I just received the size 12 in Navy and the quality and comfort are superb. However, they are still too large by 1/2 size and I wear a true 13 in every other shoe. Not sure if a 11.5 will be too small.

I think trying it will be the real test!

Those loafers are absolutely beautiful !! I looked for the rubber sole pair on their website but it no longer offered. Great video thanks for the info. Love loafers, not sure why so many guys hate on them .

I bought nailclipers Seki 109 ,114 and ss202 ,all have stamp Green Bell Japan on them despite on box said Seki .

I agree with you on ordering true size. I bought a pair of Rancourts in my true size despite the site saying to go 1/2 down and have zero regrets. With a thin sock they fit perfect. Barefoot I think they’ll also work just fine. Considering how narrow the 114 Last is, I think 1/2 down could be problematic.

I have mine for 10 years and they are suede burgundy. Not 1 resole . They are reliable and an amazing brand of shoes

Whats the name of the color

I have a pair of color 8 cromexcel beefroll loafers with leather sole and heel I purchased over 2 years ago. I predominantly wear them throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons. Only now have I worn through my heels while the leather sole is going strong. Great shoes for great comfort that provides great value.

Great shoes! I got the same ones last year during Rancourt’s “pre-order “ sale. The a super value at the sale price considering the materials used and USA manufacturing.

I wore Bass Weejuns in the 1960s and early 1970s. I didn't know anyone still wore Beefroll and Penny loafers. And after looking up the website, I can see why...$239 - $800!!!

I've been looking at these, but I'm not sure what size to go with. The site recommends 1/2 size down but a lot of the comments say a full size down, especially if you don't wear socks. What's your feedback on the sizing?

Nice thing about pickleball is that it can be enjoyed as a non-competitive, non-athletic, social activity.... as here.

Is the viewer to infer that the time period when this footage was shot was that time when Pickleball was fun? And are we to then deduce that other kinds of Pickleball (e.g. that kind played by individuals possessing the requisite hand-eye coordination necessary to foster coherent strategies beyond "swing and pray") that occurred after/outside this particular game are certifiably "un-fun"? That would be flabbergasting news, as I've always found that the amount of joy had playing pickleball is typically proportional to the length of the rallies. I mean, I'm positively GOBSMACKED (or is it 'God Smacked'? Weird word either way amiright?) because when the rallies don't exceed 4 hits it's mostly just standing around, announcing scores, letting out exasperated sighs over disappointing unforced errors, confused utterings related to line calls/scorelines/rules, idle banter about network tv sitcoms, and of course the occasional corny joke thrown in here and there (e.g. "who put that net there!?") just to remind everyone that THIS IS FUN WE ARE HAVING. But the ratio of pickleball to all that other stuff is really low when you can't sustain a rally longer than a couple hits after the return of serve. Anyways, curious to learn how it all works! The "fun having", I mean! Thanks - God bless!
