The problem is that none come in a large cap. I'm actually looking for a mid length wig in white, but need a large cap. Believe me, there is NOTHING on the market in white, mid length and large cap. Also, I don't like wigs with any permatease, so looking for mono as well. All of the wigs in the video look cute on you, BTW!

The years during lockdown for me was rough. I gained a lot of weight. A year ago, I changed to a high protein diet. I am going to incorporate more weight training exercises this year along with flexibility training for my hips. I lost about 25 lbs last year. I hope to keep it up. This year I began drinking mushroom coffee and I add chocolate collagen to it. I’m more focused. I added protein powder with PB powder and a protein drink to make a smoothie. I need about 130 grams of protein a day. It’s working and I feel better.
Hello! Thank you for modeling all of the different wigs. I didn’t see any of the questions I have in the comments. I hope you don’t mind my asking a few. I am new to the wig world, and I don’t understand all of the verbiage yet, or the different ways women wear their wigs. Some use a cap, and glue, and powder to fill in areas, yet you used none of these. Can you educate me on these points? Also, I would appreciate if you could talk about how you care for your wigs. Do you put them on forms, tripods or other? How do you care for them? I recently purchased a topper from a hair specialist, she sold me everything I needed, including the shampoo and conditioner,Wig brush, comb, spray and wig form. I guess there is a lot of humidity in my home, although I did not keep It in the bathroom, a few hair strands started falling out, and it was becoming brittle. She gave me a full refund of everything. I didn’t return it all solely bc of these issues, but bc my hair on my crown is so thin, I thought the clips would pull it out further. I am a recently turned 60 yo woman, who has always had fine hair, but aot of it. I am a working professional, and it is embarrassing to me that my hair is now thinning at an alarming rate. I would appreciate any advice you could offer, from your experience. Thanks ☺️

All of them look great on you, really liked the 2nd one, but honestly your color is much better than the wigs, why not just grow yours a little longer and styke it, your hair is just a beautiful white shine
Have ordered 3 wigs in the past, i am finding that there is just too much hair on them, making them look fake on me, i have thin hair and the too much hair is not a good look on me. Hearing you use the word density, is there a wig that has a small density? Thank You.
For the ample “Star” in this video is low density. It’s hand tied so no permatease and it lays like real hair. The more wefts then there needs to be some permatease to disguise the wefts or if the style calls for volume. Look for hand tied caps and monofilament tops. My first wig was a mistake. Too much volume. Also, it takes up to months to desensitize yourself. Meaning you need to wear your wigs everyday, look in the mirror often. Take selfies. See yourself in the wig. Soon it becomes your norm. Not the way you are used to seeing yourself. Wear it to the mailbox, wear it to the store. Soon you forget to be worried that someone might look at you. My advise, wear a wig, wear a smile! It’s the smile they will see and remember.

They maybe all different wigs, but she puts each wig on and combs it into the same style! Tucking one side behind ear combing back bangs. What’s the point? Would loved to have seen those pretty wigs styled differently.
The ear tuck is to demonstrate that the density is low enough to do so. The combing back is to show it differently than just bangs and to show the hairline.

I think Select Soft by Ellen Wille, (not Raquel Welch,) was number 3, and Link was number 5. I have Link, and it's an asymmetrical cut with an open cap and side mono part. Number 3 was cute and very natural, but not Link. Thank you for showing these lovely styles.

What a refreshing voice. All the screaming, shattering voiced of anchors...I won't go on. I loce Raquel Welch wigs. Street clothes depend on head too. You could teach anything.
They have different wig cap construction, density, Wefted vs hand tied. Permatease vs no permatease. Different colors. They are different short length. There are a lot of choices in even similar styles.
Mel, I wear glasses which makes the wigs look different around my face.....would you demo your wigs with your glasses. please....and one other thing.....the hair framing your chin is only good when you have a beautiful lean neck, which you do, but honestly accentuates a not so lovely soft chin and neck line which you want to draw the eye away from. The eye is always drawn to where the hair ends.....bangs bring out the eyes....so keep that in mind for the aging wig wearers....I enjoyed this video...

You look great in all of them. Ellen Wille is my favorite manufacturer. Her pieces are less dense which I like. I tend to be a topper person. I have wigs but wear toppers more. I would think a closed top might get hot. Ellen Wille would definitely be too small for me. My own hair is pretty much like star but unfortunately thinner. Love you own super short hair too!

Synthetic wigs are great in wind and rain! Only use sprays and shampoo made for synthetic fibers. Wash as usual with synthetic shampoo. Air dry!

I don’t understand the negative comments, some people just are not happy people and don’t want your beauty or your talent of showing and explaining these wigs to be heard. I enjoyed hearing about each one of these wigs, and I’m not even looking for a one. I thought it was just interesting to hear your views on these pretty styles. I don't know why people get behind a keyboard and post what they do. I just focus on friends like you that keep me inspired to keep making video's and helping others.
I love them all on you! I would get them in more of an Auburn coloring in the short low density which I feel more comfortable. Honestly they just give a very flattering look! I love them all. Thank you for taking the time and showing the attributes of each style, I own 1 wig and see the difference in how zi look and feel.

I think Select Soft by Ellen Wille, (not Raquel Welch,) was number 3, and Link was number 5. I have Link, and it's an asymmetrical cut with an open cap and side mono part. Number 3 was cute and very natural, but not Link. Thank you for showing these lovely styles.

All the wigs look great on her but they are also very similar in style.
They have different wig cap construction, density, Wefted vs hand tied. Permatease vs no permatease. Different colors. They are different short length. There are a lot of choices in even similar styles.
Mel, I wear glasses which makes the wigs look different around my face.....would you demo your wigs with your glasses. please....and one other thing.....the hair framing your chin is only good when you have a beautiful lean neck, which you do, but honestly accentuates a not so lovely soft chin and neck line which you want to draw the eye away from. The eye is always drawn to where the hair ends.....bangs bring out the eyes....so keep that in mind for the aging wig wearers....I enjoyed this video...

I am happy to be back, I flew to The U.S. a couple weeks ago and got my husbands nasty cold. Then passed it on to my Dad here and brother. Ugh! So it’s taken a bit to get well again and back to work. May your New Year to kinder too❣️❣️❣️

The confidence or the experience having done so. I trim my bangs or just the end’s myself. Have you googled for wig shops that often have people trained?
@@MelsBeAgeless I asked my hair dresser..she does not and didn't know of anyone. I tried trimming bangs on one of mine...it has been donated to a theater group

You look great in all of them. Ellen Wille is my favorite manufacturer. Her pieces are less dense which I like. I tend to be a topper person. I have wigs but wear toppers more. Just don’t like anything on my neck. Can I ask what the lipstick is you’re wearing? I like it. I’m 77 and my coloring is like yours, silver hair and lighter skin. Thanks.

Mel Loved your video and love your look, you are beautiful! when I looked up Link, it is not 100% hand tied, Link shows online as a basic wefted wig with a mono part and lace front.

I would think a closed top might get hot. Ellen Wille would definitely be too small for me. My own hair is pretty much like star but unfortunately thinner. Love you own super short hair too!

Great video, Mel! I can understand how hard it would be to pick a favorite. All the wig styles you highlighted are so beautiful, and appear comfortable to wear and easy to style. I do like the Ellen Willa wigs. I like her pixies and the longer bob. I could be wrong, but I think EW wigs might be more affordable than RW wigs. There are some great sales going on just now too.
