The manual says to ground it but no one on youtube is grounding in their demonstration. Do you think it needs to be grounding if I used it for an emergency with an extension cord, maybe for a couple lights and a 750W space heater?

Yes, you will get more efficient power generation and be better protected from shock. I will make that video very soon. Simply grab a 3ft piece of 12 awg wire and a 1ft piece of pipe or rear and drive it into the ground. Then connect wire to frame and pipe or rebar.

Are you using 50:1 non ethanol fuel

@klgate make sure that the ratio ends up at 50:1 it should tell on the oil bottle how. If that doesn't fix it then I would try running non ethanol racing mix fuel for a couple tanks and it should clean it out.

@klgate that is why it's smoking use a 50:1 fuel and it won't smoke after about half a tank. Then it should never smoke again

I would have to see a picture of that because at the beginning of the video you can see a red and white sticker, with big white numbers, that says 50:1. I also checked the manual and it says 50:1.

1000w heater and a lamp is 1060w unless your bulb is led then it's 1010w
