The rand is plastic so that your spurs don't dig into the leather heel block.

Prices have skyrocketed and the material quality is the same. How has the foam insole worn?

I don’t think there is anything nicer than a pair of broken in cowboy boots

Great boot I won 2 pairs at a charity event one caimen and mad dogs best boots I've ever owned period they get better as soon as you break em in. Tried other boots nothing compares unless it's a custom boot made for your feet🤔

    Nice boots.

In relation to cowboy boots, that would be considered a full stitched welt or a 360 degree welt since the stitching never goes past the heel block. I understand that on dress shoes and other types of boots the stitching can go all the way around the heel which is the other version of a 360 degree welt

A cowboy boot that has lemonwood pegs or brass nails would have the welt stitching stop around the middle of the vamp. That would be considered a 3/4 stitched welt

@@savonjeffs3404 Nope. This boot here is a 270 degree or 3/4 welt. The one you describe, when there are pegs or brass nails, is a 180 degree welt or 1/2 welt. Cowboy boots generally don't come in a 360 degree welt though there are some exceptions.

I have a dalton classic retails for like 850 and they have that plastic piece and the heel has that cushion piece but a hard leather insole. I think you’ll love the boots.

What’s the update on the fit and break in! I have a pair with a similar different size foot problem and am considering an 11D vs my traditional 10.5D to allow more heel lift, the 3/4-1inch range

I LOVE your cowboy boots, man!! I've LOVED cowboy boots since I was little! I have a broken-in brown pair with a more pointed toe. They're a dark shade of brown. I wear mine with loose jeans, jerseys and even shorts!! I LOVE the stitching on the toe of cowboy boots. I think it makes them stand out more. I LOVE how they make me look taller. I'm 5'10" and I wear size 12. Cowboy boots need their own paid holiday!! :) :)
I feel the same way you do about cowboy boots! 👍😎😊👊 I want a black pair next, maybe with the metal toe taps on them!! Can't wait!!

Love my Clints! I got the square toe chocolate. I use these as my “everywhere” boots and beat them up pretty hard.

You know what you’re talking about, for sure. Ever try Ariat before? Solid boots, they’re all I use.

Treat yourself to some Lucchese’s. Night and day quality difference from Ariat.

@@OPSteel97 I’d say so too. But I had a set of Lucchese Carl (sharkskin) boots. The heals started coming undone on both boots. One wore out pre-maturely on the insole. My big toe was making contact with the outsole. Sold em’. Haven’t had a problem with any of my ariat boots. So idk, maybe just a bad batch.

Lucchese is one of the finest boot companies around. Didn’t know they made a boot in that price range.

How have they held up since the video color wise? I know quality will be there, but I just bought these same pair and wondering if color will fade over time (which might actually make them look even better).
