- Learning how to wear your first hair topper can be very challenging. There are multiple ways to wear it. You can wear it directly at your front hairline or slightly behind your hairline. Everyone needs to play around and find what works best for them. I hope this video is helpful.

I’m absolutely in love with my silk topper from you!! I had it cut professionally to how I used to wear my hair before it started falling out and thinning, and it made a world of difference! Like you, I wear mine like you first showed…no hair pulled out and just about a 1/4 inch (if that) back. I’ve gotten compliments many times over on how they love the color and cut! Not one person has ever questioned whether or not it was a topper! Although I’d be fine in telling them 🥰 I wear mine proudly because it makes me feel like myself again!

I'm so glad I found this video. I just got ny first topper and its a mono top 18 inch with no layering at all. I really want the face feaming kayers or bangs like you have in the first topper you showed. I cant afford to take it to a stylist, and no one near me works with wigs or toppers anyway. Can you please describe or show us how the layers are cut and how its curled like that? That would be a lifesaver! Thank you beautiful!❤
Hi there! Yes almost all toppers (depending on their size) need to be “cut in”. Meaning they need to be cut to frame your face or simply cut to match up with your bio hair. It’s almost never a “one size fits all” right out of the box. I’m linking a video here for how I curl them. I know the expense of toppers adds up but if a local stylist can cut it for you it should only be the same price as a regular haircut.

The first one is my personal one I had done and it doesn’t really have a color name. I sell ones similar very often but not exactly like it. The second one is the color Andie.

@@colettejaques2559 I had it custom colored for me and I did not list this exact topper color on my website so there was no need to name it. 😉 The base color of hair that I purchase from my supplier is one I am not able to get a large supply of. I have my colorist custom color the toppers and then I name them before listing on website. I hope that makes sense. 😚

I list new toppers about twice a month
I am growing out my grey ( white) hair due to recent hair loss . I currently have about 2 inches of white roots & shoulder length dark brown hair. I am considering a topper because I am very unhapoy with the growing out process. Good to know I dont have to blend my own hair with the topper.
Yes. It can be tricky and if you want to cover all of your hair you do have to use a larger base topper. I suggest at least a 7x8. But I let my grays grow out quite a bit with no issues at all

@@wendy8561 isn’t it maddening? If I had thick hair I would totally embrace the grays. I see so many women with gorgeous gray hair. But when it’s this thin… it just doesn’t work. I began wearing toppers due to thin hair. I had thin hair my whole life but the it thinned dramatically due to lupus meds and also aging I believe. Since then I’ve become completely gray (if in stopped coloring) thankfully toppers cover my roots and I can go much longer between coloring if I want to

I'm new to topper's. I have hair like yours, not super thin. I probably want one that is shoulder length and straight, blonde. what front looks the most natural? some have a clip in the front and some don't - does that matter? thanks.
Honestly so much of this comes down to preference. And a lot of the time it takes time to learn what your preference is. I prefer silk top toppers. The key with a silk topper to look natural in the front is all about the cut on the topper and styling of the front area. Leaving out just a tiny amount of hair in the front does wonders. However most of the time I don’t leave my hair out. Lace front toppers can look very very natural in the front but with a lace front topper most women have to glue or tape down the front. So just up to each person as to whether you want to bother with that. In regards to the comb in front - I honestly feel like clips in the front are more bothersome than a comb but not everyone feels the same. The good thing is that regardless of whether it comes with a comb or clips you can always switch them out. I hope this info helps. Let me know if any further questions. 😊

My toppers all do not lay flat at the front. There's a gap, so you can clearly see it's a topper. I have moved my clips around, but will not lay flat.
What kind of topper do you wear? Silk topper or mono toppers? Some suggestions would be a topper grip and or adjusting where you set the cap and where you clip it on. Whether at front hairline or a smidge behind. You may have already tried these things as well. Do u have a small amount of bio hair to pull out in the front to cover the gap?
How do you determine the width of the hair topper? Does the width depend on your head size or amount of coverage or the amount of hair loss you have? I wear hair extensions clip ins ..and bought 3 inch wide for height .Any thoughts I would appreciate from you. Thank you
Great question. You want to make sure that the topper is large enough to clip into the thicker hair that you have. So for example if you have a very sparse part line that has extended 2-3 inches out from your part then you don’t want to get a topper that will clip into the most fragile area. That is why I prefer to sell larger base toppers. Most, but not all, of my toppers are 8x8. Meaning the base is 8 inches across and 8 inches from front to back. This makes the topper clips clip into my thicker hair which is further away from my part line. Every topper size can be different for different situations. But if a lady has a very thin part then getting a topper that is a 3x5 base would mean it would clip into the already thinning part line which would cause more hair loss. So a good rule is to measure the size of your hair thinning and make sure the size of the topper is larger than your thinning area. 😊

Depends on many factors. Synthetic or human hair. Hair texture and length. There are a few topper companies that range around $500 but those may not last as long because of the Hair quality used. The toppers I sell average around $1000. They can last well over 2 years. Even many years longer with proper care.

If you are looking for human hair that’s more budget friendly then I would suggest uniwigs. I sell toppers and my company is Toss Hair Collection but it’s a higher grade of hair and not in everyone’s budget.
