We’ve stumbled across many wonderful FBOs through the years. One of the most enjoyable ones that really goes over the top in decorations and aviation-themed nostalgia is at Pueblo, CO. Another is rather obvious here in Texas but deserves a mention, Fredericksburg, TX. Was a little bummed yesterday when I flew into General Dewitt Spain in Memphis, TN yesterday rather than Millington (which until yesterday was my normal go-to there at Tulsair because of their incredible service). Tulsair had closed since my last visit and so I decided to try Dewitt Spain. Walked into the FBO and there was the former manager from Tulsair. Quite a nice surprise because he gives such good service.
Why was that controller so insistant to take you left? I dont understand that one. Cool that you had the option to cancel ifr. Its cool when the wing cam is shooting a frame rate that is close to prop rpm and the prop appears realoy slow or stopped, cool affect!
Beverly is a nice small airport. I live right next door to the airport. When I owned a upholstery shop near there I did a lot of plane interiors out there.
Stumbled across a a rerun of an old Sky King TV show. I loved watching it wayback in the 50s. Was wondering if you or any of your subs remember or know what type of plane the Songbird was. I knew back when I was a kid but can’t remember now. It peaked my interest in planes and flying so now I get my fix of flying from your channel.
That is crazy weather out there again. Nice handling of you both. Sometimes you have to make decisions you may not like, but as long as it is safe and sticks to the rules, you should be fine. Thank you for taking us along again. Love your chemistry and the little jokes, when you are not busy flying. Greetings from EDKB, Germany, Andy.
As a licensed radio operator I paid close attention to the communications between Tower and plane. Enjoy the chatter. Always looking for comparisons and ways to improve our Communications by the way y'all communicate. Enjoyed it very much so. Thanks again.
What type of FBO are you looking for? Ours is small but our beloved manager for decades passed away about a year ago. His family isn't that excited about renting airplanes and owning an FBO in a small town. I am sure it is available or the right person with a passion. Airport is KMXO in Iowa. The repair service shop is very well respected in this area.
Nice flight, cells didn’t look bad, but..... Out of your intended direction and adding time/distance to the trip, so good call. Still don’t know why they could t have given it to you after asking again though. Oh well....worked out going VFR!
Always a pleasure to join you guys for these flights, nicely handled about the weather, nice training moment. Not sure if you did it for "youtube reasons", but there's about 45 seconds of billboard with no sound at the end of the video for me...

Hey Kris & Kim! Great stuff as always! Been slacking on the vids lately - my apologies. Great music in the intro and outro - had a little late 80's metal sound to it. Sweet!! I'll be headed down to the great state of FL for paramotor trike training towards the end of April, so looks like 2021 is going to be my year to fly solo!! Can't wait!!!
@@flyingsic - Unfortunately I’m just missing Sun n Fun by days. I’ll be in Wauchula about five days after it ends. Wish I could’ve combined the trip, but the logistics just didn’t work out. I wish when you asked for good reason to not be given the deviation you asked for that her answer would have been more than just I think my way is better than yours because everyone else was making it through there. Some of those cells grow very fast and I don't blame you one bit for your choice of cancellation. Thanks for sharing this and until next time. 😁
Nice flight! You guys are so easy to understand :D I like that :) One question I got is what are these two frames in the front where the eagle is in the middle?
Hey. Love your videos. I’m an instrument student with a question trying to grasp all these new concepts... Would you have been able to request vfr of top and keep you Ifr clearance instead?
