@@BaronPilot That would be fantastic matey. I'm over on the west side of Australia. Perth is an amazing place. Come for a visit sometime, you two are more than welcome.

Chattanooga is a great little city. Try Tony’s pasta shop downtown, our favorite and before COVID would fly the short hop from Knoxville for lunch. FBO there is nice too.
I'm definitely a proponent of doing a multi-private and then multi-commercial later. It's obviously the more expensive route but you get additional supervised training and an additional check ride to make sure you're safe and competent. That was my path. Plus, multi-training makes you a better single engine pilot. I never really thought about takeoff briefings and start/stop distances for the most part until multi-training, and I asked my instructor, "why don't we do this more often in single engine flying???" Definitely would integrate that into any training of student pilots if I was a CFI.
Great video (as usual) Kris. I am working on my IFR and the hardest part for me has been getting to know my new Avidyne IFD 540! It's great to see the tips and tricks that you use! I am going to try and feature more of that in my Cirrus too, as I learn the system at QuantumFly on TH-cam! Given that we are both in Florida, I am sure we will bump into each other one day! Just not in the air. Ha Ha!
Great video! Flying from my hometown region, to where I currently live-nicely done! Next time you visit MidTN just pronounce Lebanon as Leb-uh-nun 😉😆. You'll sound like a local.
OK so you ARE in fact the luckiest man alive.... I'm not TOO jealous or anything... Beautiful day to fly also... Living the Beechlife ain't ya? Again, the joys of GA... Lets do lunch....... In Chattanooga... Awesome... It looks like Lebanon has a permanent crosswind or something... Interesting... Nice job all the way around as always.....
@@BaronPilot I always enjoyed flying in there. I flew out of KRKW in East TN, and one of my favorite things was to fly west in the evening and chase the sunset. Saw some wondrous things doing that - and the winds are often much calmer that time of day. Would often land at Lebanon, turn around and fly back to east to get in some pretty night flying.
If she is looking for a plane for going some distance regularly then there is no substitute for the Lancair IV-P. The high altitude high speed capability is just a very different class. It can basically keep up with a Cirrus Visionjet and that's saying something. Vastly distances the Bonanza. Since it doesn't have a ballistic chute you can buy a reserve personal backup chute to keep in the plane. If shit has hit the fan, it's nice to have. I just bought one, it's only 1.5kg for 80kg max load, combined with a rock climber's hip harness and skydiver glasses I figure it's that extra safety level in a plane. Synthetic vision display helps a lot too. If you fly over ocean you can add a dry suit as well and a sat phone. Nice to have over a frigid atlantic and not do the whole titanic thing.
@@BaronPilot you can get them for about 250. Even an ancient bonanza is similar price. And fractional ownership is a possibility. Split ownership with 1-3 others really cuts the cost down and it's pretty much available as if you were the sole owner.
I always wonder if the right engine gets just a wee bit jealous of Kim’s little kiss on the left engine nacelle in every video. It already must feel a little let down knowing it’s called the no. 2 engine.
It’s so crazy, nobody actually corrected us while we were there 😂 we found out late in the game that’s how it’s pronounced. To me, it just shows who the visitors are and you can’t get mad at them for not knowing. 🤷🏼♀️😉
@@flyingsic Hey, thanks for responding. Obviously how to pronounce a small town is not a critical thing, but it goes a long way in middle Tennessee. I'm guessing ya'll know people otherwise I would have thought you would have flown into John C Tune. Have a great time. I love your videos, and thank you for doing everything out loud. I am learning from that. I am in the entertainer coach business and i have a five year goal on buying and operating a cessna caravan for this industry. Its a much needed hole to be filled. Anyway, thanks again!
@@astorp12345 unfortunately locals can take offense by not pronouncing correctly, even if it is unintentional (didn’t happen this time) so we try and respect that, if we know. Natalie is from Nashville and she regularly flies into M54 and knows the employees as family. That’s awesome idea, I hope it works well for you!

I follow many of the major TH-cam pilots and sail boaters. As you are aware, we have been in a pandemic since March. Being in the company of people we don't live with inside an enclosed area without a mask is dangerous. The 'Finer Points' & 'MOJO Mike' utilize masks. Any thoughts on why most do not? I am all for having fun and a good time with health and safety in mind.
I too was also through the video believing it was from a previous year and that I had missed it. A bit shocked to say the least. Especially in the FBO. Do recognize that when in the cabin for that long , in close quarters like that, it would be isolation in the days prior rather than a mask in that environment that would be the safe avenue. Guessing that did not happen either. Nice to have videos to take in these days. But would appreciate having you around for the long term....
