Nice reaction! Survive is like their unofficial anthem… from the 1st album, written by teenagers… this pumping accelerating part at the end is just awesome, all the crowds are singing the ohohos, the venues are shaking, experienced this in London/UK… awesome! 👍🤘

Yeah, it's kind of an inside joke between the sisters. If you look back at the 2017 TedX performance, Dany got into a dance groove the third time through Pau's verse/pre-chorus. At one point she dances in a way that resulted in her swinging her guitar in a very goofy, but charming, way. Now they do a choreographed version of "the swing" from time to time during their headlining performances. Dany also does, "the Dany Shuffle" on occasion during shows where Patreons/TWA will get the history of it.
"I can't pick who I prefer as a singer". Facts! They all do their parts perfectly. I would love love love to hear Ale more. There are a couple videos out there where Ale sang Hunter...she is so good. Not sure she feels comfortable with it. Your conversation about Pau and the independent function between singing and drumming is spot on. It blows my freakin mind. I tried to play drums when I was younger because my Mom did...and I just couldn't catch on. The skill level by that woman is insane. Another banger man. And thanks for the convo last night. Keep doin you!
Jesse, I totally agree with you, that all sisters are blessed with great voices and are able to take turns singing lead. Their harmonies are their stunning and are why their sound is so full and awesome.
My head was rockin' back and forth and my legs were both moving with my feet pounding the ground while sitting in my seat during the ending jam! So awesome! So true you can't just pick out one of them and say their the best because they are all so damn good. And you don't find many, if any, rock trio's were they all play and sing. Hey, thanks for the shout out! (RavenDeth) Always love your honest and emotional reactions because they're REAL! Looking forward to the next one and catch ya on Discord! 🔥🤘⚡
I'm glad you noticed Dany and Ale picking up their guitars at the same exact time during Pau's section of the verse. They do it both versus, every time, and I have never seen a reactor pick up on it. Also, when Dany picks up the verse again, watch Pau and Ale head bob from left to right at the same time. They do it every time for this song and noone brings it up, lol!!!! I love it!!
They do that all the time like Easter eggs in a movie, at 7:27 they do another guitar flick and at 7:37 Pau and ale do a hair flick, and another hair flick at 9:59 most people don't notice those details,
When I'm alone written by Dany at Berkley and Survive were the first songs I heard of The Warning and they are still among my favorite songs by TW. Who thought the very good song from the Ted Talk 2017 would explode into this masterpiece of crowd pleaser. I always start stomping my feet in the finale and i am getting with it. The singing and drumming of Pau is insane. While her face looks like she´s thinking about something, her voice goes one direction while her arms and legs move on their own. She is a very accomplished drummer and singer. Her skills are evidence of all the hard training she puts into her art. Each one of the sisters are experiences of their own and together they are a exploding show bomb. I love your reactions to The Warning and have watched this one at least three times now, because you react exactly like i did and still does to this song. Keep it up!🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡
Jesse, I loved your revelation. This is how I've felt for years since I discovered them. I can't separate them or place one above the other. They are like a single organism of amazing talent. This song, in particular, is special as it introduced me to TW during their second TedX. That performance was jaw dropping...and it has only become even better. Glad you caught the choreography between Dany and Ale and Ale and Pau. They still do that...even though this song is "classic" Warning now. "Why does this make me want to ball?" Yeah...they do that. I get the same way. The only thing I wish that would have happened during this performance is that the spot found Ale in the outro. THAT BUGS ME!
Ya , I get the same feeling, im 6'3" 245 pnd truck driver ,I didn't even get teary eyed at my mothers funeral but some how these girls can bring out an emotional response to their music. I dont know what it is or how they do it. There are some kind of super natural forces in play here. We can ask why but I dont think we will ever get the anser.
Thanks for taking the time to review these ladies, The Warning are fantastic. Man, the way they perform and synchronise on stage is epic. There harmonies are so tight and they all have equally great voices. But excellent drumming and guitar skills too. Just loved everything about this track, but then everything on the XXI Century Blood album is so excellent. My favourite tracks are Black Holes (Don’t Hold On) and Copper Bullets. Please do a reaction to Black Holes the lyrics are so good.
What you say about the singing is true. They each have their own flavor and they manage to use that to great effect. The last time there was a band with multiple singing members this equal for me was back in the late 70's when I discovered KISS. All 4 members played. All 4 members sang. And they had amazing anthems that were catchy and easy to get into. They also had an army of fans. The big difference is these girls are doing it for the joy of doing it. For them it is art, not just a product to be sold and leveraged.
I love watching you LOOSE YOUR SHIT watching this band cause I do the same thing I thought I was just being weird. I saw them live a year ago opening for another band, I didn’t even know they were gonna play or who they were but when they came on the stage it was game on I couldn’t believe it. They are almost all that I listen to now. I really enjoy your technical expertise, explaining why they sound the way they do. I watched a reaction to the entire album Queen of the Murder Scene and there was a whole new layer to The Warning . How could they possibly write that as adults much less as kids. You should check it out. The person doing a reaction said it could be a Broadway play and they were right. Keep on rockin. I’ve watched a lot of your reactions.
Loved your reaction. I have seen this video like 284 times give or take and every time I get to the final 2 minutes where they do that incredible breakdown, I STILL get the chills. I love how Pau goes off on the drums in particular with the ride cymbal (LOVE IT), and you have Dany shredding on the guitar all the while Ale is thumping the bass and keeping the train on the tracks. We all have said the same thing: the last song you hear from The Warning is your favorite song, and while I still basically believe that, if I had to pick one song - Survive is probably it - for the reasons I stated above. As for tearing up... I do that as well. I think it comes from the basic fact that The Warning's music is so damned enjoyable, that you tear up with happiness. And knowing hoe these ladies are so committed to their craft, that they do not put out anything that is not enjoyable on some level. I'm so thrilled I have found The Warning. They're the best thing to happen to music in a very, VERY long time.
Tell you why its SO good. Its not coached...its not built on TV....its true insnpiration and talent pouring forward. Its THEIR music, not someone elses. And weve seen it build for years on You Tube, not just dropped on us and were told to like it by Top 40 radio. These girls are the real thing. Its actual JOY, they love what they are doing. And they keep pushing...... I say bring it ALL!!!
There’s a outdoor festival performance where the camera is on Pau for Survive. She is wearing all white and she absolutely goes gonzo for this song. It’s so cool to watch.
Tears of happiness! I love ur reactions man! Ur not just a music pro, but a good man and a honest friend! I’m glad to follow , dude!!! Greetings from Peru!!!!
I tear up too, every time I watch this performance as well as the one at 2017 TedX. This one seems extra special, knowing the love they are getting from the Mexican fans. You can see it in the all three girl's faces. They've been playing this for so long and so often that it's seared into their being and all looks so effortless.
I've seen this performance multiple times, and the performance of this song at the Tedx Talk they did in 2017 and I spontaneously tear up and choke up. Not just this one either. They have totally ruined my tough guy rep. "Survive" is from their first full studio album XXI Century Blood released in March of 2017 when Dany was 17, Pau 15, and Ale 12. So, it was written about a year earlier. It just shows their musical talent. I like your insights and the little things you catch in a performance, so pause as much as you like. And you're having so much fun bringing out the details. You could totally broken down that staccato, off beat drum pattern Pau plays. She didn't break a drum stick like she did in the Tedx Talk.
Nice Reaction! I noticed how Dani doesn't open her mouth much when they went to the Sirius XM Studio and recorded 4 songs (Choke, Money, Martirio and Enter Sandman) It was on the song Choke that I noticed at the first part of the song she barely opens her mouth when she sings it.
Better late than never, I guess, eh? The version of this song from their 2017 TedX grabbed me like few songs in the past 25 years. Set me on the wonderful journey down The Warning's rabbit hole. Fantastic. The second half groove in this song is so so good. I have played with many musicians older than DPA's combined age who don't have half that feel and groove. I have heard this song so many times and still smile and move and bob my head. Are they having fun? The synced guitar lifts? Yep. Check 9:59 of your video and watch Ale & Pau with their coordinated back/forth rock with Pau's cymbal hits (you can also see it from behind Pau at 7:39). Yeah, they are enjoying it.
I'm so happy for these girls they worked their butts off to get here too the level of awesome that you see now. And to see all these reactions which are exactly like I mine is totally cool. Good job girls keep it up!!!!
Sky is the limit for the talent and charm of these 3 musical prodigies. I believe that genetics have something to do with how their voices blend perfectly. And then they jam together and it’s all over. You don’t know it yet…. But they already GOT you. Individually… they’re already as good as can be. Together… they are just naturally perfect. They came. They rocked. They conquered.
great !!, i don't "know" music, but i know what MOVES me, what gives mt DAY LONG ear worms,,, my personal "favorite sister is the one i'm listening to at the moment!! ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good catch dude on Pau’s playing, she very rarely if ever plays a passage the same way twice in a row, I honestly can say I don’t know if she has and I’ve heard every song of the warning multiple times, but it’s not just Pau all the girls do, I mean they do repeat their lyrics quite a bit but the musicality’s parts are always building and added to the songs till as you stated the goosebumps start up…⚡️⚡️⚡️
Amigo, a mí hasta las manos se me quemaron y me dolieron, pobre Paulina y también Dany 😱 es una obra maestra está canción pero exige demaciada galleta 🍪 Saludos desde México capital.
Nice reaction, man!! I thought you reacted to the TED talk. They did Survive there too, but no worries. Survive is one of those Pau "Holy Cow!!! What just happened???" TW moments. I like that you caught the synchronized guitar choreography. That's a fairly recent addition to the show and I just love it. Next thing they need the ZZ Top spinning guitars...LOL (just kidding TWA!) As an old married guy, that like "Your words mean nothing at all!!" Is just daggers to my heart. Words no man wants to hear, least wise from a proud latina! Anyway...I loved the reaction.
You can look at The Warning this way, If you don't feel something from this band, you're dead to music I love music, this new blood is the transfusion I have need since RUSH retired and Neil Peart's passing.
They are so comfortable playing this because it used to end their sets back in the day. This is a "mellow" version compared to the way they used to play it, as in the 2017 TEDx Talk where Pau and Dany have a gruffer tone to their voices, and Pau pounds her drum kit without mercy (cracking a stick in the process). NOTE: The TEDx is a 3-song set separated with them talking about why they chose not to sign with a label.
This one's my unchallenged favorite, and has been since the get-go. Although I don't think it was the TEDx version that got me. It's how euphoric the song is. It sounds like a simple dance rock song, although I suppose from your comment below there's more to it. I liked the piano opening, with the Broadway sound at least until everything kicks right in, but they aren't taking a keyboard on tour. I was concerned after seeing the Asbury Park set list that they wouldn't play it in Boston either, but no fear. I saw Dany and Ale sit on the riser and knew what was coming 🙂🙂 We only got 16 songs in Boston, but Survive made up for it. Pau really does like to hear the crowd sing back to her. Dany does too, but I think Pau in particular is energized by it.
For me musically there is one main reason why I connect so much with their music and it is the vocal harmonies. Don't get me wrong overall everything is great, but to me the vocal harmonies are step above the rest.
The response you talk about... I have tried to explain it to a few people, and they just don't understand. The only other time I felt like that was seeing Rush live. I've seen many great bands and only that once do I remember having that gut feeling that I'm watching something very special. I'm going to see them in Detroit in September. I'm hoping I don't explode. At least not completely.
I can't believe how biased I'd become over rock music, because I avoided this song for a long time until a reactor I watch was going to listen to this song. Damn, well let's hear it and get it over with. Man, knock me sideways, they jammed at the end, i was mesmerized. Love this song so much now. Not saying its the best solo, but it was awesome to see Dany shred, Pau doesn't stop beating those drums, and Ale, ends with her thundering bass.
When I saw them live, I realized that you never really know WHO is actually singing. when one is singing, either of the other 2, or both, may harmonize a word or 2 in the phrase. A lot of the syllable emphysis is with the harmony of an added "ah" . Get an early performance of this, (TEDx?) & play these back to back comparing them. your take on how they developed this one song over 7-8 years would be great!

I tried to play drums when I was younger because my Mom did...and I just couldn't catch on. The skill level by that woman is insane.
Another banger man. And thanks for the convo last night. Keep doin you!
This is what music is truly about Jess. Music should move you and The Warning certainly does for us fans
I love it!!
They do that all the time like Easter eggs in a movie, at 7:27 they do another guitar flick and at 7:37 Pau and ale do a hair flick, and another hair flick at 9:59 most people don't notice those details,
@@armedgunman01I never noticed that! Cool!
Keep it up!🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡
Thank you, sir 🙏🏻 These ladies are something special. Haven’t feel this way since punk came, these ladies saved my faith to music 🤘🔥❤️🇫🇮
The outro is 98 of the absolute best seconds of concert rock...
Dude.. I have the same tears at the end! It's just amazing to watch them go... I hold so much pride for them in my heart! They are AWESOME!! ❤
Thanks for the reaction Jess, I responded to this song they same way my friend!! It is fire!🔥🔥⚡️
The Warning Live is a Life Experience 🎉😊
I feel ya, man! So great! 🔥⚡️🤘❤️
The end jam part is so damn groovy, love it! And yes Pau smiling when she is having a great time is so nice to see.
I know this reaction is genuine, because I too get chills and tear up watching this magnificent performance!
Rock and Roll has been saved! The Warning!
I tear up too, every time I watch this performance as well as the one at 2017 TedX. This one seems extra special, knowing the love they are getting from the Mexican fans. You can see it in the all three girl's faces. They've been playing this for so long and so often that it's seared into their being and all looks so effortless.
I always feel emotional at the end of Survive. Great reaction brother.
This will always be one of their “classic” songs. 😎👍
Catch the head toss Ale and Pau do during the chorus. They added this move for the Mayday Tour last year.
People always getting their ages mixed up😖 I get confused.
Love seeing seeing how happy and how much fun the girls were having during this performance!
They ARE independent!! When hearing her sing, you’d swear she wasn’t even playing the drums. Power of Pau! Youth💥🧨
Thanks! As promised. I enjoy your reactions, keep em coming 🤘
Their TEDx performance is amazing. Ages 11, 14 & 16 they are incredible
great !!, i don't "know" music, but i know what MOVES me, what gives mt DAY LONG ear worms,,, my personal "favorite sister is the one i'm listening to at the moment!! ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They make you wanna bawl cause they are ballin!
Good catch dude on Pau’s playing, she very rarely if ever plays a passage the same way twice in a row, I honestly can say I don’t know if she has and I’ve heard every song of the warning multiple times, but it’s not just Pau all the girls do, I mean they do repeat their lyrics quite a bit but the musicality’s parts are always building and added to the songs till as you stated the goosebumps start up…⚡️⚡️⚡️
Ok... This. This is one of the best reactions so far. This song does the exact same thing to me EVERY TIME.
ETA: subscribed.
My friend thank you 🙏🙏 I LOVE the warning and you have a bunch on my channel to watch!!! Would recommend the Live stream we did this concert 😁
I will absolutely come and check it out. I haven't sat and watched the concert all the way through.
Team DPA as i can not choose one over the other. CHEERS Jess
We are all proud of them. That’s secondary. The songs are 😧😧😧😧😧❤⚡️⚡️⚡️❤
Hi. Jesse. Love that little smile Pau has after the crowd finished singing.
Despues de Led Zeppelin y The Beatles ,sigue The Warning, esto es rock and roll ,baby
"Like i have a choice"... exactly!
The Warning are so good, it should be illegal. 🤘⚡🔥
3:26 Pau’s got guns!
Amigo, a mí hasta las manos se me quemaron y me dolieron, pobre Paulina y también Dany 😱 es una obra maestra está canción pero exige demaciada galleta 🍪 Saludos desde México capital.
Pau is incredible - so animated and dramatic behind the drum kit - reminds me of Arejay Hale from Halestorm
We've all been there Jesse, great reaction/analysis bro!
Next thing they need the ZZ Top spinning guitars...LOL (just kidding TWA!)
As an old married guy, that like "Your words mean nothing at all!!" Is just daggers to my heart. Words no man wants to hear, least wise from a proud latina!
Anyway...I loved the reaction.
In my top 3 of favourite songs of theirs (so far).
Thanks!
Very good reaction dude. Would anyone dare to cover this song SURVIVE??!!
⚡✌️🤟⚠️⚡ As Always, Rock On TW Army!⚡✌️🤘⚠️🪖⚡
You can look at The Warning this way,
If you don't feel something from this band, you're dead to music
I love music, this new blood is the transfusion I have need since RUSH retired and Neil Peart's passing.
I lost my soul to The Warning when I saw them do this as teens at the Ted Talk...I knew then I was lost to their music.
So good live
Thnx🤘😎
Great video! 👌🏼🇲🇽
You seem like a fun guy to catch a concert with. If you ever find yourself in Seattle for a show drinks are on me.
Love Seattle!!! Was fortunate enough to see Jack white perform there!! If the Canadian dollar ever catches up, I’ll be back 🍻
@@Beldvlmnt Right on! If it was his show at Climate Pledge just a couple years ago then I was there! Hope you make it back sometime...
Love this rxn.
This band eh their just fire !!!
🤘🤘
Ale! ⚡⚡⚡
It's just that good.
Thank you! Gracias, gracias! Esta presentación es extraordinaria! Ellas son únicas. Disfrutando tus reacciones y comparto las sensaciones
You're right, they maybe sing in English but full of all the Mexican drama, our culture is an oasis of theatrical ways😂
When the heck are you going to see them live???!!! 😂
Maaan for real!! Tell my bank to help a guy out 😂😂😂😂
@@Beldvlmnt 😅 The tickets are still not too pricey. Do it before they sellout big arenas. Then, you'll really have to ask your bank for help!
@@tatsuono9823 hahaha ticket prices are fine - and some amazing members have offered me some! It’s the flights that get a guy lol
@@Beldvlmnt Gotcha. I would also offer you a ticket, but yeah, I can't buy you a flight, sorry! Hopefully they go somewhere near your area soon. 👍

Don't come to me saying that you cared
That I was the one who was never there
Don't come with your lies in the air
You keep blaming me and it ain't fair
Don't come telling me that you're worried
That I'll be hurting if you're gone
Don't come to me saying that you're sorry
Your words mean nothing
Your words mean nothing at all
You said that we were gonna be together
Forever and ever
But now I'm lying on the floor
With my broken heart and all
You said that I was the one of your dreams
That your heart belonged to me
Now I believe I must move on
Because I think you won't come home
Come home
Oh, I know I will survive
Even if you're not by my side
Think this time I'll say goodbye
But don't come to me saying that you cared
That I was the one who was never there
Don't come with your lies in the air
You keep blaming me and it ain't fair
Don't come telling me that you're worried
That I'll be hurting if you're gone
Don't come to me saying that you're sorry
Your words mean nothing
Your words mean nothing at all
You said that we were perfect for each other
That I was like no other
I never knew this was a game
You win, I lose, I've been replaced
You said that you were gonna keep your promise
Of loving me always
But now I know that it ain't true
And I'm so glad that I left you
Left you
Oh, I know I will survive
Even if you're not by my side
Think this time I'll say goodbye
But don't come to me saying that you cared
That I was the one who was never there
Don't come with your lies in the air
You keep blaming me and it ain't fair
Don't come telling me that you're worried
That I'll be hurting if you're gone
Don't come to me saying that you're sorry
Your words mean nothing
Your words mean nothing at all
