He right bout them 7k trailer. Had a big tex 70ch 20ft. The guy I got it from was like yea it tow cars great. (😑) Went to load a 97 Acura tl on to it. My wheels was bowed out and can barely get the trailer go over 45mph without is severely swinging. Never again 10k and up for me. My load trail title deck 14k is a dream. But she's a big girl 4k just empty weight.
I’m a fan. Some rivets on the diamond plate have popped off and the wiring is a little lazy but other than that it’s a great trailer. Mine was probably built on Friday lol
Actually really good info here! I was going to be looking at getting a trailer to haul my longboi and i was looking at the lower load ones excellent to hear i shouldnt play with fire and that the maxxd is where its at! That coating is amazing.
I don’t even know why you considered the top hat. Right away when you said that I was like eh too hat? I’m like it’s a way lesser trailer it doesn’t compare and budget didn’t seem like it was an issue. All you did was make top hat look bad lol. Good choice on the maxx d
@@Stapleton42 I PICKED UP A 2002 CHEVY 1500HD 3 WEEKS AGO... TRYING TO DECIDE ON A TRAILER TO START HAULING / TOWING. MAINLY CARS, BUT ANYTHING I CAN GET PAID TO STRAP DOWN, I'M HAULING. LOL. RIGHT NOW, MY FOCUS IS ON A 20FT STEEL TRAILER, WITH 10K GVWR. I WANT A NEW TILT TRAILER, BUT TO KEEP FROM USING UP MY STASH MONEY, LOOKS LIKE I'LL HAVE TO SETTLE FOR A USED 20 FOOT REGULAR STEEL HAULER, JUST TO GET STARTED... YOUR VIDEO HELPED ME CONSIDER A FEW THINGS TO LOOK FOR IN A TRAILER. THANKS AGAIN.
MaxxD trailer is bad for loading cars. The ramps are too short so you will scrape. You'll need an extra 4' of wood plus the ramps which is worthless to me
I have that problem. It is good for loading trucks but for cars it is a pain in the butt. I guess thats what you get with a trailer that has the extra weight capacity. It is built to carry big things. Even at that the first time I put my crew cab duramax on it the ramp door bent when I drove up there. Trailer was a week old.
Your not wasting your time man! I love the content and your badass Escalade. Keep them comin
Thanks brother I appreciate it!
Not wasting your time I made it to the end keep em coming brooooo
Thanks bro
I liked the video and your approach to choosing a new trailer, very helpful, thank you.
Thanks man glad I could help
Good information and yes I did learn more about car trailers and how they are not all built the same. Thanks!

Your VS was short but really made me go for the Maxxd for the choice of trailer thank you its a lil extra on price but feels better
Great choice! Keep the ball selflocking mechanism well lubricated .
Note taken! I will stay on it.
That’s a nice trailer. Keep putting out content
Max d looks sweet I like the idea of powder coat and not paint .for the extra money it looks like it will hold up better.thanx for the vid big guy
Love the videos mate. Things are different over there but still interesting. Look forward to the next video.
thanks man. just doing me and not trying to follow anyones pre set format. if I like it ill post it cause why not lol
Thats a gorgeous trailer. Really digging that color. Would match my megacab. Currently shopping for a car hauler

Glad I could help! A good trailer can last a lifetime
For lowered cars, cand the fender be removed, so i can open my car door and exit out?????
Not on this one. It’s welded
Good deal. Looks like a nice trailer.
thanks dude
Congratulations on your new car trailer
Hey man any tips on rwd Escalades what you think about 6l80 transmission and first mods for maximum power

Wish I knew you were in my area. Would have loved to meet you
How much did u pay for the trailer? How did you like it so far?
What’s the brand or part number on the trailer ball coupler. Mine sucks and that one looks awesome!
On the trailer or the truck? The truck has a regular Reese ball
The trailer. Mine has the same adjustable type, but mine hangs up when removing from the ball. Need to swap it out. That one looks decent
I'd like to have that dually
Hey brother do you record with a GoPro? And which is it
Yes the 8
Are you still going to live here in Oklahoma ...?
okc or Dallas is where ill be
whats the price formaxxd
Nice trailer bud up grade your trailer jack
It’s a good reason. I’ve been doing it like 7 years I think. Fun to go back and see all the stuff. And how hot my wife was. I mean, still is.
What’s the price on one of these trailers?
Around 6k depending on the dealer you find

@@Stapleton42 alright thank you for the reply and the content. Keep up the good work. Hopefully we Voss paths at some point.
Thanks dude I do my best to answer every question 💪🏻
These trailers just skyrocketed to like around $9k here in California
If they don’t use the zinc primer before they powder coat it’s useless

@@Stapleton42 that's really sad. These trailers are so nice, but the ramps are a bad design.
