No matter how much negative press it gets, I am still buying the deluxe one because I missed out on the original one and could never find one for sell today, and all I really want is the game itself regardless of the cabinet’s quality, height, screen-size, etc. because all I really want is the game itself.
I'm just glad the deluxe cabs are coming out QUICKLY. I will revive my A1UP purchasing if I can repurchase all my 3/4 cabs I previously sold, in a Deluxe version. In my basement, where I have full sized pinballs and full size Golden Tee, the 3/4 with riser just looked to kiddy. The deluxe looks "normal" next to all my official arcade/pinball machines. I'm back on board if they continue the deluxe line.
Not for me, but hopefully someone out there enjoys it. Thank you Michael for being a breath of fresh air in the community and not shaming people for liking these products.
Fun fact: I reached out via the customer service portal. The PCBA and the lightguns for the deluxe big buck cabinet have been improved according to the agent.

They did say we would get to a point where we started getting a cab every month or so; now we just need to see what new titles, if any, will be included - we’re in the endgame now
BTW: are the game codes (cheats) from the original commercial MK or KI or others included in the software for 1up ? just curious cause I got em all....from babality to anamalilties to etc...I've tried some but don't seem to work....
Based on what Arcade1up's website says this is about 8" taller than the original. So that's an improvement. But given the small screw size and cheap guns haven't improved this is nothing to write home about.
I have the first version of this cab. Our biggest complaint is the light gun accuracy. We play in the arcade and on our wii, and both are way better accuracy wise. We have calibrated many times. Does this new cab address this issue?
The Deluxe comes with a bottle of real deer pee which they advise you to squirt on the screen to attract more big bucks to shoot. If that fries the game they say the fix is to buy another cabinet :)
100% agree that they should have added a lightup marquee and made the cabinet taller. There is no upgrade here. In my opinion, this is a miss on their part. This cab is truly for new people coming into the hobby
MRquee doesn’t matter Height is great But it needed a bigger monitor 19 inches would have made a big difference and worth upgrading I put castors in mine and size is fine and I added a lot Marquee

Unbelievable they didn't light up the marquee on the Deluxe or even make it taller! Hahahaha. Just unreal. Ive been buying these since 2018 and have over 25 of em, so I've always been a supporter and when I saw issues, my thing to people was as long as they learn from their mistakes it's fine......Well, I'm at my end now as this shit is becoming just a running joke. I work in QA and now am just PO'd because no way it wasn't talked about, it just really is all about the money for them, not how good can we get it. What a shame. For so many of us, if we had been lucky enough to start this company, we would have done these cabs so well by now that all these cabs would sell themselves. Damn shame.
Rehashing the same cabinets and charging full price for a cabinet that's a few inches higher than the original with the same 17 inch monitor and no real upgrades will be the beginning of the end for arcade 1up! Consumers are getting tired of the same cabinets with minor to no upgrades being done over and over. They need NEW CABS! time crises, house of the dead Daytona, sunset riders etc. Make it exciting again or go down like iiarcade!!!
All good points, Michael B. It's too short, crap marquee, and they're taking a step backwards with that terrible logo art back on the front panel. I'm hoping this one was designed a long time ago and was simply too late to have more recent feedback taken into consideration. But I doubt it. 🤣
On their website, the old one measures 60.8 inches high and the new one measures 68.3 inches high so it’s 8 1/2 inches higher than the old one. That being said still wouldn’t buy this it should’ve been an XL cabinet with a larger screen.
Molded coin door, who cares, one piece, who cares. Make the guns less cheap and heavier and make the screen at least 19 should be 24.done that's an upgrade. Fake coin doors and no riser isn't an upgrade

The OG is the shortest looking cabinet I ever witnessed in person, hope that got resolved.

The cabinet is 8 inches taller than original. Basically the screen will be at the same height as the terminator cabinet monitor.
On the arcade1up site. World is 60.8 inches tall and pro deluxe is 68.3 inches tall. So its noticeably taller.
