As a Toyota technician I can say the Siennas are fairly solid choices for family vehicles. The only down side, at least to me, is I find them absolutely hideous to look at
No way! These new ones look great and are light years ahead of what minivans used to look like. We have a 2015 sienna and it ain’t the prettiest but it’s amazingly versatile.
You're kidding me right Modern minivans are leaps and bounds past what the used to look like It can only look so good for being a literal short bus I love my 2014 Sienna SE and I'm always doing little tweaks to make it look cooler, like plastidipping parts for a meaner and fresher look

The honda odyssey center role seats slide in ward and out but also back and foward, if you have 2 car in the center isle you can slide the seat in to let people into the 3rd row
In regards to the carseat installation, my recommendation: pull the front passenger seat all the way up and move the carseat to a comfortable position. Don't use the front passenger seat for a person

I understand why cant (airbags for those seats) but it still stinks. Ive moved a lot of furniture in my '16 sienna no problem. Also, dont forget the new doesnt have a real spare tire anymore...
How did the 2nd row captains seats in everybody’s Siennas hold up? It only took 5,000 miles for my 2021 Sienna right behind the passenger to break, and then the left after another 3,000 miles. I kept taking it back saying it was either a lemon or a design flaw, and each time, the cost to fix it skyrocketed. At the time I sold it and got a non-Toyota, both of the 2nd row captains seats were broken, and the dealership wanted over $1200 each side to fix it. This was war and tear (2 teenage boys, so not “normal” per se). But, really frustrating. The engine felt like it would last forever, though.
Every new Sienna will be hybrid with 4 cylinder engine, so if you don't want a hybrid version, your going have to buy the Grand Highlander, they offer the none hybrid version.
What about dadds!!! 😭😭. Jk. Lol. My wife and I bought this yesterday. Youngest is 11 so no car seats. XLE AWD. Only issue is the middle seats are vibrating like crazy!
@@vivianamorales5258 I figured it out! I folded the third row forward (not stowed away) and the headrest was against the back of the second row. No issues at all!!
@@vivianamorales5258 nope. Not noisy at all. Highway or rural or hills. Extremely quiet and smooth. Also own a 2022 RAV4 XSE and owned a 08 Corolla and 08 Camry v6 xle. Also own a 08 sequoia 5.7
I wish Toyota gives us this van without all of that electric stuff in it. I want a V6 engine naturally aspirated and no batteries or electric motors. I might end up getting a Honda Odyssey instead.
My 2014 is better in that i have less mechanical functions to worry about failing, No BS hybrid or 4 cylinder And, I can take out my middle row. Lets not talk about my MPG though.
