As a bald man, I had worn a hair piece for about 10 years. It was so light weight and had the screen type top and you could part it anywhere, but the hair line was not nearly as nice as yours. However, it was great. I never had to wear a hat in the summer and my head was never hot, and in the winter it kept my head warm. I would think at times a persons head would get hot wearing a full wig, but the one you show are stunning.

My advice? Get one asap! Because my hair was getting so thin I was beconing a recluse and didn't want to be seen in public. My topper is silver stone from Godiva and has restored my self esteem.

I love what you did with this topper, blending it in with your natural hair. Could you do a video showing how to cut the lace in front and show how you cut and style it? I do like the stand you use for styling your wigs too. I use a styrofoam head and pins to attach it and then I style it but its very difficult to do. Thank you so much for your videos, they make me feel like I'm not alone in the world with thinning hair.

Very nice! The only issue for me would be the color match. On camera it looks like a warm gray. My natural color is more like yours in front but salt and pepper in the back in cooler tones.

Are these lightweight toppers available in other lengths and in other natural gray shades? My gray is much more silver/white, probably similar to your bio hair. Are they returnable if the color is different in person?
They are returnable as long as the lace has not been cut and they have not been altered. Yes they come in differnet lengths and as all human hair they are meant to be cut to your likes and they can also be bleached and colored. This company listed in my description also makes custom orders. Just reach out to them!

Is there a big rubber or plastic piece that is on your forehead? It looks like the topper has a rubber piece on your forehead. Is that what it is supposed to look like? Love your channel.
It comes that way, then you cut the lace off. As I do in the video.

I just bought a topper, I just wish I would have bought a lace top now. I'm losing hair in the front, and can't cover it. I also bought a piece to put in front to compensate for the missing hair. Hopefully that will help.

Does the silver grey topper you modeled come in different shades of grey. My hair is a lighter silver grey with minimal dark strands more so on the nape of my neck… it’s more noticeable when I twist my hair up…does the link show samples of the silver topper collection… to be custom-made would be well over $1,000…. I don’t have a lot of eyebrows that seems like the end sort of just disappeared and recently I started using castor oil and putting that on my well I use it for my whole face. I always put it on my neck when I go to sleep at night. oh yeah, make sure you put it on at night time when you go to bed and not under your make up it’s too thick but it’s penetrate your skin and it really helps I’m 66 and it’s really helped with the texture my skin wrinkles, and fine lines, I love it the eyebrows what I like to use on my eyebrows is Maybelline tattoo studio and I wear it in a number 300 which is a top color like a light blind Toby color and I just brush it on and that’s it

It's the lace that the wig is made with when they hand tie it. That part is cut off as I didn't further in the video

Mel I have very thin, fine hair that is still blonde, darker now but I am 84 , I have tried grey, short wigs, but nothing looks right. I would like a wig that has darker blonde with silver. I hav area of about 2 inches from the bottom up with no hair. I am at a loss and a very active woman and 🥺 don't know what to do.
Do you have more of a light(almost white) grey?

I'm a bit anxious to wear a wig or topper, as it's very windy where I live and I'd imagine you can all the netting underneath if there's a big gust of wind.
I too live in a windy place. It's has never been a problem. The key is buying a wig that is closed cap or wear a full wig cap underneath that blend with the hair.

I'm not sure, blending in my bio hair with a short synthetic. I haven't tried a short synthetic topper. Maybe in the future!
I love Uniwigs topper, from all the vi that I saw. The problem is for me they have nothing in platinum, which is my color. I need a mid length topper, and the vanilla butter blonde is not light enough. I’m 72 and not gray, either, but am platinum. I wish they made the Aura and Courtney toppers in platinum or white blonde. I would buy it in an instant.

Can you get these toppers in white? I’ve always been a blonde & as I aged, I frosted my hair lighter & lighter to blend in with the white hair.
They do customized toppers. If you go to their site you can request the color. This is human hair and can be colored or bleached. You can have it don’t with a stylist you trust who can cut it to your preferred style. I didn’t to that to this topper yet.

I can tell you it does fine in the Dutch Wind and Texas Wind. But you have given me a good idea for another video!
Please show cutting the lace. Do you need to use any glue?
No glue needed. I can only show how in videos already filmed in my play list. It's the same on all lace. Be brave! And just cut slowly and about an 1/8" from the hair/knots. I use small scissors that have that curve. You can do it❣️
You said it is possible to add clips (in front), but I wonder if it is possible to take away the clips from the back so we can lie down with the wig without pain on the scalp?
Probably not the best for laying down in.

Human hair is so heavy and good synthetics are amazing. I worked in a wig shop for years and customized so many synthetics and human hair. Sometimes the human hair is hard to style and hangs limply. Yours is nice but I could tell it was a wig as it had odd movement. You look beautiful. Just saying human hair is not better and not for everyone.
I like my synthetics better too! Easy to maintain and hold up longer

I was trying it on before I cut it off. It’s the edge of the lace. The topper is hand sewn and the front part is cut off for your own personal preference.
