Emmas joy that finding out andy was lying via the velvet was such a vibe!
Rosie Jones and Jack Dee might be my favorite ever pair on Taskmaster.
Yes! They are right up there with Mel and Hugh and with Sue and Susan.
@@winterlighthome Sue and Susan is the most wholesome thing I've ever seen on a TV show where people are also allowed to say "fuck."
Rhod and Acaster are one of my favs- obviously a very different dynamic but incredible. I also loved Mel and Desky.
They're up there with that angry Scottish comedian and Ivo - total odd couple charm
Rosie had my crying this episode. She is hilarious!
i had seen her in a few other things before this, and wasnt really a fan. but this series she's really shining and growing on me. calling alex a dickhead after he task was peak comedy
Another great example of Emma figuring things out. That detective outfit really suits her.
I seriously love Rosie and Jack's pairing 😂
42:00 she hit the island. Should be fair and not disqualified. I would have argued it.
My thought exactly! The task never said anything about the bean bag falling off.
“If you miss the island, you are disqualified.”
rosie poking fun at Jack was so good!
I love Rosie’s Greg head. GENIUS !
i was definitely expecting it to just be the trophy.
the actual head was so much better.
... and lo, during the Jack and Rosie team task, a thousand GIFs were born, and it was good.
What a close series. Andy is only 4 points behind and still has the hot dog joker. Emma and Baba are also in striking distance.
Am I correct in that I seem to recall that Emma still has the hot costume too?
@@jennatodd4664 Yes, she does, giving her a slight edge over Baba.
And only 18 points between first and last. Unless there’s unique scoring methods, there’s 75 points left to score this season.
Jack's "isn't it?" May be be one of the most sarcastic phrases I've ever heard...lol
From what we saw, different from other secret tasks where it was "if someone accuses you of having a secret task you don't get the points" this one before entering the room they could have said to their teammates, "oh by the way I have this task where I am only gonna lie"
no
nope, but they could have said "oh by the way I DON'T have this task where I am only gonna lie" 😁
Dear Taskmaster team,
The last part of the video is missing closed captions. Is that something you can fix?
Thank you for your efforts from the hard-of-hearing community!
This has got to be the cleverest introduction of little Alex Horne in a long time. Very well done, big man. J'adore.
So you open all of the fortune cookies and read the fortunes, pick which five to obey, and eat those.
Andy figured it out, but he had the misfortune of reading the start over cookie
Emma rediscovered the photographers' mantra, "Zoom with your feet".
thanks for keeping me company.... almost watched a documentary and actually learned something.....
you all saved me there!
after watching i have to say. VENIT VIDIT VICITI!!!! a great day for Roma! a great day for all the other Stooges! all hail juliaus agustus Larry.
@@nunyanunya4147 So true bestie
45:28 Emma forgetting she put a bottle of moisturizer in her hat.
I feel like the live task was just "tallest wins" 😂
I am so glad Andy tried to shout one singular yeeees for 30 seconds, cause that is what I thought they actually meant with that little task.
Rosie's "You can be clever when you want to." out of nowhere absolutely floored me
Jack got such a raw deal on the prize task
I have been watching Taskmaster so seriously for so long I instantly knew the answer to the bell task.
Especially because they did a task with the doorbell earlier
18 points between first and last must be one of the smallest margins for overall points this late in a season
I miss, "What have we learned?" and the transitions in and out of commercial breaks. Oh well. Show is still great!
My guess is it was a sacrifice made to show more of the tasks on TV time
It is still in the Australian version.
@@WatchTwentyTwoSame with the funny story at the end of the newscast (to pull a reference from ep. 5)… The only reason they put it in is so they have something inconsequential they can drop if the rest of the show goes long.
at least with the ad breaks bits i can help :)
I think we've just witnessed one of the truly greatest anime betrayals of all time. You know what I'm talking about.
The wait is over! Time for Taskmaster! Watching from US
I cant believe it took 18 series for me to find out who Andy Saltzman is!! 😂😂😂 everything he does has me in stitches!
YEEEEEEESSSSSS
His podcast "The Bugle" is incredible. You have to start from the beginning though, and he's on episode 4317
When this season started, I thought Zaltzman, who I admit I had never heard of, was going to play the "only sane man" role, like Dara O Briain in his series. Clearly, I couldn't have been more wrong.
@@andrew66862 Although they did skip from episode 200-something to 4000 when they relaunched! LOL I've listened to the Bugle since it started in 2007, and it still makes me laugh a lot. The first few years with Andy and John Oliver were quite amazing: pun runs to torture John Oliver, the fuckeulogy of Bin Laden, the royal wedding of Will and Kate,... There are a lot of classics. But since Andy relaunched with loads of cohosts; it is also very good. I think Alice Fraser and Nish Kumar are the best cohosts with Andy these days.
He actually came up in the comedy scene with John Oliver (Last week tonight host). They did like 50+ episodes of Andies Podacst "the Bugle" together ☺
I know, I know, it's just a stuffed toy, but seeing 'Patatas' fall kind of made me feel for him/her/them.
Maybe it's because I really did fly from the USA to London to take part in the Taskmaster Experience, and Patatas was in the general/open area. I particularly enjoyed seeing the "artwork" and Patatas.
The official video "The Story of ... Patatas" uses he/him.
i quite like genderfluid patatas
@@human_collector0 If that's how Patatas identifies, more power to them. All I know is what the video says, and I trust that the TM folks have confimed the preference. But "them" is the best choice when you don't know.
Who knows...maybe it was Patatas' brother - Huevos? ;)
Rosie gets more hilarious every episode!! She had so many good one-liners in this one!!
Okay, fine, since I don't see it anywhere else in the comments, I'll do it. I don't feel great about it, but I'll do it. Andy won the no bell prize.
Et tu Emma, brilliant
@@tehjoch That was some quick thinking. Loved it.
I'm in love with Rosie Jones she's just so incredibly funny. Her whole guilt trip of Jack is so manipulative but in an ironic way!
Loved Jack's song at the beginning.
Also love Emma attacking Greg with a "You need to wake up, Mate" before turning on Andy who was trying to help her out. 😂😂😂
I love Rosie and Emma so much
Rosie’s hilarious and I love how Emma (almost?) always backs her up 🥲
Where the f has Emma been all my life. Extremely fun to look at and love her humor. Love how this show lets us get to know entertainment personalities that we would never have run across otherwise (from here in the US at least). I've found so many great series, panel shows and movies just by deep diving into people from Taskmaster.
She's on a britcom with fellow taskmaster Rose Matefeo called Starstruck
