Amazing how well these things keep their value. I'm picking up a 2005 210 popular and it's still 31,000 in 2024. 56K on the odometer. I guess one thing to bear in mind that while these things were a little under $80,000 back in 2005, by today's standards that's about $130,000 so I guess 30 grand is not so bad. I really love the design, other than the low ground clearance. There's some remarkable engineering, and even things like placement of mirrors and colors are all top notch and done by professional people. Road trek was one of the few manufacturers that had a 5 year warranty, which is just unheard of these days. Remarkable units and nice to see someone giving them a second life. I too love restoring the old units. Any new motorhome is absolute junk and I would put things like the Pro Masters in that category. I'd take a V8 Chevy over a pro master any day of the week.
Love my Roadtrek and yes you do the 3 finger wave. Roadtrek is known for the 3 windows. This month am having the toilet changed out to install an Ogo composting one. Would love to have the solar installed.
You guys are simply amazing! I still need help for my daughter and SIL in Bountiful who are having lift problems with a tent trailer… any slight chance you would try to tackle it? Come on, guys. You work miracles!
HELLO ..i HAVE A 2007 CHEVY 190 POPULAR, MY INVERTER IS NOT CHARGING THE AUXILLARY BATTERY WHEN CONNECTED TO SHORE POWER,, BUT IT SUPPLIES THE INSIDE POWER OF THE VAN..ANY SUGGESTION? WOULD APPRECIATE IT,,THANKS!
WHO CARES ABOUT ORIGINAL. ITS ONLY IMPORTANT BECAISE PEOPLE WANT TO BE CHEAP AND NOT PAY FOR AFTER MARKET STUFF THATS WAY BETTER. New paint job, new lights, new electrical, new beds and ac test out the shitter and shower. Lighten it as much as possible and then lift it 6 inches and convert to 4x4
I am gutting my 1997 roadtrek popular 190. All nee interior, new design with modern appliances and AC on the roof fan instead of a wall unit in the back. Back in the day they were the shit, Not no more. They take up to much room. Unless you are 5’10” and weigh no more then 160 lbs its too cramped. STOP USING MICROWAVED YOU ARE KILLING YOUR FOOD!
The curved edging is freaking awesome!
I was looking in to making a cubbie like yours where the AC unit is. Never use it, but it still works.
There is a lot of room when it's gone that's for sure

Hi Bill, we're backed up with too many major projects. Have you tried Motorsports Land or Paris RV? they might be able to help
Great video. The music is distracting💗
Sorry about that
Do you have any details about how you removed the air conditioner from the back?
We removed all the surrounding hardware and then destructively pried it out of the back (it was not functional)
So are they using the vans AC for cooling? I just got a 190 popular and was wondering.
They never used the old AC anyway - AC for driving, fans for when you're camping
Hi ,nice Job, what's the solar system components like panels , power converter
Zamp panels, Victron charger/inverter components

If you're in the Salt Lake area we'd be happy to take a look
Can you please tell me what brand of refrigerator you installed in this rig?
It's an Isotherm Cruise 130 - definitely a favorite in our shop. Available here reparadise.co/product/isotherm-cruise-130-elegance/
How much does an upgrade like that cost? I am thinking of purchasing an old Roadtrek.
Grand total was around $15k
@@Reparadise not bad. I’m saving your info.
Where are you located? Would love to do this to my 95 Roadtrek 210 P.

What year model was the van?
2002 Versatile 200
Its a shame you’re now only focused on the sprinter platform.
wait, don't you drive a sprinter?
I used to. But I sold it and now I have a Roadtrek.
Moar!!!!
hahahaha!
If you don't wax that van twice a year the paint will continue to flake off. Those vans are notorious for that. Crack and peel.
Thanks for the insight. The owner is planning on treating the van to a fresh coat of paint in the future!
