Hi Branden. i have started using the adams ceramic products a few months ago on my new 2023 tesla model 3P msm and love the results. Have not used the post detail spray but will pick up some to add to my kit. Thanks for your video. You ride looks great!
What’s the tint percentage on your windows? I have a blue model Y with white seats as well. Love the car and like you I do little things to give it my personal touch and look. I think I need to tint especially for these very very hot days in California. Excellent video! 👍🏽
Hi Branden, I didn't really get the name/ref of the PPF you have on your MY. It looks really great and I'm wondering how this could "improve" (anyhow) a black MX ... it's too late for mine coz' it's being detailed right now but I'll keep it in my notes for later (or other cars). thanks.
@@brandenflasch Wow, that’s amazing. I wish my place would do something like that. It’s the only reason I don’t have an EV. Got no way to charge it at night.
Hey Branden, do you have problems with your touchless car wash leaving a rainbow like residue on your window trim? I cancelled my subscription because of it.
Wish you could buy microfiber cloths without those stupid TAGS sewn to them. I go through the entire bag and tear off those tags as they could scratch the paint.
Only reason I don’t use the Costco ones. I keep the blue tagless cloths that come with the waterless wash off of Amazon. Every time I need a new gallon of it I get 3 more towels. Adds up over time lol
Tesla service managers (multiple) consulted said that touchless car washes are the WORST you can put your 2023 Tesla Model Y through. Because of the stronger chemicals they have to use because it is “touchless.” Horrible advice to your followers. Call any Tesla Service center and they will validate NOT to go to any touchless car wash.
Directly from Tesla in the owner’s manual: “If washing in an automatic car wash, use touchless car washes only. These car washes have no parts (brushes, etc.) that touch the surfaces of Model 3. Some touchless car washes use caustic solutions that, over time, can cause discoloration of decorative exterior trim. Avoid exposure to soaps and chemicals above pH 13. If unsure, check the product label or ask the staff at the car wash. Damage caused by improper washing is not covered by the warranty.” www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/model3/en_us/GUID-65384C1F-86F2-44E8-A8BC-8A12E7E00A40.html
@@brandenflasch You copied and pasted something that agrees with what they commented lol. It specifically says touchless car washes and the soaps and chemicals they use.
@@brandenflasch Why use touchless car washes, which use caustic solutions that, over time, can cause discoloration of decorative exterior trim. I’d rather buff a few swill marks ( but I own a white MY, so those will be really hard to see, but faded, purplish trim, yuck! No way Jose! Maybe the guys blueish purple MY would blend in but I like my black trim to stay black. I get that by my current car wash company up here in the Northwest. It’s no big deal if you choose as well as thousands to expose your multi-layered coat of paint to caustic chemicals…. Believe me touchless uses them. I take the advise of veteran Tesla service managers who’ve seen thousands of Teslas and know first hand the paint damage of “touchless “ car washes do to paint.
Just some unsolicited advice from me bro. Don't shave your beard at your jaw line, shave it closer to your neckline. Even with stubble, it helps it look better. A sharp line close to the jaw just accentuates a double chin.
That PPF is sweet! Great choice.

@@brandenflasch Nice.. I was thinking 35% front but we’ll see… Thanks!

What’s the plan for wheels? Keeping stock?
For now, yes. I have new aero covers coming and eventually I’ll probably swap wheels
Didn't realize that you lived in an apartment building. Does it have chargers on the premises or are you using the Tesla Superchargers?
We have 8 chargers that are free to use

Can you use that coating on the glass?
Yes

Do a ceramic coating on the trim and wipe it off after the wash and you shouldn’t get it
@@brandenflaschshould I use the same ceramic coating you just used or something different for that type of material?
Yes, I did it on mine
You do know that stuff in the spray bottle isnt a true ceramic coating. right?
Sure, but it’s still effective
@@brandenflasch right. Ive used it too over the years.

It says to only use touchless. The original comment is saying not to use touchless.
