (considering doing). Problem - I can't find good research or info on this.
    The way he described the threads is different than how you are using the pdos. I tried to research this and I think they are mesh threads? He said they dissolve naturally and soft tissue will replace them. Is this an option you know of or have a video on?
