I had pounding pulses last night. So I ate an avocado and drank a small glass of beet juice 150mls. I also took Magnesim citrate 150 mg before bed. They seemed to stop my pounding pulses. Unfortunately my BP went up slightly high than usual 156/ 85 . Pulse was 108. When I got up they returned to my normal: BP 135/80. Pulses 76. Thanks so much Dr. Berg. You are my health educator😍

Quick update. I have also came to learn that I wasn't eating enough protein and still working out rather heavily. That put my body into over-train mode and was impacting my heart and my sleep. After I reduced the regimen to 2 heavy workouts a week and 1.5 grams of protein per Kilogram of my body per day and solid 8 hour sleep daily my condition is pretty much returned to normal health.

Coconut water is an electrolyte water, it has naturally occurring sugar that isn't as much as those sports drinks so I prefer that.

This is spot on for me. I’m a 38 yr old female, no kids, and highly sensitive to inflammation. I have a history of stomach and digestive issues since childhood. Also got exposed to ticks a few summers ago while out walking trails with me dog. Soon after developed recurrent Epstein Barr reaction which triggers Hashimoto’s for me, along with atypical (mycoplasma) pneumonia each winter. I’ve been mostly low carb, gluten free dairy free and I try to avoid soy as well due to hormonal imbalances, ovarian cyst, and rheumatic pains in my hands with bony knuckles. I literally just had a cheat meal with an apple danish and an onigiri which is a Japanese snack made with white sushi rice. And 20-30 minutes later my heart started POUNDING and I felt like I was having some kind of hypertensive attack. Had to meditate in the car while my husband drove us home. Fell asleep. Drank a glass of electrolyte water as soon as I got home and within 2 minutes my heart started to slow back down. I definitely need to get more potassium.

Mine started 4 months ago, I can take my pulse anywhere without needing to touch my wrist etc. I can see my chest/abdomen pounding with a forceful beat but not necessarily fast. I was at the GP the other day showing her this and my pulse was just 69 bpm. I could see her confused as all I get told is to relax, it's anxiety. When I am laying down in bed my neck jolts with the force, I hear it it my ears and holding my phone I can see it rocking. This is every waking hour of the day, I do my best to ignore it but sometimes I just start to freak out, which then causes anxiety to make it worse. I have no chest pain accompanying it.
So glad I just came across these comments and the video, I'm starting to lose my mind and patience being told by a trained professional it's normal, you've just become aware of your heart beat, relax blah blah. I'm going to take the advice from this video and give it a try starting tomorrow, I'll let you know how I get on!

I can feel my heart beating very fast. i measure and its around 84 beats per minute, problem is i can feel my heartbeat and I am very conscious of it, like sometimes in the day and especially at night i can hear it beating loud. I am confused whether if i have anxiety, some heart problems or i am just potassium deficient.

@@sabhyakhera9776 yes, I managed to solve my anxiety problem. I realised its because of keto diet. I tried keto and it lead me to depression. Now that i am eating carbs, i no longer have anxiety or depression. Dr Eric Berg DC gives very bad advice, i followed his recommendation to try keto and fell ill. I have learned never to trust to youtube doctors, or doctors in general.
