We were PGD last week. We had to come via Allegiant. We were visiting a friend at FL59. We left KLOU it 19f and 14" of snow! Would have much preferred to have flow something personal into RSW. FL59 is public use but unless you live in Buckingham to have the gate opener. I looked around but didn't see 75W anyplace!
Kim, Great work on the radios. You have been practicing. Nice to see you are getting comfortable with the avionics. This will make the actual learning while flying easier. Continued success with your flight training👍
You guys are so cute!! The views are amazing. Adsb weather gives us an idea of precipitation but delayed, perfect example on this flight. Now I want some pickles 😂 were they dill pickles? Thanks Kim!
Nice flight guys! I really liked the IFR portion of the flight. It continues to amaze me how you are able to edit your VID's with multiple camera angles & make them look so smooth and sync'd perfectly! It must take a lot of effort & a good editing software to do that. Thanks again for sharing! :-) Don/NE Ohio
Love your channel.......I watch them all. Hope you guys will one day fly in to KCRE. Would love to meet you and Kim. And Kim if you don’t mind I am going to slap a BARON engine badge to my forehead lol
..no pickles on my pepperoni pizza please...only with my roast beef sandwich..thanks again for sharing.. and as always.. enjoyed you two..and your video..
Indeed it will change mobile communications. Not going to a cheap install however. A phased array antenna system isn’t inexpensive to begin with then you get it certified for aircraft? So start at 2 or 3 grand and then add the certificate tax which can be multiples of the base price. Your average corporate jet won’t notice but the common GA flying a bug smasher sure will.
Full starlink kit with the antenna is 499$, it's even built in to Tesla's to push updates and use it for services. Getting it certified is probably going to be the main issue
G,day Baron Pilot from Sydney Australia. Great flight with some good LCD images for interpretation- Thanks. Q1. Are you going to paint the drywall in the hanger? " thanks for taking us alone".
That was kinda Tense for me as well in Montgomery ALABAMA, I'll have a pickle the next time i tune in to watch you and your wife.Never the less i injoyed it.Thanks for another GREAT video, jjmjam in Montgomery ALABAMA 👍👍👍👍🤤😁
Kim - what's up with #FlyingSIC's right "wing" (arm)? If you are looking for sympathy, sending you a "poor baby" 🩹. Kris, maybe someday you can upgrade that in-flight radar to a color model. Love the song! For other #BaronPilot music fans, it's "Three Letters" from Velvethead, available on Spotify.
Oh no, I only thought she was your wife because both of you are like bread and butter peanut butter and jelly.I still injoy your video's.Thank you both again 👍👍😁
@@haywardsteve- Well, if she is going to start taking flying lessons, she will soon be PIC. So, she possibly should start a channel named flying PIC. I’m not sure how she gets new content when Barron Pilot already posts her flying as SIC. How’s that work? Regards.
Although Manfred Mann made it popular, that song was written and recorded first by Bruce Springsteen, where Springsteen's “ ‘cut loose like a deuce’ is replaced with ‘revved up like a deuce’ (from wiki).” But you likely already knew that. Luv your in-n-out of IMC trips.
Great new vLog. Love the weather episodes. BTW, It is set! Island hopping and diving Bahamas June 2021, kicking it off first leg to Staniel Cay......Check your FB messenger KP.
I've subscribed to the channel for about a year and a half now and really enjoy the aviation content. This video is the first that had content I didnt care for. Pimping the approach controller over the radio and on the video was uncalled for and very unprofessional. I went back and re-watched the interaction with him before I commented. When you questioned him as to his intent, he stated the data he had available that he was basing his decision on. When you asked to cut the corner ge acted quickly and efficiently to get you what you needed. He deserves thanks for getting you what you needed, and now an apology for the uncalled for comments. Please dont teach Kim that it is ok to be a jerk in the radio.
Thank you for watching and for subscribing. Let me say that I was not bashing the controller. As a subscriber you should know that I give controllers love and praise on nearly every video I put out. I asked for intentions as I did not want to be vectored out for the approach with the oncoming weather. Clearly he didn’t see the weather, which is a great example of the limitations of ads-b weather which is also what the controller gets.
You got to quit filming after grabbing her elbow so hard. You got to be nicer to the SIC. Glad to here her progress with Sport's video. Good radio work SIC.
For VFR flights, Eastbound at at odd thousands plus 500', Westbound at even thousands plus 500'. This was a (pop-up) IFR flight; I assume (not yet being instrument rated!) that ATC assigns altitudes according to traffic and other considerations, and probably avoids 500' levels, but doesn't need to worry about Eastbound vs Westbound since they control the whole IFR shebang anyway.
Anything that has 3 letters causes problems... But even after 100+ years of flying why in the hell ATC still has no clue about weather??? It's called mother...
You 2 are a hoot. You play off each other so well and its usually funny too :)
Another excellent video sir
Myself and my daughter Poppy, who's 6, love watching you both 🏴

Yes Kris, E2’s are very cool (worked them for 20 years). Thanks for the vid. Beautiful Florida layer flying.
Chris, In the last video I watched. You had an issue with the landing gear. Can you describe what the ended up being? Just curious.
Great flying with a great co-pilot. Kim’s radio skills are awesome.
Kim,

Thanks guys, the reality with any aviation is what you see is meant to be real right. Thanks for sharing. Hope the Chanel keeps growing.
Love how you adapted with the weather.....great video
I am subscribed and my thumbs are up. Thank you guys for sharing. I know these videos are a lot of work.
Thank you for subscribing and for the thumbs up 👍🏼
@@BaronPilot Actually, I've been subscribed for a long time. I thoroughly enjoy your videos.
Great flight like allways, merci
Great seeing Kim again. Missed her the last few flights. She got everything said in that mouthful of information. Great job!
Nice flight.. Pickles and pepperoni. lol Way to go..

Thank you 😊
Hey there. Love the new music. Great song.
Love you guys! Fly safe. Followed you a long time Baron! Yep! Yep! LOL
You guys are so fun to watch
Pucker factor to the max on that landing, your face gives it away! Nice job!
Nice catch of the E-2 Hawkeye while you were taxiing.
Kim's radio work really improved! Nice work!
Enjoy the videos nice landing with the gust on short final
Kim, cant wait for you to take the controls and show Chris how its done, good job and a great video
Great flight thanks for sharing it with us.
Sporty landing!!!
Lol looked like ya had your hands full on that landing. Nice job!
The E-2D you filmed on your camera landing at St. Augustine was manufactured at Northrop Grumman St Augustine.
No precipitation, there's no precipitaion in sight !I heard about these inboard radar delays too which can be treacherous !
Nice Hooters!
Kim was in the groove!
Are these two HUDs on the dashboard near the windsreen ?
Love your channel.......I watch them all. Hope you guys will one day fly in to KCRE. Would love to meet you and Kim. And Kim if you don’t mind I am going to slap a BARON engine badge to my forehead lol
I love flying in between layers.
Guess what?! I was watching the Pope ,TH-cam brought to my attention a new video of your adventures. So , pretty cool.🛩️😑🙂🙂

I see Grumman is still busy out of St. Augustine.
It will be interesting what starlink will do for small aircraft. Can you say livestream 😀👍🏻

What happened to the plan to swap for an Aero Shrike Commander?
What days do you plan to be be at sun and fun this year?
Kim's right arm in a brace???
Good to see you guys

You guys are awesome ! :)
Great treat for Sunday. Pickles AND ice cream?
Another successful with first officer Kim in the right seat. Safe Travels
Nice AWACS flying by! Do you use a RAIN-X type product on the windshield? Sporty landing...that’s one way to describe it.
Still trying to convince my wife to do coms. Great videos!

Twisting the tongue on crosswind landings makes them easy! ;-)
What is the limitation that causes delay of weather radar on ADSB? Seems like that should be solvable with modern technology.
Processing time. Radar image has to be downloaded, processed and then uploaded to add-b only to be downloaded by a ads-b device.
Looks like someone loves you Kris. Welcome back btw
Kim what do you have on your right forearm? Is this to keep from bumping your elbow inside plane?
i though she hurt her other arm what kind of brace is that on your arm
Hello from Reunion, I see Kim is having a hard time to get rid of her tennis elbow. There's a solution for big improvement with a daily exercise .
Hi Chris i have a b55 and we are looking for 2 io-470L by any chance do you know where I could find a pair?
I went with Factory Remanufactured from continental. I highly recommend it.
Got to get my wife on board with this
Pickles and pepperoni ..... say what!!! Not allowed on my flight deck!
Hey Kim, are those bags "Coach" LOL
Was pickle and pepperoni code for anything??
it must have been...
She's got the hard part, radios, nav etc figured out. Time to pay for lessons!
Pickles and pepperoni good combination
5:07 Okay, tell us whose song that is.
What happened to Kim's arm?
wow different weather
What is on Kim’s right arm?
Believe it or not rain does not appear instantly on our radar. Usually takes a little bit more intensity for us to see light rain.
What I would like to know is what happened to pretty Kim's right arm?
Landed it like a Baron
Your arms must get sore when you do crosswind landings????
What shirt are you wearing, I want one.
Like Valley girl airlines.
9:37 “As soon as you point him out, I see him.” 🤔

My daughter is obsessed with pickles.

White plane with a gray background are hard to see.

..dont you feel like Marylin Monroe...! Bahh
Altitudes were 9000 and then 5000. Shouldn’t they have been even thousands?
