The way I see it, each Ghostbuster cosplayer club is a “franchise” of the movie ghostbusters and each franchisees equipment will range in design and functionality for that group’s appearance. One franchise might create a unique gadget for their story telling while another group states away creates an experimental “photon”pack. Great build series! I can’t wait to see more!
exactly. we wont all be die hard screen acurate, some times all it takes to bust a ghost is some tight nit friends a proton pack and whatever gear scrounged together they could find. its how im handling my suit
I thought I showed that, the fairy lights were mostly black duct tape on the back, but they are just friction fit between the two C-channels and the vinyl tubing. The aluminum C channels are screwed into the circuit board. Hope that helps, looking forward to wearing mine soon when Frozen Empire comes out.
Thank you for the imagination and sharing. I agree with the philosophy of building something that approximates the look rather than slavishly trying to be screen accurate. I’d thought my uniform was finished until I saw this………..
Mike, take your Ghostbusting as far as you want. I'm think about how I'm going to do the coat in Frozen Empire, I'm certainly not going to spend $1300 for it...
I think you don’t have to have them look exactly the same when they look as good as your build. You could easily believe they would use that in a future movie. Great work - I’ve really enjoyed your Ghostbuster’s series. 👏

Thanks unklejohn. I like your thoughts above, makes a lot of sense to me.
@@MakeItorBreakItNow Thanks! What I was getting at is that it’s okay to not be 100% accurate. It’s all about having fun!
agreed

Great job! I’m attempting your build as we speak. One question, how did you attach the fairy lights/aluminum C channel to the circuit board?

Turned out really cool, the gizmo is the last thing I need to make and I love how yours turned out. Look forward to your videos
Thanks, this is my favorite part of the costume so far...
totally dig it!! I like the customization to make it your own and updated for now.
Glad you like it! Thanks for your comment friarbuck. Looking forward to figuring out the red coat in Frozen Empire and the mods to the proton pack.
that's what I like about the Ghost busters stuff, it doesn't have to be screen accurate. Great community! also most if not all are very encouraging.
the encouraging one are the people you want to hang out with for sure...
@@MakeItorBreakItNow for sure.
@@MakeItorBreakItNow I'm going to make my gizmo belt soon.. I'll make a video on it. Love your videos.. thanks for sharing.
Such a creative build! I don’t think I’ll add a gizmo to my setup, but I really enjoyed watching this! You earned another sub, bud! 😎
Thanks, I really enjoyed putting this costume together. Glad you liked it.

I believe they sell small packs of heat shrink tubing at harbor freight for anyone that is looking for a small amount of it
They do, thanks for the reminder, I've some from Harbor Freight and it works great.

Thanks, the series has been fun to put together, will likely add more videos in February as Frozen Empire approaches...
do you take commissions? I'd buy one of those...
Not at this time, but maybe someday. But the price I'd have to charge would be 10 times the cost of you making one yourself.
DUDE!
You like?
Honestly I would pay you to make me one
Thanks, but not in the production business.
@@MakeItorBreakItNow no problem but it was more a figure of speech saying you did awesome
