Is the Neutrona Wand Battery Adaptor connection included with this kit or does this kit assume you are using the one from the existing Haslabs Proton Pack for this mod?
The CNLINKO connectors they’re using are great. I use the 4 pin version on mine, just in case I need to run more wires at some point. Super secure, though. I definitely prefer a soldered connection over those solder less connectors, but that’s easy enough to do with that kit, too!
Do you know what gauge of wire the red and black are inside the hose. They're sold out of the one already assembled so I'm thinking of just getting the hose and the parts seperately, but unsure of what gauge that cable is without opening it up.
@@Gregors85 Woohoo! Got it all to work. I was able to barely use what little grip was left to take it off and start over. I just used the rubber cover to have it sit closer to the pack. I can always cut off the hanging part of the cover later if it bothers me. Thanks!
Hard to say exactly, but if the space allows I would recommend either the classic brute force method, drill a bigger hole and put a large screw in. Or, you could get some threaded inserts for an m3 screw and use a soldering iron to melt it into the hole.
I'm not going to say it will, but it might. I've had people report that the hose connection is terrible and then other people say they've had no problems with the stock hose.
The store owner's been rabidly selling out of them since we reviewed it as well as Ghostbusters news. You might just have to wait a little bit longer till he gets one in stock
With those solderless connectors it's gotta be easy I just found out they exist from this video and fix something and I have zero experience with electronics
*Note: You don't need to strip the wire in advance with the solderless connectors included in the kit.
Was just about to say the very same thing!

@@UncannyGirl Used the one that came with the wand
I love your sound, beautiful childhood memories
Mega! Thank you! Greetings fro Germany!
Nice! I was waiting for someone to make a video on this as I have this in my cart for them. Thank you guys!
Our pleasure!
I Might need this.
Thanks! I probably need this 😅
Exactly the video I needed as I just bought that very same loom..
So thanks Chris and ToolsandTalent..
Tools and Talent props, great guy. Oh and he’s in our franchise. 😊
Sick!

Great video!! This will be my next haslab pack upgrade!! 😁
I just replaced the hose for a real cloth one and soldered the wires back together ,ill have to add the clinko connectors myself now though.
Love these how to vids. They’ve been really useful for me, keep em coming Bud ❤
Thanks, will do!
Thanks for the great video. I've been working on my Spirit Packs. This cable is my next buy with the Hasbro wand
I am building my own 3d printed pack and the spengler wand. I am thinking getting this. I hope the wireing will work with the gbfans light and sound.
awesome
With the solderless connectors you can just buy the same plugs that go into the packs board and just swap that out. No snipping just plug and play.
I’ve never had an issue with the stock hose. I tend to lay the pack down when I’m connecting/disconnecting the hose

I'm not actually sure we didn't measure it. Reach out to tools and talent props and ask them directly through Etsy. Their link is in the description.
Where can you get the connectors?
@@MarkSmithSJC Amazon sells them
I tried attatching the chrome connector without the cover and stripped the screws trying to get it close enough to the pack 😔
Oof. You may have to drill bigger holes and move up a screw size.

I buggered the thread on one of the bottom right pack connector screws, so one screw isn’t properly screwing down, not sure how to resolve it
You may have to drill a bigger hole than place a new bit inside. It's kind of impossible to no given the limited information

What did you do with the old one
It's somewhere in the workshop.
Does anyone know if this fixes the wand connection issues when activating from the wand, as soon as the wand is activated everything shuts off?
I'm not going to say it will, but it might. I've had people report that the hose connection is terrible and then other people say they've had no problems with the stock hose.
What connector did you use on the wires?
CNLINKO connectors
@@Gregors85 LP20?
I just hooked mine up and the connection jiggles and no power to the wand 😐
It's very hard to tell what the problem is on our end. I'd suggest undoing everything and going step by step again to see if anything got skipped.
I need this hose however is don’t see one with the electronics on their Etsy site. Help! My stock hose is busted.

Just checked they are back in stock
We got one!!
I can’t do this. I’ll make a mistake and the pack won’t work anymore.
Just go slow.

I just wish the connector was black instead of shiny chrome

Does anyone have the link? Please
A link to what?
@@Gregors85 a link to get that hose upgrade from Etsy
No motherboard disassembly/assembly!!!
Not required! haha.
Not this time!
I don't like the connector they should have separated it instead of being together makes it easier to work with
I rather wait for someone to make a plug n play hose with no cutting or anything required.
It's really easy. Don't let the cutting intimidate you. We all have to start somewhere.
Well this is useless the shop has shut down
