I have said this before and I say it again: This has been worst battery bank that I have ever had. Some of those ports worked how and when they wanted... Few times it just locked out so I couldn't get it to turn on at all. I tried pressing that button tried to connect devices to it but nothing... Then it suddenly started working when I connected charger few times to it. it started to be "spicy pillow" and side panels popped off so it was starting to be dangerous so I had to throw it away. Nitecore didn't care about it when I asked... They pretty much said that I have to buy new one. Now I have those side panels on my table and battery bank thrown away. Now I have biggest Anker Prime 250W, 27650 mAh with dock and I have been really happy with it. Really sad that Nitecore couldn't stand behind their product =(
i bought their camera battery charger and it stopped charging within 3 months. Brought it back for warranty claims and Nitecore said it's not their fault and I probably spoilt the item. I argued that the charger is permanently on my desk and I've never travelled with it so far but they refused to accept my explanation. Since then i just donated all nitecore stuffs I have (including their torchlights) away.
I just got mine today! I was wondering if youve had this issue. So the battery was fully charged, and i decided to try and use it to charge my phone. Well it started off on fast charge and then after maybe 20 minutes my phone no longer wanted to fast charge. I toggled the low power mode with the white light and turned it back off, and on again. I tried my DeWalt backup battery that only has the fast charge setting and my phone started fast charging. I swapped it back over to the NB20000 and it still would only "standard" charge i guess you could say. Any idea why that would happen? I couldnt find anything in the manual about it
It probably would have better if you had recharged the battery before the review, so we could have seen the button in action. Otherwise, a useful review. I have the 10K version. Shame that both USB-C ports aren't output/charging ports, so you can't charge 2 devices using USB-C at the same time. I would want the 20K to use for long (10 hour) plane trips, to keep my battery, and my companion's battery, decently charged, so I can continue to use the phone after landing, while heading out to my final destination (which might be a few more hours yet). Oh, well ...
Why review this older version of Nitecore's 20k powerbank when there's literally a newer version named Nitecore Carbo 20000? You guys already reviewed the Carbo 10000... So... Why..?
Though it’s billed as a new version, the NB20000 is still available and is different enough to deserve a standalone review. It has double the ports and is cheaper. Maybe, if you ask nicely, we’ll review the Carbo! 😃
@@PackHacker2 nah, I'm good. Not gonna ask you to review it. I don't think it's much better than NB20000 for the reasons you mentioned anyway Thanks for replying tho

Thanks for the feedback and insights! Noted 🤙
Appreciate this review! Bummer it can't do 30W out. Finding the combination of light weight, 20000 mAh capacity and 30W+ out is my goal
The Gen 2 had 45w output via USB-C, IDK why they down graded it
Very slow considering you can get pd 3.1 these days
If you ask me
