My mom used this type pattern years ago to make afghans for all of us. Owing to her dementia, she can’t recall how to do it! I’m so grateful to find this tutorial today! I’ll be able to make “her” blankets for others! Thank you!!

My mom had started making the strips and stopped after 6. There was enough yarn to make a 7th strip. I took the strips and made each one the center of an afghan. I made 7 in different ones for my 7 grandchildren. I gave them to them at Easter this year. I told them how they came about and they liked the story and their afghans.💝 My mom's 8th anniversary of her passing was just November 15th. I can't believe it's been 8yrs.
Thank you for this one Crystal. It looks beautiful with the colors you used.💖🤗

I love seeing someone doing the classic style of mile-a-minute. I've seen too many people try to make it fancier. This was the true blanket style I learned that wasn't just me going back and forth with double crochets. I love doing them and I always make all my friend's baby blankets (when they don't want a quilt instead) with this pattern. My cousins' kids all still have theirs and they're adults and teens.

Where have you been all my life? lol. I just subscribed a few days ago, and I love your patterns and how you really show how to do it. I only knew the basics (and I still have issues with a straight edge on turning the work). I got curious about this ice yarn, and I just went to their site! Oh my gosh, I'm in Heaven! The prices are awesome, even with shipping, it's cheaper than local and other online shops, and they're all beautiful! Thank you so much for introducing me to this awesome yarn! Right now, I'm doing the rocky road stitch for my son's afghan. I also want to try another pattern I saw on YT, but it's hard to follow her instructions. It's the Trend 3D Crochet Blanket Knitting Pattern. Is there any way you could do a tutorial on this pattern? You make it so much easier to understand. It's a criss-cross pattern with 2 different colored yarns.
