    I changed my colors each round so that it could look like a peacock feather. It’s so pretty! And the instructions were so clear, thank you!

    The first thing I thought of was evil eye 🧿 (which is a protection against evil forces). In one direction, it looks like an ornament, the other an eye.

    • @aussiegypsy62

      @@Rara-pr9wg you are wrong !! The evil eye symbol (🧿) has been found through thousands of years of history across cultures, including in Latin America and parts of Asia. The symbol, most often depicted as four concentric circles in the shape of an eye, is used to ward off variations of evil intentions.

    • @lizhiddema895
      @lizhiddema895 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @Rara36 depending on the color of the eye, there are many possible uses for the wearer - to clear obstacles, relaxation, good health, courage, peace, open doors, re-balance life, remove obstacles, calm over activity, protection and so much more. I'm sure there are negative uses for the evil eye, but I choose to look at the positive side of this amulet.

      I know. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw it too. I think it would work if done in a fingering weight or even a #3 with a smaller hook , which would make it about the right size.

    Hello. Today was the first time I watched a video explaining the Grany squares method. I'm very green, but I want to learn. My mother used to crochet wonderfully and today she can't. I really regret not having learned from her, but I was a teenager 🙄 at the time.❤ I saw many videos on this subject, but only today, I managed to understand. You are a good teacher. I think I will continue to learn from you.
    May God bless you.❤❤

    OMG Crystal!!! Years ago I was in a bookstore flipping through crochet afghan books and I saw a pattern similar to this but I couldn't afford the book. I stared and stared at the pattern and tried to "eyeball" what stitches were used. When I got home I tried to recreate it and I just couldn't get it to look right (or sew together right) so I kind of forgot about it. Until NOW. I could just hug you right now!! Not only have you shown me how to make this pattern.... I NOW have decided what I'm going to use my mini skeins on. A couple years ago I got an Advent Box as an "early" Christmas pressie and every day was filled with a "butterfly themed" mini skein. I've never been able to decide what I wanted to make with them... NOW I KNOW! I'm so excited to do this. Thank you so much!! 💜💜💜

There were many n each one was a different pastel color with sparkly devotions on them. They were my favorite ones. I love n am starting to make these. I'm gonna make a blanket with them all. As I watched the tutorial, I pictured what I want to do...which is to use eye colors in the center with the white around it, then use black on the last round to sort of act as eyeliner, then when connecting them, maybe add lashes. I love to play and find new ideas. I am thinking a single lantern made like an eye, then sewn onto a hat to be the third eye. But, for a blanket I would do that lip thing too, I like the texture it adds. Thanks!
