I have a 97 190 versatile. It has a toilet, fridge. AC, gas stove and microwave. I paid $14k in 2020. It only had 104k miles on it. I drive it to Mexico where I now live. It’s my 2nd favorite thing in the world besides my dog😂
We are on our send RT first was a 95 Chevy 210 Popular that I swapped in a 6.2 LS... Was longer in the tooth than we were comfortable with so last fall bought a 2005 Chevy 210 P with under 100k for $32k. We have since spent another $12,000 on Weldtec 5" suspension, rear wheel spacers, stereo, tv, new awning, new outside drawers with some stainless versions from van.life in Mississippi. Ready to hit the road soon!
New owner here. My first stop was WeldTec to enable light off road and fix tire rub. Van performed flawlessly and the belly of the beast is as intact as the day I bought it after it's first off road adventure. Thank you Jeremy! #2 upgrade will be a toilet. Accepting toilet recommendations. What should upgrade #3 be?
Laveo dry flush is what I'd get.. and a roadtrek exactly to the detail like yours.. I'm so enamored with your black beauty 😍 when it's time to regift let me know😅
That looks like a 2014 Versatile era Roadtrek. Carries 4, sleeps 4 with the front seats turned sideways. Looks like the rear seat is the power type where you can make 2 twins or 1 king size sleeping north to south. There were different options with these builds. I recently picked up a 2017 Popular with a bit over 6,000 miles for 75k. Yea expensive but it's pretty much brand new, originally sold for 96k new. Not sure I want to put a lift on it but well see.
I've shopped for a used Chevy Roadtrek for the last three years and successfully located and purchased a 2003 model based on the Chevy Express 3500. My first reaction to the video is you are way off on your suggested price. You do find them at $30k as suggested but that price is not going to present anything like the unit you filmed. While most production RV units are built on trailer trash specifications, the early Roadtreks packages are quality built using the finest material and mechanisms.
I'm 6 feet tall, and I can stand up in mine, with shoes on, without touching the ceiling. What happened to the toilet? Somebody must've taken it out, that's where the toilet goes.
Beautiful job WOW YOU ARE AMAZING WITH YOUR BUILT LET GO YOU ARE THE MAN I LOVE IT SO MUCH IT'S THE WAY TO GO WOW WOW YOU MAKE ME SAID IT'S A BEAUTIFUL BUILD AND KEEP DOING IT WOW WOW YOU ARE LEGEND IN MY EYES LET GO IAN GOING TO GET ME ONE THAT THE WAY I WILL GO WITH 💯
👀🎃 Absolutely gorgeous 🚐🏖 IMO the Classic Chevy Roadtreks Rock! W/ the upgrades, even better 👍 for $30,000…. I’ll still have enough dollars to buy the toilet for the rig 😂 shoot I’ll start off with a bucket and toilet rim 😂 Where do I pick it up this lovely beautiful beast ? 😂 IF not her, I will most definitely find my Classic Chevy Roadtrek rig 🏕🚐 hopefully at a reasonable price ✌️ Gracias
It's great for riding around town. Nowadays, I hate using public toilets, so having a vehicle with its own toilet would be nice. I can envision a waterless toilet.
Not all but most youtubers do. It's the standard "bro" look. The flat bill hat pulled down over the ears, dressed all in black with extra points if it is Monster Energy drink or MMA TapOut gear, black sneakers, high white socks, and don't forget to have the regulation tattoos. Make sure to stand with your arms crossed and have a scowl on your face so you look like a bad ass tough guy. God forbid you actually smile and try to look friendly. All these guys wear this crap thinking they are cool when most of the world is just laughing at them. The irony is that most of them will say they don't care what anybody thinks of them but in reality, they are trying so hard to fit in and impress the rest of their bro community.
I saw NO refrigerator, or a reference to one. So, I would NOT be interested. If this comes with other permanent appliances, but NO REFRIGERATOR? Nope, not for me.
When it comes to any truck, to me Chevy is at the bottom. I would never by a class B or C with a GM chassis and engine. You just made yourself irrelevant! Lol

This van looks mean with the white letters on the tires and they are BFG's!!!! I'm sold on it. Nice
I love this older roadtreks! This one is really clean too.
Yeah this is sick, thank you for sharing!!

Do you have a photo posted of your van, preferably before and after? I'd love to see them.

Awesome tour bro!! It's definitely an option!
I think so too!
I built my own road trec...and I wouldn't trade it for this one even though it's 20 years older...
I'm looking for this exact setup........Where can I buy one complete or ready to complete?
They removed the toilet, and he didn’t mention the plumbing or air conditioner above his head. My 90’ Chevy 190 Popular is still going strong
What year did the Roadtreks start looking more like the Sprinter?
Very nice rig.
I agree... but a little small for me.
This is an old post but, if you see this, does WeldTec do a 4x4 conversion on these Chevys.
WTD used to do4x4 conversions, not its just the lifts for them.

My '94 had plenty of issues. 10 years plus vehicles are going to have issues on the house side and vehicle side I think.
@@mitchellstocker8637Issues sounds negative, let's call it maintenance.

Will the doors open with the awning extended?
Great van, great amenities, great price!
I know right!

I like the 210 better has a full wet shower.
I love the roadtreks but they are expensive. To be nimble & park anywhere is the way to go. If they were $30,000 i would have one already 😂😊
Not even a regular cargo van is $30,000, they start off at around $45,000.
@@scott0551car manufacturers are insane with the pricing
@@MrYaxalot- Prices have to be high. Have you seen how much their CEO makes per year?
We bought a 2003 190 Poplar for $26k. LOVE IT.
I have an 08 roadtrek 190 for sale. Has 107k miles and needs minimal repairs. I would sell it for 30
Yes to the one ton chevy van, a real tough workhorse
Painting an RV black is turning it into an oven.
Were can I get one
Did you paint it that color or did it come that way?
it came this way.
On wow! Can I roll the window down for less than $30k?
❤WOW PARFAIT A 100 POUR 100
It has a knuckle. I’ll take it!
i like my chevy van and i live in it
The Shower will get water in the kitchen no?
I believe the curtain has a track on the ceiling and hangs to the pan
YOU COULD SURELY BUILD ME ONE WHEN I RETIRE IN TWO YEARS❤
I WOULD LOVE TO.... LET ME KNOW WHEN YOUR READY..
It would help to turn on the lights inside the van so we can see the details.
nEXT TIME I WILL MAKE SURE TO DO IT BETTER!
is it 4X4 ?
Comfort vs parking that's all.
You sacrifice Comfort for parking
With this van..I need a full bath and full kitchen
I am with you! i need a little more space then what the Roadtrek offers! Thanks for your feedback.
Gas is 5.50 a gallon in California
Why even go to California
@@leoblumhagen644because I miss your mom.
Eckspecially?
Was that a dishwasher or oven?!
That was an oven.... no diswasher in this....
Freaking Awesome!!!
Love it ❤.
NICE
What’s the point of traveling without a toilet? It’s the #1 necessity for us older drivers. Who wants to pee in the shower?
It’s an Asian squat toilet now.
Lmfao
What's MSRP?
One million dollars!!!
Hey what is a van like that worth ?? Great vid !!
MANY PEOPLE COMMETED THAT THIS WOULD BE 40-50K
I don't camp, but this rig would make a great 'bug-out' vehicle during 'fire season'.
It's great for riding around town. Nowadays, I hate using public toilets, so having a vehicle with its own toilet would be nice. I can envision a waterless toilet.
Veramente meraviglioso
Simple parking lot speed bumps that can trash your lower plastic.
All car guys dress similar, am I right? Lol
BLACK ON BLACK SO I DONT LOOK SOOOO DIRTY ALL THE TIME!

Roadtrek went out of business few years ago
N then went back in business just as quick!😊
Can you believe this, trying to put it over a ford
i WOULD TAKE A CHEVY VAN OVER A FORD VAN ANY TIME!
Those MPGs though!!!
Nice truck, but is not four wheel drive....!?
Seats 4 sleeps 2 🤔
Sleeps 4. The two font seats swivel and there is an attachment to make 2 single beds
Good luck with a black van. It'll turn into an oven in the sun light. No thanks. Should be white to reflect the heat.
Its is reall not that bad, the up keep pn the outside is more of an issue as it always looks dirty.
I saw NO refrigerator, or a reference to one. So, I would NOT be interested. If this comes with other permanent appliances, but NO REFRIGERATOR? Nope, not for me.
The fridge was in the galley area down below to the right of the sink, btw 👍🏽
It is right behind the second row on the driver side. If you see the microwave and you look directly down you will see it.
Shut up Cheryl you’re not buying regardless.
The white microwave doesn’t look good.
Terrible design..and too closed in.
Its not for me as well , just way to small...
Only get inside 6 min into video, too much waffling...
When it comes to any truck, to me Chevy is at the bottom. I would never by a class B or C with a GM chassis and engine. You just made yourself irrelevant! Lol
TH-cam Chevy vans versus Ford vans…Mechanics hands down ALWAYS choose Chevy’s. Just stating the facts…I can care either way!
THE 6.0 GAS ENGINE IN THE SHEVY IS AMAZING! WAY BETTER THEN THE 5.4 FORD.....
Very poor presentation.
And even poorer comment... GTFOH
It’s a Chevy , end of story . NO.
360k on a '07 GMC Savannah with a 6.6 Duramax. I can tell you that no matter what, your seat is a pogo stick. They suck for ride.
I DISAGREE, I have a WeldTec Designs coilover kit on my 6.6 Duramax and it rides better then a CADILAC.....
