Jill, I have 3 of these toppers in different shades from RWelch, and I am a retired hairdresser, salon owner that helped people with hair replacement for many years. Wearing them myself helped to understand what the client needed and experienced. One good thing I’d like to pass on is a product called GOT2B glued. It’s a yellow tube of gel. You lay it on your hairline or skin with finger or brush, you will be amazed how strong a hold it is. You can reactivate it with a touch of water. I have sometimes lined the lace front with a little hair tape and then the gel on top- it also helps keep the lace front cleaner and protected. I’ve used this product for well over 5 years with ZERO issues. Inexpensive and cleans up well! Try it! No insecurities, and love that I have hair on my head!( a hairdresser with no hair is not a good thing)😩😊
Thank you, Patty! I have to say...I am not a fan of GOT2B glued. I have preferred the IT STAYS , and have used it with great success since 2017. ❤ I feel it is much more gentle on my skin and my hair. I can lift off my pieces without any stress to my skin, my hair, or the piece itself. I found the GOT2B glued didn't give me the same experience.
And it’s ok, Jill, I dilute so it’s not so thick and it’s another option when people can’t get another. I started using It Stays in theatre as the costume/hair designer, and was impressed as well! Thank you for commenting on this😊

sweetie im 59 menopausal my hair has thinned out i was tossing up wether to get a topper or a wig and i noticed my hair was receeding and i have big ear lobes (thanks dad ) so i thought what the heck i bought a wig an topper and i love em i put one on the other day my husband said it looks nice so ladies if your hairs thining get a wig it will boost your confdence too God bless all the women world wide and the menopausal ladies like me 😊❤👍👵💐

Wow, that is so, so natural and looks so good, hair is lighter on top anyway, I have a lot less hair then you have, after my breast radiation it started to fall again ( I wonder when it will stop or if it will stop ), I have been scared of ordering a topper and then have to send it back, here in Toronto we already had 43 degrees ( I think it's around 100 or maybe a touch more ) and wigs are warm even with up dos...maybe I will try a topper this summer...thanks Jill, that is a beautiful, youthful hair, natural and fresh, thanks for showing us how to put it on...hugs.
That looks phenomenal realistic and beautiful!!!! You should wear it more often. It suits you so well. Those toppers are perfect for women with thinning hair whow wearing ponytails all the time anyway. This have such an impact....wow. beautiful. You've been very helpful. I once tried a topper years ago - my hair is similar to yours, maybe thinner. Anyway, at that time, the wig store (I attended in person) advised me that the clips would damage my hair so I didn't buy. I guess products have improved.

I have frontal fibrosing alopecia. I have been wearing wigs, but getting too hot. I am new to toppers and looking at lace front. That looks like your real hair! I have RW wigs, now going to look for that topper. Yku look beautiful

Love this. I have a similar topper but waiting for my back to grow out, because it’s been pixie style for a few years. My hair in front is really thin and around my crown is getting spots of baldness. I’m pretty sure it’s medication I was on, because it happened to others in the same medication. I will I could afford more toppers but now I have 3 and it’s all I can work with. But this helped me to make sure it’s secure! You are very pretty in blond too!❤

Thank you for making this video about toppers 💜! Wigs can definitely get hot in the summer and I want to try out a topper. Also, instead of a root powder, I've always used an inexpensive drug store brand of dark brown matte eye shadow to match my dark brown hair/wig. It's never been a problem for me, it always stays where I put it.
Hmm, I have grey hair. Wonder which powder would look best? I have pink scalp showing. I need to try toppers. Wigs drive me nuts after a couple of hours, itchy at the neckline, tight, etc. That looks totally natural! Lovely.

Thank goodness your video rolled into my feed. I’ve been needing something to cover my bald patches but I was looking at wigs and I live in the Deep South it’s hot and very humid and I know a wig wouldn’t work I didn’t know they made toppers lol I must live under the rock for sure . Hi, this topper is beautiful as are you! Just wondering if the cap part is curved and concave a bit or just flat across the front? I have one here, can remember the brand or style, but it is flat and the sides always buckle which is a nuisance.
This is my first time watching one of your videos. It will not be the last! I’m 75 years old and have been losing my hair for years now. It’s been awful! The reasons could be many! I’ve let it grow long bc, frankly, I can do more with it: ponytails, buns, etc., even though my hair is thin. My hair loss is on top, crown & sides. Having the contrasting colors wouldn’t be a problem for me bc I have pretty much all gray in the front/top but dark in the back/bottom. When I was younger, I had thick, dark curly hair. Yes, I have naturally curly hair. But these days, it’s more frizz than curl. I’m trying to grow out a bad cut. As it gets long enough, I trim the ends. Eventually, I’ll get all of them! If I try to cut all at one time, my hair will be too short to wear up. I just have to be patient. My hair grows. It’s just thin. I was trying to find the products you mentioned and would like to view some other videos. Also what tips you might have for curly, wavy hair. Although these days, I don’t wear too much curly. I live in the south East where it’s hot and humid in the summer. As a matter of fact, it seems we’re going straight from winter into summer with unseasonably warm temperatures already (in the 80s!!! UGH!!) Anyway, great job on your video! Keep up the good work. From reading the comments, you’re helping a lot of people! God bless you!

I am in that "transition" being in my latter 40's and just want something easy and I think toppers could help me out. Can you buy clips and sew them in yourself? The clips on my topper are like small combs and they don’t work? There is no clip part.

I have frontal fibrosing alopecia. I have been wearing wigs, but getting too hot. I am new to toppers and looking at lace front. That looks like your real hair! I have RW wigs, now going to look for that topper. Yku look beautiful
I really appreciate that you took your time and did everything slowly so I could watch and understand. I am planning on getting a topper for the first time and I'm not sure it would be a good idea and you answered so many questions for me with this video. This is so pretty and helpful! I had been researching wigs - even ordered a few different ones from Amazon, but sent them all back - but didn't like how the transition was so drastic! Going through my second round of "covid hair shedding" in less than a year, and don't know how much more hair I can stand to loose! This looks like such a more realistic and natural option. Love this. I have a similar topper but waiting for my back to grow out, because it’s been pixie style for a few years. My hair in front is really thin and around my crown is getting spots of baldness. I’m pretty sure it’s medication I was on, because it happened to others in the same medication. I will I could afford more toppers but now I have 3 and it’s all I can work with. But this helped me to make sure it’s secure! You are very pretty in blond too!❤
yes, it stays was made for stockings! works great with that as well as hair.

Thank you for making this video about toppers 💜! Wigs can definitely get hot in the summer and I want to try out a topper. Also, instead of a root powder, I've always used an inexpensive drug store brand of dark brown matte eye shadow to match my dark brown hair/wig. It's never been a problem for me, it always stays where I put it.

Jill, As an older nurse I would like to pull my hair back as you did in a pony to keep it out of my face, and neat. I have a cool brown hair color, and I joke I inherited my mother's fine "cat" hair so this topper is highly interesting to me. Thank you!
I'm brand new to this stuff, so please excuse my ignorance. I have salt and pepper hair right now, and I like the color. My hair is thin in front and baby fine. Looks fab Jill! Very convincing and an easy, pretty look 😍. If it was me, I think the two front pieces are quite long to leave out and would benefit from trimming a few strands shorter to be left out.

I’ve been needing something to cover my bald patches but I was looking at wigs and I live in the Deep South it’s hot and very humid and I know a wig wouldn’t work I didn’t know they made toppers lol I must live under the rock for sure .

Hi, this topper is beautiful as are you! Just wondering if the cap part is curved and concave a bit or just flat across the front? I have one here, can remember the brand or style, but it is flat and the sides always buckle which is a nuisance.
This is my first time watching one of your videos. It will not be the last! I’m 75 years old and have been losing my hair for years now. It’s been awful! The reasons could be many! I’ve let it grow long bc, frankly, I can do more with it: ponytails, buns, etc., even though my hair is thin. My hair loss is on top, crown & sides. Having the contrasting colors wouldn’t be a problem for me bc I have pretty much all gray in the front/top but dark in the back/bottom. When I was younger, I had thick, dark curly hair. Yes, I have naturally curly hair. But these days, it’s more frizz than curl. I’m trying to grow out a bad cut. As it gets long enough, I trim the ends. Eventually, I’ll get all of them! If I try to cut all at one time, my hair will be too short to wear up. I just have to be patient. My hair grows. It’s just thin. I was trying to find the products you mentioned and would like to view some other videos. Also what tips you might have for curly, wavy hair. Although these days, I don’t wear too much curly. I live in the south East where it’s hot and humid in the summer. As a matter of fact, it seems we’re going straight from winter into summer with unseasonably warm temperatures already (in the 80s!!! UGH!!)

Jill, I have been so curious about toppers! Granted I have no hair loss but do have fine hair. I am in that "transition" being in my latter 40's and just want something easy and I think toppers could help me out. Yours with this pony was amazing and I think I have the courage to try one to see what happens!!!!
